i am asking you this in very good faith bc i have some moral quandaries with cat breeding that im trying to examine: how do you find it ethical to breed cats more or less just for looks when you yourself have so much experience with perfectly good non-pure-bred cats struggling to find good homes? i just can’t get over the idea that every time someone drops hundreds to thousand of dollars on a breeder kitten, there is a shelter kitty who is going without a good home and i’m curious about your thoughts. i’m truly not trying to start Discourse and i understand if you don’t want to engage with the topic at all to avoid that!!

i don't breed cats. if you're talking about the hobbit and breakfast litters they're kittens that were surrendered by a client. They were already born so it's not like we could even do an abortive spay. my only purebred cats have been Arthur and John, both of whom were rescues. I think maybe you have the wrong person.
