Hate to say it, but Chenford this season is my least favorite plot line.😐 they are simply ✨old news✨ like I want them to get messy. And ik that’s what the preview was hinting at for next week. But like I’d much rather them fight and argue then do whatever this uncomfortable flirt is. Or even better yet let them be separate so Lucy can focus on her career😤 like when we get solo Lucy content it’s always good!

I think my problem is I don’t really care for Tim. I just…idk. Idk how to describe it but I can live without him (I know I know)

We aren’t seeing Tim get help and until we physically see or hear that with a therapist that is NOT Blare London then I don’t want them to even entertain Chenford.

On that note Lucy needs therapy too. Home girl is like gone through so much in last season alone that if she ever wants this relationship to work she also has to work on herself beyond work. They touched so much on her anxiety last season that if they don’t retouch that, it will be ashame.

Do I think they are getting back together? Yes but hopefully not till the end of the season. Because they both have so much work to do.

Wopez

Also the whole jealous Wopez story line they got going on is crazy. Like you’re telling me Angela can’t see Wesley’s face drastically change when that man is around? I doubt it. Why can’t we just let Wopez be happy? They never get a moment to breathe 😤

Also this detective is disgusting and I know a lot of girl relate to this when they have male friends. How can you act all chubby and then find out they are thinking about sleeping with you. 😐 tale as old as time

Finally!!!! Jayla content. I’ve been waiting for this issue to come up. Because since Nyla came in, she’s been a strong willed character willing to bend the laws to help her case. Whereas James is the honest good boy who judges you if you don’t have reusable bags. How they haven’t had issues about their jobs during their marriage is unrealistic. They are so strong willed and smart that it has to come up! And I’m so excited we are gonna see that play out!

John

Finally. John needs a reality check. He is constantly putting himself into situations that can get him killed, he has learned more from his rookie then she from him, and every time he has something going on personally, he lets it mess with his head. It’s gonna end up getting him killed. He already got one man killed because he couldn’t focus. He’s constantly thinking about other things and this will get him shot or worse Celina. I think John needs to go on vacation and get it together. Go to therapy. I get his wife’s life is in jeopardy but with the job he leads, one moment not voiced will get someone else killed.

The best, most cohesive episode of the season thus far

The writing on Angela/Nyla needs to be punched up because at this point they're just indistinguishable from each other.

Loving the Chenford angst. Tim just took it (as he should; could've used that in 6x01 but that's another story). Can't wait to see how this storyline unfolds. Lucy yelling at Tim and their huge fight in the 6x06 preview - that's the vulnerability that Meleric talked about at TCAs, I think.

Bailey got her flowers. Love the camerawork as she tries to find the child and remembers the child she babysat almost drowning. Could this be why she decided to be a paramedic-firefighter?

Psycho-psych is all kinds of bad news. Aaron beware.
