me reading les mis fics in 2013: seems unlikely that grantaire always smells of turpentine, what an overused trite trope
me, a fine art undergrad, 7 years later: [washing my hands with an entire bottle of white spirit]
#dont do this it's very bad for you#but sometimes you forget that certain paints are oil paints and next thing you know#white spirit bath!!!!! pray u dont die of huffing fumes!!!!#grantaire#nobody in the studios uses turpentine tbh it's more expensive...we dont even use artists white spirit....household garbage only#i say 'we' as if i buy it and dont just steal from the fireproof cabinet when nobody is looking#anyway my point is:::: if we used turps we probably WOuld smell of turps all the time and not like paint thinner#uni lyf
