The First Snow- Johnny Suh

The smell of hot chocolate invaded Johnny's nostrils while YN placed two cups full of the warm liquid on the table in front of him, a shiver running through his body when his cold hands touched the hot object, the design on the mug making him smile unconsciously reminding him of Jisung, YN soon slipped into the boy's lap, quickly covering herself with a double blanket and picking up her Anna mug that matched his one.

It was relatively cold and any ordinary person would have been locked inside under warm blankets, but not them; Johnny had insisted that they should stay out in the yard waiting for the snow, the one he claimed was coming today. Johnny had checked as many meteorology channels as he could, and if he said he hadn't been over-enthusiastic with most of them agreeing that the snow should arrive that week in Seoul he would be lying.

- We're going to get sick - said the girl taking a sip of the brown liquid and turning around to get a marshmallow from her boyfriend's cup - and I still don't understand why.

- We won't get sick - he placed the cup on the table pulling his girlfriend's hood around, placing it where it should be, and leaving a light touch on her nose - if you dress appropriately for the occasion.

- Occasion? An event in our backyard that we don't even know if it will happen- She said retorting only to have her boyfriend pulling her close while sticking his head in her neck almost making her drop the cup in her hands while muttering what she deduced were contestations to her claims- I still don't understand why you're so obsessed with it, we can watch the snow together anytime.

-That's not true- he huffed pulling away from the girl, they both knew that anything between them had to be meticulously planned due to their schedules and that even simple moments like sitting together had been difficult lately, which led the couple to some disagreements- and it would be different... - YN studied his face carefully, Johnny was definitely worried and invested in the idea of watching the snow with her, slowly the woman leaned towards him as asking him to continue - the first snow is special, now be quiet and look straight ahead.

- Well- the girl let out a little giggle seeing her boyfriend who almost never got frustrated blushing violently and looking away, quickly turning around to check if she wasn't missing anything she turned back to him determined to get an explanation- different how, my love?

- Couples who watch the first snow together stay together- His answer took YN completely off guard, obviously, the girl had heard the saying before, however, she never thought that Johnny believed in it - And I don't want to be separated from you.

Without thinking twice, YN pulled Johnny to her sealing their lips in a tender and affectionate kiss, of course she was also worried about their current situation, but seeing her boyfriend openly trying his best to keep them together, even waiting in the excruciating cold, touched her deeply.

When they parted ways, YN couldn't help but appreciate his beautiful features until something caught her eye out of the corner: snowflakes.

- No worries then- Johnny opened his eyes with a confused expression, noticing the smile on his girlfriend's face he decided to follow her gaze only to find what he wanted so much, the first snow of the year, bright and warmer than he thought it would be, with his lover in his arms he couldn't help but smile- I think we're going to be together for a long time.

"Are you Okay?" Johnny, your friend, asked you. You two were on the way from a local coffee shop and because you were feeling good today you decided you would like to walk there.

"Yes, I am," you answered for, you didn't even know, time. "You asked me like ten times already and we just went outside the coffee shop, Johnny." you looked at him with a small smile.

He also looked at you and stopped walking. He had this rule that if you're looking at him, you need to stop walking because right now with all the snow on the ground it is very dangerous to not look where are you placing your feet. "I am just making sure, Y/N. You seem tired," he remarked.

"Ha, thanks, Johnny." you rolled your eyes. You knew he doesn't mean it that way but this is his reason for everything 'You look tired', it's annoying by now.

"You know I don't mean it like that, Honey." he grabbed both of your hands. "I'm just a little overprotective of you now when you're having my child, you know." he looked into your eyes.

"I know, I know." you nodded. "But you don’t have to. Of course, I am very happy that you are that supportive because it happened by accident but I would tell you if something was wrong."

"I'm not an asshole. I would never turn my back on you when it was mostly my mistake." he smiled. "And it somehow made me not act like a child. Not that much." he laughed and you laughed with him. Suddenly, Johnny lost his balance, and to not take you with him down, he dropped your hands and fall into the snow by himself.

"Johnny!" you yelled in surprise but then you laughed. "Are you Okay?" you asked between laughs that were still escaping your lips. "Why am I asking? You look very much Okay," you remarked when Johnny started to make something that was supposed to be a snow angel.

Johnny looked like he has so much fun so you decided to lie next to him and do the same. When your back touched the cold snow you slightly shivered but that was soon gone and you started making one of the snow angels yourself.

But Johnny didn't like it.

"Y/N! You're gonna catch a cold." he sat from his lying position and turned his head so he was looking at you. "Get up, right now." he was ready to stand up and help you on your legs but you grabbed his hand and stopped him. "What?" he raised his eyebrows.

"Let me enjoy it too, please." you gave him puppy eyes. "Just this one time before our baby is born. When the little one will be here with us, we can do this all three together." you smiled at him.

Johnny was silent for a moment and then nodded. "Fine." he laid back in the snow and grabbed your hand. "Y/N?" you said your name with something uneasy in his voice. You just hummed that you are listening to him and waited for what he is about to tell you. "I'm happy that you are a mom of my baby."

"I'm happy that you are the father of my baby." you squeezed his hand and he looked at you. "I love you, Johnny." you finally confessed to him. "Oh, it started to snow." you were mesmerized by snow that was falling from the sky once again.

"I love you too, Y/N." he got on his side ruining his precious snow angel but he wanted to be closer to you so he could kiss your cheek.

Luckily, you, Johnny, and your baby girl were doing snow angels a year later and many years after that.
