Got back to my intense flourishes! 😍😛 . So 2 days back I came across this wonderful piece made by my favoritttteee letterer on Instagram Hazel Di (@hazelkletters) who came up with a prompt in which she beautifully chiseled the phrase #imperfectisbeautiful on lino and also shared her experience on how we get overwhelmed for perfection, which was so relatable. We often strain ourselfves on Instagram to keep our audience consistently posted with good content. We always have the pressure to create something "better or equal" to the last post in order to make our profile look more attractive and coordinated. For example, in my case, I just can't post a photo of plain lettering after I've posted an intricate piece which took me like 3 4 hrs or sometimes I just have to take down the photo because the colors are not good, the editing was satisfactory, or that little m and n were crooked 😂 etc. Urgh that anxiety! 🙄😖 . So all these reasons made me feel to participate and letter. It was such a great prompt @hazelkletters ! Loved working on it!
