finishing up jonathan strange & mr. norrell, susanna clarke - should finish it today or tomorrow. just started: the queen's starfire throne, hailey tuner - it's the last book, i'm gonna have all the feels about this i can already tell. this is the most i've liked a series in a long time and i'm a wreck. bumbling along on: the puzzle wood, rosie andrews - i hope this book is actually gothic, the last one i picked up that said it was 'gothic' was absolutely not. still trying to scratch that itch. stalled out on: blood of torbatt, c.j. merwild - i've been reading this for two months now and i just.... blegh. there's nothing wrong with it, i even like it so far but i want gus and domino to be together and, like, domino has another love interest now and i don't like it? i like her, she's an intriguing character, but i also hate that she exists because gus and domino have been apart for SO LONG NOW so her existence just keeps the story going in the wrong direction, y'know? it doesn't seem like gus and domino are going to meet again for a long, long time and i'm just over it. i know the only way to get them back together is to keep going but i'm not pleased with how long it's clearly going to take and it's making me want to never pick up this book s2g so blegh
