heres. the thing. about y'shtola

a lot of ppl just think of like, heavensward y'shtola bc thats the most iconic one and then of course shadowbringers gave us goth mommy y'shtola. and i appreciate those. but i feel like a lot of ppl have forgotten about arr y'shtola and thats not really fair to her, because arr y'shtola slaps honestly. like before she like unintentionally (or maybe intentionally on squeenix's part) became basically the game's poster child she was just this unassuming nerd who couldn't really give a fuck but still kicked inordinate amounts of ass with just a twig. and i love her for it. like ok i love the new y'shtola even more obviously but like let's not forget our roots dammit
