I'm using that. I'm using that from now on, and I'll refuse to elaborate to my friends where it's from.

But anyways, I'm mildly in love with Wen Kexing, which was very unexpected because I usually don't fall too hard for drama characters. Let me tell you though - that fan waving!!! As a first-time watcher of WoH I am not even surprised that people love this drama so much because how do you even wave the fan that smoothly????? Truly though, as soon as I saw his smirk I knew I had no chance.

Context behind Quotebook if anyone cares or sees this in the sea of other Tumblr posts: My (irl) friends and I always yell "Quotebook!" for all the memorable lines we hear or say, so I feel like it would be fun to start a documented quotebook here on Tumblr as a pretty new person who loves many lines in things I watch! I'll also waffle a bit because this seems like a nice place to talk since people can just scroll right past my posts if they do not wish to see my stuff!!!

I've only just started properly using Tumblr, so my posts will be passable at best. 😊

Quotebook - Last Twilight episode 6

"When I'm stressed out, I like to come up here and think... A new day is coming" - Mork, after taking Day up to a rooftop.

"Is there anyone else in this world who doesn't feel pity for me?" - Day, on the same rooftop.

"Do you still think I feel pity for you?" - Mork, after that rooftop scene (I spoil below).

I initially resolved to not post about this show for my quotebook otherwise I'd be putting everything, but the rooftop scene was too beautiful. A beautiful view, a comfortable conversation, and the perfect storm of emotions. I'll spoil below, so don't click the read more if you wish to avoid spoilers!

Hello, I hope you haven't accidentally clicked this. I personally spoiled this episode for myself before so I'll allow you to speed scroll or close this! Trust me, as someone who actively searches for spoilers, you might not want to spoil yourself for this show!

Okay, I'm continuing!

First of all, the way Mork keeps taking Day to places he likes and sharing his life with him is very sweet. I appreciate the encouraging words, and they hit unexpectedly deeper than I expected. Mork is very sweet and every time I see someone say he's the whole forest of green flags I agree.

And that rooftop scene, or more specifically, the kiss. Everything that led up to it built so much angst and pain that I wasn't sure how I felt when Mork went in for a kiss after what fricking August did. However, while writing this I see the differences. August kissed Day so suddenly, didn't like him reciprocating and then said it was out of pity when Mork confronted him. Mork gets slowly closer to Day before kissing him and clears up Day's fears before he can overthink further! August moves away quickly, not letting Day see him, but Mork stays close, holding Day and letting Day scrutinise his face with the little vision he has. Mork is Day's safety net, he's there to catch him when stepping out of the safe bubble backfires, and I'm so glad for it!

If you couldn't already tell, I am actually loving this show so much - it's most definitely serving and I'm here for it! Jimmy and Sea are doing really well here, and (little) Ohm really surprised me! I didn't think I'd like his acting this much especially since I'd only seen him as a cheery supporting character in A Boss and a Babe!

Quotebook - We Go Fast on Trust episode 13 "It's Schrodinger's love." - Hao Yang, in reference to the leads' relationship! A physics reference is always a pass from me!

I love the friends here, but Hao Yang is especially hilarious for his constant teasing of Mobai!

Quotebook - We Go Fast On Trust episode 5

"You also go grocery shopping, huh?" - Chen Mo Bai

My guy goes following Shen Xi from the hospital to the shops, then when she catches him stares like a suspicious goldfish. The next words he utters are the iconic ones above which made me laugh so much I had to quotebook them!

Mo Bai acts so shifty and sneaky that when he's caught, it's so obvious he was following her simply because he looks around as subtly as a parrot!

Shen Xi is also iconic for the way she picked up that pack to reveal her completely unimpressed face.

Quotebook - Fahlanruk episode 3

"Walk carefully. Don't fall in love." - Fahlan

The reply to that:

*middle finger* - Sherbet, as he walks off.

Okay, the dynamics are really fucking questionable and Fahlan is a dick, but the sass Sherbet has is hilarious. Also, the long hair took a while to get used to but when he's shaking his head enough to give the hair it's own life, I think I'm fine with it.

Quotebook - Fahlanruk episode 1

"One sided love is like eating dry noodles - so hard to swallow." - Gear

I've laughed far too much in this episode so far. Gear is being lovelorn here, and I kinda love and hate Sher being a shit stirrer and flirting extra hard with his friend in front of Prince.

But Gear is hilarious to me. This bizarre guy watches his crush coming down the corridor from around the corner, then deliberately bumps into him and makes excuses when their class is the opposite direction.

I'm now trying to "hate watch" things - I want to see the stuff people REALLY disliked! I've based this off a voting list I made on MDL! This is mainly because it's interesting reading scathing yet funny reviews and laughing at the things people disliked in the show. Theoretically, I should also get a few lower-rated dramas out of this if they're that bad, as well as some entertainment, so my bell curve of ratings might even out eventually!
