Because of Haas, next year is going to be the first year since 1990 that we haven't had a Schumacher and/or Vettel on the grid.

Hi! Just wanted to add some teams making their drivers dirty that your anon asked. All of them were different but maybe this can throw some light into it?
This goes baaaaaaaack in time, even in the 90s Prost/Senna/Schumacher times where like this. Mick/Haas, Oscar/Alpine, Daniel/McLaren are definitely not the worst ones.
Top of my head I’ve the saga involving Williams/Jenson Button/ Bennetton. It was a legal thing more of specially cause social media didn’t exist.
Haas made it dirty on Grosjean (before the crash) and Magnussen too. Although Kevin said he understood. It’s Guenther style.
Now McLaren, McLaren has a story of being shit to their drivers, Vandoorne can probably tell you everything about it. Just google it. Even Max said McLaren sucked back then for how they treated him (Stoffel is his friend).
RB with Alex was bad managment for me too but they did the same with Pierre. Webber was mad at them too at one time when he had to renovate and he was Seb’s teammate.
Ferrari when he was chasing Seb but at the same time offering Fernando an extension until 2019 was kind of harsh too and Fernando said it hit him hard too. Like McLaren they have a history of doing shitty stuff cause they paid Kimi not to race in 2010 so Fernando could take his seat bringing Santander Bank with him and Kimi went to Rally for two years. Ferrari also mistreated Seb before he left. They usually do this with drivers before they terminate their contracts, Kimi in 2009/2010, Fernando in 2015, Sebastian in 2020.
Williams didn’t want Valtteri go but I can’t remember if that was nasty or no.
Hello!! Yes to alllll of these! Plus the long RB thread I reblogged a few posts back detailing all the stuff they’ve done.
Williams is a shady one actually. There’s the business with them trying to sell George’s seat from underneath him, and also they fired Damon despite him being WDC which meant he ended up at Arrows in a car that barely finished a race.
Merc aren’t completely clean either. They did Michael a bit dirty in 2012. There were numerous reports he was getting fired for poor performance in 2012, and they announced Lewis was replacing him before he could announce anything himself. They definitely hung him out to dry. Norbert Haug claimed he wanted to retire but idk, I think he’d have announced that first rather than have it look like he got dropped?
