Omg hi Kate!! Hope you're doing okay and had a good week! 🫶💕

So I talked about my Javi fic, in this ask right here, and I don't have any crumbs to really provide right now since I'm working on it and I plan on using this upcoming weekend to write it out some more.

But I will say, in a strange way the themes of the angst topic at hand, of loving someone that is destroying themselves and by default destroying the relationship and yourself is some real shit that I've personally experienced. I haven't fully explored a fic idea like this before, so it's nice to have something different for a change and to challenge myself with angst as a whole. I'm also excited to write something for Javi cause I really do love him and I find his character very interesting!

I also want to say that I'm currently outlining my entry for your Roll-A Trope challenge. I'm actually really happy I got exes w/Joel Miller cause I already had an idea I wrote down prior and told myself to revisit it when I had the opportunity. So now that I do, I think it would be fun. :)

Omg you're not being biased at all! You deserve to know about what I'm writing for your challenge lol. I do also want to say, I am truly sorry about taking so fucking long on it. I want to do it, have been meaning to, and have the idea outlined, so I don't want to give you bs or something "short". I want you to like it and I want to be proud of it, but I promise, it's coming. 🫶

SO, on the topic of the fic idea and the fact that it's angst (YAS!), I'm basically feeding off of the concept that Javier and the reader are married, have been for a while and there is an age gap involved which is significant to the story. She is relatively young around her early to mid 20s, and got involved with Javi while he was working in Colombia, and from a distance their relationship looks "good" when really it is all a facade.

Javi's job at the DEA is destroying their relationship and ultimately destroying him as well, and the reader can't do anything to stop it. She has to see Javi at his worst, and he does things that do hurt the reader on a personal level (I won't say what it is cause imma get jumped but I promise it's not physical!). But because she still loves him, still wants him even if it's killing her inside, she will grin and bear it because she is the "cool girl" and has accepted her unhappy demise.

So yea, I'm excited to finally take a proper crank on this fic, and I haven't fully decided on the title yet I can still change it to something else but we will see. :)

tell me more about kiss the girl 👀👀 (please please please)

Omg hiii! 👋 Hmmm, I did talk a lot about kiss the girl in the previous ask here and I don't want to give away too much on what happens in the story since I want it to be thoroughly drawn out.

But I will say that this first part won't really have any smut in it. [CROWD BOOS.] HOLD ON GUYS! There will probably be smut in the second part, I haven't gotten that far and obviously we know Logan and reader are gonna be fucking like that's a no brainer (and it's me writing this like DUH! they're gonna fuck!). But I'm doing this with the intention that Logan, despite his grumpy demeanor and the walls he put up to hide his vulnerability, actually wants to do things "right" and not repeat the same mistakes. But he will mess up anyway because it's Logan and he has self sabotaging tendencies and is a big ball of trauma and mess. Wade will also be involved to smack some sense into him, he's taking the matchmaker/cupid role very seriously.

Heyyy hun! Yes you can!! 🫶 Let's see, where do I begin with this behemoth of a fic.

Honestly, I've been chipping away at the first part of my untitled Logan series involving Worst/Variant! Logan and a friend of Wade's. It's basically an extension of these headcanons I posted a little while ago, and I just wanted to write a story of Logan coming into this new world and learning how love again and breaking those walls down over time despite being scared to be vulnerable again.

The story won't be happy forever though, because again, Logan is someone that is deeply traumatized and has a lot of hurt in his past. So yes, he will fuck up, there will be arguments and miscommunications and angst and having to work through those issues. But it is a love story, a real one I think, and I'm excited to be working on it. Wade will also be involved in playing cupid and matchmaker with his sidekick Laura getting in the mix, and of course Blind Al, so we will have some fun to break in between the drama.

I've made a pretty big dent at the first chapter, but I'm realizing it's going to be much longer than I anticipated so it's taking me a little while to finish, but it's coming!! It's probably the longest thing I've written to date, which is making me nervous lmao, but I'm trying to be patient in the process and really write something I am proud of. Hopefully, I can share it in two weeks!

Oh boy do I want to tell you about alpha! logan & omega! reader. Buckle up cause it's about to get wild.

Okay so, it's still in the outline/drafting phase because I don't plan on releasing it until October for my OMEGAVERSE OCTOBER sort of thing. I haven't written anything concrete since I'm trying to get through these fics for challenges first.

Without spoiling anything, I will give you a gist of the idea cause I lowkey wanna gatekeep as a surprise so this isn't final. But I'll write a little something off the dome for you to get an idea of the vibes I'm working with:

The mutant lives comfortably in isolation, deep in a clearing off the grid where he remains a phantom. It's quiet, nobody bothers him, and he is left to his own devices. The cruel world around him has hardened his being and made his heart cold, the adamantium coating his skeleton a testament to the weight of his weathered soul. The seasons were on the cusp of transformation, and the air was alive with the anticipation of change. The crispness of autumn gave way to the chill of winter, heralding the arrival of a new era. Wildlife was beginning to welcome hibernation, and the wood supply in the cabin slowly dwindled, a sign of the impending switch. Chopping logs to prepare for the upcoming winter solstice, the old man swung the heavy blade of his axe, coming down in a heap and splitting the wood in half. Logan's nostrils flared on the fifth log as he caught something in the air, a foreign sweetness faintly reminiscent of caramel. He turned his head, body rigid, as he witnessed a figure walking towards him. They appeared female, wearing tattered clothes stained with crimson at least a day old. He looked in confusion, sniffing again in the stranger's direction and the gears began to turn in his head. An omega. Unmated at that.

Essentially, it's going to be a two parter. Don't expect alpha old man! Logan to soften up or be nice. He will be mean, he will be toxic, and he will be standoff-ish. There is death, there is murder and talks of murder, there is intense sex, there are talks of the mating process between alphas and omegas, there is violence, there is violence seen as an act of passion, and Logan will be defined as a "true" alpha. This fic idea sort of leans into darker content, but I am excited to do something a little different this time around.

I have spoken a little bit about the KISS THE GIRL Logan piece I've been working on in the previous asks here and here, but I can tell you a little bit more about it!

When I initially had the idea, I wasn't too sure on how to characterize Logan because I know he's rough around the edges and is seen as this guard dog, which makes sense given how we are introduced to him in the movie and his past.

However, I wanted to make him a little down bad and pathetic when it comes to romantic love. Yes, he's a little hard to crack and get to know personally because he has so many walls and often doubts himself and can't trust people frequently. But I also like to think that being with Wade and surrounded by other people softened him up the slightest bit to where being in a romantic relationship is not such a farfetched idea. He wants to be the good guy even if he thinks he can't be redeemed, and he really is just a guy that wants to be loved but doesn't necessarily know how or in what way. So this story will explore that and I'm excited to share it. :)
