Kurapika would be one of the most protective ones seeing as though his half of the villains in this au are his enemies 😭

he won’t want you to go out a lot at all so I hope your not one for adventure, preferably an introvert too so you aren’t always super hype to see others and maybe a little skeptical like him

With your permission he’ll put a tracker on you just in case, he seems to be surrounded by kidnapping-🗿 so he can’t risk that happening to you

even more so if the troupe finds out about you, which he really really really hopes never happens even tho it just might

i don’t think it’ll be anyone’s fault if they do, unless Kurapika kidnapped you and you try to escape, then Shalnark likely just found out about you through research

And the chances of Chrollo not taking you hostage to use against Kurapika are almost 0%

if that does happen Kurapika will do whatever it take to get you back, even if it means telling the troupe they can have his life as long as they set you free (which Kurapika is smart so he’ll get his friends/Allies to help make sure they actually set you free in case it was a set up, he comes up with a very detailed plan and it’s success rate is pretty high since he’s managed to outsmart Chrollo before using the element of surprise. I’m not sure where he’ll send you but if Gon suggests Aunt Mito’s house he’ll likely take the opportunity seeing as though he has no family to send you to himself).

but if that doesn’t happen! (Thankfully) he will constantly move every few months and make to sure keep lots of locks and passcodes wherever you stay at the moment. He also has lots of security cameras, but don’t worry! He’s a good boyfriend aside from all the crazy stuff you have to go through from his wild life so he still gets you gifts and spends all his free time with you when he’s home! 💗

SO the mechanics of how the mind wipe works (and with the wound disappearing with the lick) is actually a little power I borrowed from Vampire the Masquerade, which is a ttrpg I really love. There's two abilities one called Cloud Memory and the other The Forgetful Mind. Cloud Memory is simple--you simple erase a moment of the memory and the victim will be none the wiser to it as long as they don't press on the memory. Then they'll realize something is wrong. The Forgetful Mind is a little more complex, as in that one you're actually rewriting the victim's memory, and giving them false memories to replace it. I wrote Jake's little stunt as a middle ground between the two. So Y/N would wake up the next morning and she'd know they fucked and boy it must've been spectacular but she'd definitely forget the details of what exactly happened (i.e. the venom). A shitty move of Jake for sure--but alas I am a vampire apologist, and wasn't lying when I said this was self indulgent (God please send me a vampire boyfriend I can make him worse). Two things about me: I will die for Jake, and the only thing I love in this world more than Enha is vampires (as you may guess, me discovering Enha's concept was very detrimental to me. In fact my roommate laughed in my face and said "Good Luck!' when I forced him to watch the Drunk-Dazed video).

And yes sweet nonnie--not interpreting this as hate at all! As a reader, I hate being given very morally black and white characters, it takes a lot of intrigue out of a story, and doesn't give us the tension we seek. Morally grey characters (like my vampire Jake) give us two sides of the story. He's being objectively shitty, and taking away so much agency from Y/N, and yet he loves her, and doesn't know how to face the truth because he is, like you said, selfish! His fear of being alone causes him to act in a way that endangers Y/N and only worsens his case when the inevitable happens. I like to think it adds a little spice, where you can see the sweetness and we see the POV of Jake giving Y/N what she's dreamed of and more, but from his POV we see the selfishness and the monstrosity of what he's doing and the danger he puts her in every time he drinks and then wipes her mind.

And TEEHEE just giggled and kicked my feet. I love your interpretation of the ending. I think it's just so fundamentally sad if Y/N wants her mortality but that doesn't mean she'll always be able to keep Jake, and because of that Jake doesn't have a choice but to let her go. How long will they let this relationship last? People will realize he doesn't age, and what happens when she gets to an age where she doesn't feel comfortable being with him anymore? What if she wants a family and a life? So many thoughts so many possibilities! <3

Honestly I like this ship more than Moonbli because this actually has romantic tension I actually spotted and they did have romantic moments where they were all alone like in the Rainwing place with Moon seeing Ivicle sleep and Moon saying she trusts him. These two had actual romance in my opinion and a interesting dynamic, not very unique with the guy denying it and the girl also denying it but still enjoyable. Their story tied slightly more in to the actual plot and their character development. It wouldve been nice if Moon was someone who helped him realize that he could be his own dragon without his parents and tribe. Unfortunatly their not the canon ship and now it'll never happen

Okay, so first I must apologize if this is too much and I'm exceed, so feel free to do whatever you want with this. I've been having this thoughts all day, what if Jace was at the brick of dead? (I think this is better suit to a modern au)

Jace had been feeling ill, nauseous, massive migraines, and continues nosebleeds. He wasn't a fool, he knew something was going on, but didn't want to worry his family, in truth he didn't think he deserved their care, he was afraid that they would confirm what he already knew, that he was a mistake.

He ended up going to a doctor, just to be told that he was going to die. He was overwhelmed, but mostly because he had a duty with his mother, with his family. Who was going to carry on with their legacy... Once again he had fail.

He tried to spent time with them, not knowing what he should do, but they were busy. Baela and Luke were occupied with Rhaenys and Corlys, while Rhaena was trying to help Rhaenyra with her difficult pregnancy. Meanwhile, Daemon and Joffrey were taking care of Aegon and Viserys.

Jace was alone once again. That was until he reconnected with Helaena, and with her came Aegon, Aemond and Daeron. But he felt the attraction between him and Aemond, it was evident.

All was good, until it wasn't. The tension because of the last months of pregnancy of Nyra, was getting on everyone nerves. This brought a petty fight between Jace and his family about how he was spending time with the enemy.

All ended up with him running away in the middle of the night. But he had worsened with the months, and the cold of the winter night didn't help. It was Aegon who casually found him coughing his lungs out, and who had to carry him to an hospital. That's how his uncles and aunt, who stayed all night, discovered what was going on. They were his safe place during his last days...

I honestly don't know how to continue this, maybe I don't want to kill my baby. I don't know if it would be more angsty if his family discovered about his illness or if he died and the only ones who knew were the greens. Idk, you can do with this what you want, once again I apologize, I just really love your work and only felt safe sharing in this blog💗
