This fic has mentions of periods, so if you're not willing to, don't read it. It's quite literally just a fanfic where soft Niragi is helping her through the first day of a period with preparations and cuddles.

I wrote this purely because I can and nobody is stopping me.

Niragi had woken up to nothing besides him, except for a subtle warmth that used to be much warmer, much more solid. He whines quietly, feeling around for his girlfriend but finding nothing but empty space. Niragi sits up and looks around in the dark room, and he spots the sliver of the bathroom light being on. He hears the sound of the toilet flushing, followed by quiet mutterings and cabinets being opened and shut. Curious, Niragi calls out for her, thinking she was just in search of toilet paper.

“ Hey, I’m pretty sure it’s in the back of the cabinet!” Niragi shouts from the bed, and he hears another rather noisy cabinet being opened and the crinkle of movement.

“ Nope, nothing!” She calls back. “ Niragi, they don’t have any hygiene products in here! Ugh, fine, I guess I’ll have to make do today.” There was the sound of ripping, and disgruntled grunts. Niragi blinks. He’s pretty sure there was toilet paper in there. He gets up and comes to the bathroom door, casually opening it and peeking inside, his girlfriend pouting. She had finished pulling her sweatpants up, Niragi glancing at the still open cabinet. He spots the toilet paper neatly stacked in the back, pointing to it. “ There’s paper right there though. What are you talking about?” His girlfriend looks at him like he grew a second head, Niragi confused as she began to laugh. He tilts his head, not getting the joke at all. Niragi didn’t even know if there even was one, but he laughs a little with her, smiling.

She laughs for a while, to the point where tears came from her eyes, wiping them away. “ Oh you absolute gem, I can’t believe it. You have no idea what I’m talking about, do you." Niragi shakes his head, still confused.

“ I’m on my period, you silly giraffe.” She explains. “ You know, the time of the month for every person with a uterus?”

Niragi blinks, then grins. “ You mean werewolf season?”

That makes her laugh again, Niragi happy he made her laugh with his very dumb joke.

“ Oh my goodness gracious- Yeah, sure-“ She lets out a few more giggles, then gestures to the open cabinet. “ But there’s nothing in here for them. I need a pad or a tampon or something, but I think this bathroom ran out. I think I’m gonna have to ask other people with they have any.” “ I can get some for you!” Niragi offers eagerly. He could even use this as an excuse to wear her kitty headband, which could find anything they wished!

“ Aww, you’d really do that for me? You’re so sweet!” She waddles over and hugs him, Niragi happily hugging back. “ Yeah, if you wouldn’t mind. My lower region is gonna suffer anyways for a bit. Good thing I’ve got visa days for days! I don’t have to worry too much, and neither do you!” Niragi nods, and he gently rubs the lower half of her back, which she responds to with a content purr from her throat. He scoops her up bridal style, carrying her back to bed, gently setting her down. “ I’ll grab some for you, no worries!” “ You’re the best, my sweet Nini. Make sure that they’re the right size, okay?” She tells him the general size he should be going for, Niragi quickly nodding and running out of the room in search of the products. He doesn’t forget to grab his girlfriend’s kitty headband to help ease his search. That way, he can do it as quickly as possible and make her as happy as possible. He didn’t know much about it, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t be a great ass boyfriend.

Thankfully, he didn’t take long, as another woman happily hands over some spares from her room, as well as quick instructions on the best way to take care of someone on their period to make them as comfortable as possible. Niragi nods and takes it all in, going on a trip around the Beach to grab anything he could to make his girlfriend feel like the queen she was.

When he comes back, she was laying on his side of the bed, laying on the side of her body with her face tucked into his pillow, comfortably resting as well as she physically could rest. She perks up as Niragi makes his way in with what she asked for and more, dumping them nearby.

“ Aww, what’s all this?” “ Well, I wanted to make sure you felt alright during this so….. I got more stuff for you! I even brought dark chocolate for you to snack on.” He shakes a bag of them, her eyes lighting up and making grabby hands for them. Niragi gives them to her with a proud smile, his girlfriend smiling at him and warming his heart. “ Oh my goodness gracious you are the absolute best, Niragi. Thank you. I feel so loved-“ “ Of course! Anything for you!” Niragi says, grinning proudly. She sits up and takes the bag of hygiene, scooting her way to the bathroom to do her business. Niragi sits down on the bed and waits until she comes back out, the two immediately embracing when she lays back down on the bed, cuddling up to each other.

“ Hey. Hey Niragi.” “ Hm? Yes, kitten?” “ Feed me chocolates and in return I’ll give you chocolate flavoured kisses? It’ll make the time pass by, and distract me a little~” She offers, waggling her eyebrows, and Niragi gasps in excitement, grabbing the bag of chocolates.

“ Oh my goodness I thought you’d never ask. Of course I will-“

( The rest of her week went similar to this, Niragi trying his best to help her through it, even if it just meant cuddles. He loved cuddles from her. By the time it was done, she surprised him with even more chocolates for the both of them, just as a thanks for being a good sport about it. :D)

at first, he has no idea what to do. he's completely clueless when it comes to periods. he wasn't super close with his mom so he never really learned about them other than the one time in school when it was required

if you tell him that chocolate and warmth help with periods he will immediately go to the store to pick up chocolate for you. anything to make his baby feel better

he's so shocked at how much periods hurt, he never thought they would actually hurt that bad. he's not dumb, he knew they were painful, but seeing you almost in tears because of your cramps is so heartbreaking for him

he wants you to feel as good as possible while on your period so just say the word and he'll do anything for you. breakfast in bed type of guy if you want

when he learns more about how your period feels for you, he's definitely way more understanding and better at taking care of you. at first he had no idea what to do until you told him how to help you

he'd doing his best but he loves you so it makes up for any mistakes he makes

once he knows what you need, he's on top of it making sure you always have it all. medicine, a heating pad, chocolate, he makes sure it's all there for you

he hugs you a lot when on your period because he knows it makes you relax. and he just enjoys holding you and this gives him a better excuse

chishiya, unlike arisu, knows exactly what to do whenever you have your period. he knows exactly what pads/tampons to buy for you if you don't have any, he knows what you crave whenever you have your period

he's just really attentive and keeps track of those things. it's one of the ways he shows he cares about you without verbally telling you

he's not a big pda person but he knows your cramps get horrible. he'll hold your hand or put his hand on the small of your back to comfort you if you're in public

when in private, he'll actually put in the effort to cuddle you. he knows all of the cuddling positions you enjoy the most while you're on your period

he really enjoys knowing that he can relieve your pain, even by just a little. he doesn't have to struggle with a period himself but based off of how you talk about it he knows it causes a lot of interference with your daily life

if he ever sees you laying in bed nearly in tears because of how bad it hurts, expect him to be next to you holding you within a few seconds. he cares so much and he hopes that he can do something to help you

he'll get you water or food if you don't have the energy to get out of bed. he just wants you comfortable and happy

he's so excited for your period to be over. he hates seeing you in so much pain, it makes his heart ache

he somehow always knows exactly what you need when you need it. he'll bring you a heating pad when he knows your cramps are getting bad. he'll get you medicine specifically made for periods (midol, pamprin, etc) whatever you like the most

he wants you to feel good and if he can do anything to relieve some of the pain for you he will. he loves you so much and doesn't want you hurting at all, so whenever you're on your period he always wants to help in any way he can even if it doesn't seem like he's the type of person to do that

he is. he definitely is. he cares about you so he'd do anything and everything for you to take care of you when you need it <3

karube daikichi

he's had plenty of partners before so he knows what to do when his partner has their period. it's no different with you

he treats you like royalty. he already does when you aren't on your period but even more so while you are. he knows how painful it can be and he wants to do everything to relieve some of that pain for you if he can

he'll do anything you need to do for you. do laundry? he's on it. the dishes? karube is doing that for you. it doesn't matter how simple the task, he doesn't want you getting up unless it's necessary

he doesn't mind when you're on your period but he always feels so bad for you because of how in pain you look. your face is always so contorted and sometimes you're curled up in a ball trying to find a comfortable position

he'll cuddle you in whatever position you'd like. he'll let you lay on top of him, beside him, it doesn't matter, even if it isn't comfortable for him. he just wants you to be free of pain

karube has the biggest heart ever and remembers all of the things you love, so he brings them all to you whenever you're on your period. food, candy, drinks, all of it is on his list to buy for you

he'll rub your back and massage your shoulders sometimes. he hears that it helps a person on their period so he does it if you want him to

niragi pre-borderlands would be all over you trying to help. borderlands is definitely different but it doesn't mean he doesn't care

let's be honest, borderlands niragi isn't a good person, but i'm just making him really soft for his s/o in everything i write about him

he knows what to do when you're on your period and will try to help you as best he can. he's usually busy with his job as a militant but when he isn't he's with you trying to comfort you

he doesn't know exactly what makes you feel the best but he does everything he knows you like. he'll make you your favorite food and bring you a drink to make sure you stay healthy
