If we avoid the experience of boredom, we also avoid the opportunity to enter a new dimension of being. Boredom is a defense mechanism of our unenlightenment - it always manifests itself when we are close to creating suspicion that we are in no way as firm, persistent, detached, permanently and clearly defined as we believed before. Boredom is the intrusive little sign of the little tyrant in us that signals to us: "DO NOT GO OUT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ABOVE THIS POINT, OR YOU WILL REGRET IT BITTERLY!"
