hey y'all maybe we don't have to compare every little quirky habit and routine to a crippling mental illness, actually
#no hate to anyone who rbed without thinking it's just that almost half of my childhood was ruled by my compulsions#and to have someone compare it to wanting to save your favourite bit of your meal for last is. very upsetting#and like i get that OP is joking but that's kind of part of the problem#OCD is not and should never be a joking comparison#and christ on a bike pls don't ask twitter whether or not they think u have a disorder#the common understanding of most mental illnesses has been warped beyond all recognition#(not least because of comments like this not going to lie)#this is the kind of thing that leads to 'well i mean aren't we all a LITTLE BIT OCD'#sorry these tags are super disorganized im just tired
