#go fest was this weekend#(pokemon btw)#which was great#thoroughly enjoyed myself#well worth the sunburn#but like#someone I was with commented on how many rayquaza I caught#and was like 'now you can use those for trades!'#and I'm like. couple problems with that.#firstly: all y'all don't want to trade with me because you exclusively save all 100 daily trades with your alternate account.#so all your alt accounts are getting souped up awesome stuff because... you can't bear to part with your stuff? I guess?#secondly: rayquaza is a legendary. that's a /special/ trade. we get ONE of those a day.#and: you guessed it. alt account.#all the people that are serious about trading have alt accounts.#go fest had a bonus of six bonus trades!#didn't matter! all six went to your alts!#so I just went home with all 36 of my rayquaza and got NOTHING#no guarenteed XL candies per trade for me because y'all wouldn't sacrifice even one of them#so yeah#I'm gonna fucking transfer my extra rayquaza on a double transfer candy day like a barbarian#because what's the alternative?#sitting on them for ages in the HOPE that I get to have a trade with them someday?#yeah right#that's hoarder talk and I've already spent years training myself out of that#bitch I'm not saving these for trades.#sheriff rants
