Watching cooking YouTube shorts and they're making me really despair for Irish cuisine or maybe just my familys ability to cook. 'This is the MOST BASIC mashed potatoes ever (potatoes with cream and salt and pepper and a creamy consistency)' no be quiet I lived for a decade off of boiled spuds mashed with nothing in them except for some gravy and that's how they're meant to be.
