#my oc: diana williams

Hello! I read your post about writing about fictional royal families and felt you would be the best person to ask.

I’ve come up with a secondary AU centred around my OC, a Queen named Eleanor - my main AU takes place in a fictional European nation here on Earth named Ashwarnia where she is monarch.

In this AU, Eleanor is Queen of the United Kingdom instead, as the grandaughter of Prince Albert Victor, who survived pneumonia and ascended the throne as the sole King Albert. Her eldest son, Richard becomes the Prince of Wales and marries Lady Diana Spencer.

But I’m in a dilemma - should I include William and Harry in the AU, given the fact they’re Diana’s sons in our timeline, or create new characters inspired by them, like Prince Nicholas and Prince Frederick from The Royal We, or Prince Philip and Prince Henry from Red, White and Royal Blue?

I’m not sure which plan to use, if I go with William and Harry, I’d feel a sense of familiarity but at the same time confusion because I’m writing about fictional characters with a father and grandparents I made up. If I choose new Princes, I’d be even more confused in real life after being too immersed in this fictional AU.

Creating Fictional Kids for (Mostly) Fictional Royals

Prince William was named after Charles's cousin, Prince William of Gloucester, so without Charles the William moniker doesn't have the same relevance.

Prince Harry's actual name is Henry, which comes from a long line of royals named Henry. So, that one could stay.

However... I think if you name them William and Harry or some other name and Harry, you and your readers are going to picture the current princes with those names rather than the fictional princes you create. So, I think it's not a bad idea to consider other possibilities. But, at the end of the day it's entirely up to you. :)

Diana bites her lip at the heat in William's eyes. He's a sight to behold as he hovers over her on the bed; sweaty, panting, glorious. A rare blush paints his cheeks pink and she can't help the hand that runs up the column of his neck until she's cupping his face. Diana runs her fingertips affectionately over his rosy cheeks and involuntarily clenches around him. Does wanting him ever stop? The aphrodisiac might be heightening her need, but this hunger has always been inside her. William's eyes narrow, as if he knows exactly what's running through her head.

"You're the one who asked me to drink the aphrodisiac so I won't stop tonight, not until your voice is beautifully broken. Is that understood?"

Her response is kissing him. Diana draws him close and loses herself in his lips, her legs caging him against her as she rocks up against his cock, but he angles his hips to hit that spot and she breaks the kiss as a wanton moan rips from her lips. William chuckles as her head hangs back in pleasure, when she meets his gaze again his voice is dark with desire.

"Don't take your eyes off me."

Diana smiles fondly at the command that now locks her eyes on her lover. Greedy, she wants to say. I don't want to look at anything else. Instead, she uses all the remaining strength on her legs to flip their positions. William is caught off-guard by the movement and she whines when his hard heat drives deeper inside her, she sits up on his cock and circles her hips. William moans and his eyes sparkle when he looks up at her. "Naughty dove."

"All for you." At her words, he roughly squeezes her hips and she keens. "Again, I want to make you do that again."

"Keep losing yourself in your desires, Diana. You're stunning." William's hand draws up to tuck a stand of hair behind her ear, his knuckles grazing her cheek gently. "In turn, I'll lose myself in you."

Valtorian Estate, Cordonia

King Liam leisurely descended the opulent grand staircase after carrying his sleeping daughter to her room; Princess Eleanor was exhausted from the day’s events and fell asleep watching the countless number of lanterns floating gently carrying the hopes and dreams of the people into the night sky. He paused at the foot of the staircase and looked up to see Riley, starting to step down to follow him.

Inside his soul, he felt complete. He has everything that he had always wanted and dreamed of. Three beautiful, healthy children, a prosperous and peaceful kingdom, and the woman of his dreams by his side. His radiant queen.

Smiling, Riley called down, “wait for me, your Majesty.” Riley had just finished breast feeding their son, Stefan, and when he fell sound asleep along with his brother, William, she softly closed their nursery door to join Liam as they prepared to go outside the estate to give the closing remarks to the awaiting press.

The annual Lantern Festival had another successful run in Valtoria, being a much-loved festive favorite in Cordonia. The closing ceremonies to conclude the celebrations now awaited the King and Queen.

Liam chuckled as he held out his hand to her and when she took it, he gently pulled her into his embrace, kissing her cheek, his voice husky, but gentle as he replied,

"I would never leave without my Queen."

"Ah, yes, but you can't go anywhere without saying goodbye to those you love." Riley coyly responded.

"You're my favorite." Liam snickered.

"Favorite what?" Riley saucily replied.

He raised a brow and smirked. My "everything."

Smiling, Liam challenged, "who says?"

"This one." Riley giggled as she pressed a kiss to his jaw.

"Mmmm." Liam hummed, wrapping his arms around her, his hands sliding down to her bottom.

"Liam!"

"You know we can't do that here," she whispered, though her lips trailed kisses down his neck.

"It wouldn't be the first time..." He murmured back, his breath tickling her ear.

"I'm sure there are reporters watching the estate now, waiting for you."

Liam let out a small growl and reluctantly released his wife. She laughed, knowing full well how much Liam hated having his alone time with her cut short.

She took his hand in hers, and he laced their fingers together as they exited the estate and headed towards the podium and the awaiting press.

"Good evening. Thank you, all, for coming. Tonight was a great success, thanks to all of your efforts and that of our staff. We're honored to have you with us to celebrate a tradition that spans generations and is the highlight of Valtorian tradition. It warms my heart to see so many people come out and show their support. So, thank you all. And now, if you'll excuse me, I will see you next year. Enjoy the rest of the festival and please be safe on your journeys home. Have a good night."

The crowd clapped and cheered, and then started to disperse. Riley waved as she walked off the podium with Liam by her side.

"That was nice." Riley grinned.

"What was, love?"

"The way you spoke to the reporters. It was a little different from what you would normally say."

"Was it now?" Liam questioned.

Riley nodded and smiled knowingly.

"Maybe because I am just trying to get through this as soon as possible. So, I can have some quality alone time with my beautiful wife." He replied, his hand slipping onto the small of her back and moving downward, squeezing her bottom gently.

Riley gasped and bit her lip.

"Behave, my king. We're not alone yet."

"I can't wait."

After saying their goodbyes to the remaining lingering nobles, they hurried back inside the estate and up to their bedroom, where Liam immediately began removing his jacket and tie.

Riley giggled and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"Eager, aren't we, Liam?"

He turned, his shirt partially unbuttoned, revealing his toned chest, and stared at her with such heat in his eyes.

"Only for you, my Queen. Now come over here, so I can kiss you properly."

She stood and stepped over to him. As soon as she was within arm's reach, Liam grabbed her waist and pulled her into him. He captured her mouth with his, and their tongues danced as they kissed deeply. Liam's hand quickly unzipped her gown, with his fingers brushing her warm skin. Riley moaned and pulled away, smiling.

"You're so beautiful." he said softly, his hand caressing her face, his thumb grazing her cheek.

She blushed and turned her head, kissing his palm.

"You're charming, my King."

"I love when you call me that."

"Then you shall always hear it, my King."

"I'll never get tired of it."

"Nor will I." Riley softly responded.

“I wouldn’t change a thing about you.”

"Let's continue this in the bath, shall we?" Liam wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Absolutely."

Riley grinned as they both stripped their formal wear and then walked hand in hand into the bathroom, which had a huge bathtub that was more like a hot tub. Liam set the water to the right temperature and added some soothing bath salts. As the water filled, they kissed and touched each other. Liam's fingers skimmed her back, and he pulled her closer, his erection pressed against her stomach. Riley reached between them, wrapped her hand around his engorged member and stroked him, his moans vibrating her lips as he continued to kiss her.

Her fingers raked his shoulders, and her walls clenched around him, her orgasm hitting her. He groaned and sped up, his thrusts harder and deeper.

"Liam... Yes..."

"Riley..."

Liam captured her mouth in a kiss, his tongue slipping between her lips. Riley moaned and pulled him closer, her nails digging into his skin.

When his orgasm came, he groaned and buried his face in the crook of her neck. They held each other until their breathing returned to normal.

Liam withdrew and moved back, settling against the edge of the tub.

"That was amazing," Riley said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"It always is." He winked.

Riley rolled her eyes. "Cheeky."

Liam laughed, and she joined in.

After washing and drying off, Riley put on her silky pajamas and slipped into bed, Liam joining her. She snuggled close, resting her head on his chest, his arm wrapped around her shoulders, and his fingers caressed her skin.

"I have an idea.... now that our boys are here...". Liam paused as Riley propped up beside him to look into his eyes.

"I want to start a new Christmas tradition."

"What's that?"

"I'd like us to spend the week before Christmas at the Royal Blackspine Mountain Lodge, just the five of us. The boys will be old enough to enjoy the snow and sledding, and I know Ellie loves it there. What do you say?"

"I think that's a great idea. It would be nice for us to have some family time without any interruptions. But what about Leo and our friends?"

"They are more than welcome to join us. They are our extended family, and I would love to have them with us."

"You know, that sounds wonderful, Liam. I'm glad you suggested it. Maybe we could have the staff prepare a feast and a Christmas party for everyone. I will talk to Maxwell about it. You know how he is with the party planning."

Liam chuckled and leaned over, kissing her temple. "Yes, he does love his parties."

"That he does."

They laughed and then lay in silence for a few minutes.

"We should get some sleep. The twins will be awake before we know it." Riley yawned.

"Did you see their eyes when Ellie let go of the lantern off the balcony?"

"It was the sweetest thing. She loves her brothers so much. I'm glad she doesn't resent them for stealing our attention."

"Ellie is the sweetest child. She is always putting others first and is so compassionate and loving. She's a great big sister."

"She's growing up so fast." Liam sighed.

"Yes, she is. Soon she'll be a teenager, then a young woman."

"Oh, no, don't remind me." Liam shook his head, chuckling.

"She'll always be our little girl, no matter how old she gets."

"I hope you're right." Liam tittered.

"I'm always right."

"I wouldn't go that far." Liam guffawed.

Riley gasped, feigning offence, and poked his ribs.

"I'm joking, love. Of course, you are right. And you're always sexy."

"And you're always cheeky."

"But you love me."

"With all my heart, always."

Liam pressed a tender kiss to her lips. "I love you too."

"Goodnight, my king."               

"Goodnight, my queen."

The next morning, Riley was awakened by her cell phone ringing.

Maxwell is calling in response to the party planning text for the Christmas party that Liam had sent the night before.

She answered the phone. "Good morning, Max."

"Little blosom! My favorite Queen. How are you, my friend? It's so nice to hear from you. How's life at Valtoria treating you?" maxwell rambled.

"Life is great. Liam and I are looking forward to spending Christmas at the Lodge this year. It'll be our first Christmas with the twins, and we wanted to make it special. That's why we reached out to you. We're thinking of having a big party and inviting all our friends. Would you like to plan the event?"

Maxwell didn't hesitate with his response. "Oh, oh, absolutely!, Riley. I'm all over this. Can you give me some more deets!?, like what you're looking for and how many guests? We need to make this the biggest and best party of the season."

" I knew you were the right person to ask," Riley snickered.

"That's what we were hoping for. Here's what I have in mind...."

After Riley ended the call, Liam reached over, wrapping his arm around her waist pulling her back to his chest. "Who were you talking to?" He whispered, his lips grazing her ear.

"Just Maxwell, he's excited to help plan the Christmas party."

The sound of the twins crying sounded on the monitor.

"And that's my cue to feed the twins."

Liam sat up and stretched. "I'll come with you. Ellie is probably awake, too. I'll make us some breakfast while you get the boys ready. Sound good?"

"That sounds wonderful, my love."

They climbed out of bed, and Riley threw on her robe and slippers while Liam got dressed. Then, they headed out the door and down the hallway towards the nursery, where their children were waiting.

After heating the griddle for pancakes, Liam took a sip of his coffee.

Suddenly, the calmness of the moment was disrupted by a subtle vibration against Liam’s thigh. Reaching for his phone, it was lit up with a call from Leo. His brows furrowed in concern, immediately answering the call.

“Leo? What’s up?” Liam’s voice held a sense of urgency, worried that something unexpected had occurred in the Capital.

Talofa everyone! I have created ANOTHER OC that I want to share with you guys! And I wanted to say thanks to my dear mutual friend, @welldonekhushi for introducing me this interesting game called "Vampyr"! I've been brainstorming to create this character ever since I started watching it and I LOVED it! So thank you Khushi! And now, we shall start getting to know this character!

BACKGROUND STORY:

Diana Lune was born and raised in Willingdon, England. She had grown up on a farm with her parents and two younger siblings. A brother and a sister. She had really enjoyed her farm life with her family. She helped her father to run it, even though it was supposed to be a MAN’S job but she still wanted to assist. Seeing that her little brother was growing, she thinks it’s best for her to take care of it since she’s older.

That one night, when Diana was just on her way to check with the animals. She suddenly saw a young man, who was about her age, was devouring one of the cattle. She started to scream and called out for her father before grabbing a nearby weapon. Ready to strike. And when she was about to attack first, she noticed that this young man was looking scared when he was being discovered. He pleaded with her to spare him as he was just hungry and was trying to avoid eating any human. Diana doesn’t know if she would believe him or not. Until her father ran in with a shotgun and pointed at the young man. She saw him trembling in fear before she stopped her father and telling him to spare him. He didn't listen and was going to shoot him. That’s when her mother stepped in to stop him as she looked at the poor young man. Seeing her mother’s kind eyes, she saw her reaching out for his pale face and gently rubbed it. So she decided to keep and spare this poor fellow. Her father was against it as this choice angered him but his wife ignored him and took the young man in.

After a week or two, Diana had learned that the young man was named Antone. He was just a poor shoe boy in the city of London, trying to make some money for his poor sick father. He already explained to Diana and her family that he was attacked by some kind of creature. That’s how he got turned into this. He even knew that he’s a VAMPIRE. He fled away when one of the guards spotted him and ran into the countryside. HOPING to find somewhere safe. And he grew hungry as he tried to avoid eating people. That’s when he stumbled upon their farm. No choice but to eat one of their cattle to satisfy his hunger. Diana was amazed to see an ACTUAL vampire in her home. And she was very impressed to see him handling his hunger. So she and her family had promised to keep him safe and make sure no one knows about his whereabouts.

It has been a year that Diana’s new friend stayed with her family and that he was VERY grateful to them. Even grateful to have her keeping him company. The girl had always wondered what it’s like to have a Vampire as a friend. And because they’re friendship had grown so big. That friendship had turned into something MORE. And then, they started to fall in love. Her mother and her siblings felt so happy for them but her father hesitated a bit to hear this news. But with Diana’s reassurance to trust Antone, the father had decided to give them his blessings.

One evening, Antone had decided to go back to the London city to find his father. Diana understands and lets him go as she will wait for him here in her farm. And hearing Antone promising her in the hand of marriage once he comes back had fluttered her heart. As their lips pressed each other before his departure, she started to wait for him day after day. Until she had met some men who had come over and questioned her parents about this man who had recently passed by. Diana had a bad feeling about these men, even her father felt the same as well so he lied to them that there was no man but them who came by. And that’s when they decided to leave them be. Thinking that it’s alright now.

Until around midnight, Diana had heard something had crashed into the house. She also heard her mother screaming. Diana had darted out of her room before getting caught by one of the strange silhouette people. Pinning her down and seeing her father has been tied up and beaten down. Demanding him to tell them where this vampire is. She also saw her mother lying on the floor as she was knocked out. Her two younger siblings were crying as they tried to wake up their mother. Diana was in anger as she yelled at these people to let them go and started to tear up as they beat her father down to a pulp. She knows that her father can’t tell them and neither would she. That is when these strange people had decided to END them. Stabbing them, letting them bleed to death and setting their house on fire while leaving them to be BURNED alive. And Diana thought that this was the end. Feeling so guilty to leave her lover behind. But fate has changed for she had survived. How? Is because of Antone. He had saved her from getting burned. He also had turned her into a vampire who liked him. He also explained to her that he tried to save her family but it was too late. Diana was upset and angry to hear this but she calmed down and lived with her lover inside the city of London.

For only a year or two, Diana had lost Antone because one of the Priwen Guards had discovered his identity that one night and had killed him. It angered Diana even more that she wanted to take revenge. But she knows that there will be too many guards for her to take down. So she planned to join their little club and only killed one who had murdered her family and lover. And the rest of her story…has continued one with this journey.

8. Cosmic Love - Florence + the Machine

Really any ship that could become dark. Obviously the first to come to mind is Karina Lantsov and her relationship with Mal, Alina and Aleksander bc Aleksander would LOVE to drag all three into the darkness with him. But also some of my AUs for Eleanor Winters, especially the ones involving Lycan!Chris and alive Wesker (which totally does not turn into Eleanor x Chris x Wesker bc what am I if not predictable). For OCs themselves, likely Ashley Williams and Octavis Octavius. In TLoU P2, Ashley kinda goes off the rails at Joel's death (though I go back and forth between killing him and not). And Octavius, there's the whole anti-heroine Madame Octopus thing.

18. Meet Me in the Woods - Lord Huron

ELEANOR. In fact, I should double check if I've added this to her playlist yet. The lyrics just scream the aftermath of House of the Rising Sun/All Things End. Goes with Ethan to figure what wtf is going on with Mia, gets (unknowingly) killed and turned into a B.O.W, goes through hell, meets and eventually falls in love with Chris only to get betrayed bc of Mother Miranda bullshit... should probably change this to be her them song tbh.

28. Ain't No Grave - Crooked Still

This is on my Ashley Williams playlist and fits her perfectly, because nothing will keep her from her loved ones (Ellie and later Joel). She grew up doing all sorts of questionable things just for Ellie; she's even willing for a good chunk of the journey to throw Joel to infected or groups if it'll buy Ellie time to escape and live.

38. Setting Sun - Lord Huron

Funny, as much as I adore this song, it's hard to apply it to an OC or ship without diving into massive AU territory. The Darkling I can see being like this, but Karina is a Malarklina ship so kinda not at the same time since he considers all three his? Same thing could apply to an AU involving Eleanor x Chris x Wesker or Lyall x Diana or even Luke x Jana. Pretty much add unhinged possessive behavior in a dark au to an oc or ship and you get this song, haha.

Romantically, Eleanor x Chris. Platonically... a lot. Eleanor & Ethan, Ashley & Ellie & Joel, Nelda & Eragon and Nelda & Murtagh.

68. Pompeii- Bastille

Eleanor Winters, Sidney and Donna Riley-Weathers, Maureen Prescott, Nelda (to a lesser extent when you factor in events from Murtagh). 'Does it almost feel like nothings changed at all?' And for all of them, in some way, that's true. Eleanor gets dragged back into facing off B.O.W.s in Romania; Sidney, Donna and Maureen all deal with Ghostface and being legacies of og Woodsboro survivors (and as the child of Sidney and Billy in Maureen's case). It's heavily hinted at in Murtagh that there's shaping up to be a new big bad that might have been behind Galbatorix and whatnot in Murtagh, so Nelda is going from one war to another, basically.

78. Seven Devils - Florence + the Machine

Even though it's on my Eleanor playlist, it could also fit Ashley, because of the lengths she's willing to go for the few people she cares about.

88. Gasoline - Halsey

Too many, tbh. Obviously it's added to my Eleanor Winters and Ashley Williams playlists but it also applies to my DBH OCs Fred and Christi bc of the lyrics 'I think there's a flaw in my code' bc you know, they become deviants and all.

98. In Dreams - Ben Howard

I have no idea. Mind immediately goes to Eleanor but also not quite because she does get a happy-ish ending with Chris even though she does lose Ethan. In a way it also kinda reminds me of Ashley. 'I may be troubled but I'm gracious in defeat'; she's okay with who she becomes and what she has to do for Ellie and later Joel. Idk this was honestly hard.
