Just a silly thing I thought would be fun. Buffy the Vampire Slayer as a game in the style of Persona 3|4|5. You are the mysterious transfer student, moving to Sunnydale after getting kicked out of your old school for setting the gym on fire. All you want to do is go to class, make new friends, and live a normal high school life. The idea came from the combination of that post "The last TV show is now a crossover with the last video game you played." and a Buffy-themed tarot deck I didn't agree with some of the choices on. The major arcana is the Fool's Journey. The main character starts as The Fool and ends as The World. This would be Buffy. In the Persona games, your team is usually what ranks up your Fool arcana, so I put that there. The second video is who I think fits best for each arcana. I used two sources to help fit characters to arcana. The Fool’s Journey and Persona: Every Arcana In The Series I struggled a bit with Xander as he isn't really magically inclined but Magicians often tend to be the male best friend and Yosuke reminded me of him a lot. Plus he fits well as the masculine counterpart to Willow as the High Priestess. Angel's arcana is not anything about shipping, but his placement initially in the story. Spike seemed to fit Chariot so well, especially looking at his season three episode. There are only twenty free cards excluding the first and last, and way more characters than that, so I tried to mostly place major characters or recurring characters. I made a list for Angel characters, so anyone who is only in that series would be sorted there. All of the dialogue in the second video was taken from Welcome to the Hellmouth where Buffy and Giles first meet. A few notes on the art and the display. I wanted everything to have the style of Persona, so I reskinned the S. Links page and the dialogue to fit more with a Buffy theme. The pink-purple color I used was from a Buffy game and I thought it added that girly touch. The dialogue box was styled after Persona 4 but thought making it kind of an old book texture would work. I liked the way the date in Persona 5 is, so I went with that style, a more Buffy font, and that pink-purple color. I'm not really a UI designer, so it's not the best. This also isn't really an art style I typically draw in, so it's not as good as it could be. I generally draw more chibi and some of that crept in while I was trying to do a more Persona style. I'm not really happy with the expressions, but I'm sure a better artist could make a much better version. The background is an image of the library with a filter, it kind of fits how P3P shows their dialogue. The videos don't have audio as trying to get voice-over and sound effects to work is not something I'm great at. These are two of my favorite series and I think they have some similar themes. I hope people like this silly thing I made. This was just a fun project to combine things I like and practice drawing in a different style.

2023 recap!
Can't belive the year is over! Time to look back cause I sure don't remember half the stuff I've done
January
Birb got 10 notes and I couldn't believe how much people loved him.
I tried a crochet kit and was defeated. In my defense I have to say it was right after an exam and it was really cold.
I got a watercolor set and rediscovered my love for watercolor
February
Discovered Funguary, and made 4 charactes. It's a really fun challenge that I'm surely going to participate again.
I made quite a few watercolor pieces, I still like them all a lot
March
Don't know how, but I finished the 100 head challenge. There are some awful monstruosities, but I learned a lot. I'll probably do it again in the future, it's a pretty nice exercise.
I finally made a sona! And this one has stuck! I love my lil shadow creature.
April
Made what is probably the watercolor piece I love the most. And one the pieces I like the most overall.
I got FlipaClip and had a lot fun making some little animations. Someone even used one of the lil gifs! That made me pretty happy
I personalized a little notebook to carry around, and it was the best desition of my life. I love that thing. And it's amazing that I don't have to search for the pen, it's all together!
May
The coin pouch is also one of the best things I've made. The strings are a bit long and the embroidery is a bit loose, I'll fix those on the next one I make (looking at you, squid pouch)
The anual redraw of Coral and Sebastian couldn't be missing. The poor Sebastian finally got his (I hope) final design. I was in love with how it looks, but looking it now... What hapened to their faces?
Decided to redraw some old drawings I had on Ibis. The progress I've made since I drew the originals.
Mermay, of course! Somehow they turned into oficial ocs. I love the stupid trio.
June
Aaaaaaahhhhh!!!! It's almost July and I haven't updated my ArtFight references! "Chibi" versions it is. At least now a lot of them have colored full body references.
Painted a box! It's now buried under too many trinkets I have to clean up, but I still love how pretty it looks!
Started a new sketchbook and painted the cover. I love the mushroom lantern.
Made this year's Artfight gif, banner and artfighters. The silly gif brings me a smile every time I see it.
July
ArtFight! 42 attacks and 21 defenses. I have no idea how I managed to make so many. I did get burned out on the second half of the month tho. I absolutely love every single art I received, but this one with Coral and Sebastian has a special place.
What do you do when you are burned out? You make a new style, of course! I love the simple style that came out of that. Feels weird to see that is fairly recent, I feel like I've been using it for ages. It has evolved a bit since, those thin lines in the eyes look weird now.
August
Nuclear Waste was born. And people went crazy. The silly boy loves and appreciates all the affection you've showered him!
Smaugust is a thing? Dragons! I still need so much prectice with them and animals in general.
I made a comic! I love it, it's so silly. I had a great time with it.
September
Pirate shirt! It fits a bit weird, but I think I can fix it. It took soooo long to hand sew it
I got a drawing tablet! Took me a couple of weeks to get used to, but it was worth it. I love using it.
To practice I made every single prompt of CuteGirltober. The only reason I was able to finish is that most of them were left as sketches. Should have learned from ArtFight, I can't draw every day, that's too much.
November
I made a font! It works really well, and it's so fun to type something and see it look like you handwrote it.
Got to write a bit too. I need to do that more.
I also worked on some proyects I've been wanting to do but haven't touched in a long while.
Including bookbinding a little notebook! I filled it with headshots of my ocs.
December
ArticFight prompts and a secret santa were mostly the reasons I drew. I love this one with Alex and Layla.
I also made some free adoptables. There might be some left when this is posted.
And we are done with the year!
That was so much! Thank you everyone, hope you had a good year and an even better 2024!

I haven't used my Moho Animation software in a bit. I should change that in the new year.
A character is facing left or right most of the time. Drawing things close to symmetrical on a straight shot is surprisingly irritating for me. xD;
Anything magical. A lot of the tv shows I watched growing up played into the magical systems I have today. I also roleplayed online a lot so the characters from those days are still being used!
Dresses in general. The beauty usually comes from the details and my hands like to cramp up just at the sight of all the embellishes. I don't have super complicated character designs...yet.Probably due to my animation background.
I think for every 10 sketches I draw, I'd render like 3 and maybe one of those gets to see the light of day relatively immediately. The other two eventually. The remaining seven, it's a hit or miss. xD;
Animals. I try to do abstract art or doodles and they end up looking like an animal. Maybe. I don't think I answered this question correctly. owo
Gauche and oil painting! I wish I had the funds and resources to do oil painting. It was fun to do in high school;;;
Rewriting stories from my elementary school writing competitions. I might revisit the ideas in the future, but I've gotten so many new ideas that interest me more that I don't really have much of a need to rewrite. I do like reading the old stories though.
[subject matter]-[stage of product i.e sketch; lineart; flats; public viewing; print] Depending on file size I'll have more or less iterations of a project. At some point I need to start merging layers because my art program slows down and starts crashing :')
Haven't really thought about it. Probably suit vests. haha
Mostly anything. o-o I have Youtube playlists of anime/jpop, a mix of pop, rock, ska, youtuber songs, and on spotify I'd listen to soundtracks to movies, shows, and musicals. Sometimes I listen to silence. I used to watch shows while I drew but it was hard to keep it to background noise.
Ears. I've been liking to draw hands though because they're so expressive.
I don't really know what this means. I'm usually admiring people for their work. If I don't want their content in my life, then what's the point? xD;
Screaming characters.
Usually at home...in class for sketches.
Chibi characters, I think. I have to space them out else I get burnt out and bored.
Sometimes. Fruit or something I can pop into my mouth and not get my hands too dirty. I try to avoid anything that splashes because I usually start my drawings traditionally.
I haven't really broken any supplies in recent memory.
Books. owo
Hands I guess. Maybe fabrics.
Pixel art!
I'm not great at pre art warm up exercises
Sometimes. Luminosity, overlay, soft and hard light tend to be my main ones, but I play with the others for effects
Ye
Another artist that seemed to have a similar art style, but couldn't be me since I haven't been to any of the events people mentioned.
I have a couple pieces, but I'm blanking right now.
Not usually. Recently I've been doing graffiti art, but I usually just jump right into the project of the hour.
Only conventions
I think every media inspires me to some degree.
My OCs u.u But I don't do a great job hyping them up, so I need to start there.
Weirdly Specific Artist Ask Game
Didn’t see a lot of artist ask games, wanted to make a silly one.
(I wrote this while sick out of my mind last year and it’s been collecting dust in my drafts, I might as well let it run free) 1. Art programs you have but don’t use
2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)
3. What ideas come from when you were little
4. Fav character/subject that’s a bitch to draw
5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself
6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously (i.e. this horse wasn’t supposed to look like the Last Unicorn but I see it)
7. A medium of art you don’t work in but appreciate
8. What’s an old project idea that you’ve lost interest in
9. What are your file name conventions
10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw
11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what
12. Easiest part of body to draw
13. A creator who you admire but whose work isn’t your thing
14. Any favorite motifs
15. *Where* do you draw (don’t drop your ip address this just means do you doodle at a park or smth)
16. Something you are good at but don’t really have fun doing
17. Do you eat/drink when drawing? if so, what
18. An estimate of how much art supplies you’ve broken
19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)
20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy
21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways
22. What physical exercises do you do before drawing, if any
23. Do you use different layer modes
24. Do your references include stock images
25. Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by
26. What’s a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended
27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with
28. Any art events you have participated in the past (like zines)
29. Media you love, but doesn’t inspire you artistically
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated

Hi- we're aware that you've been tagging us, however I'm not comfortable reblogging your posts when you're using inaccurate and harmful depictions of Hunk in your promo. Hunk has fat on him, has a round, soft face. None of these features are present in your promo artwork; in fact he looks like Shiro but coloured in like Hunk. I'd like to kindly ask if you could please update your post with an accurate depiction of Hunk. (QuiznakChronicle Mod Pidge)
Dear Sedna,
Our sign ups opened on February 13th, almost a month ago. In that time, we’ve received asks from a few different sources.... An anon, and two anti-shippers. You can understand why we did not respond to those asks, especially given that the anon was very rude. We’re sure you know how hard it is to receive the same asks every time when they seem so ill-intentioned.
However, here is our stance on the art: The art is by a participant, and was offered to us by somebody excited to share their work. Hunk in the art in question is visibly older, a little more built than in canon, but still very much a big person. To call him skinny is blatantly disrespectful and well - incorrect! Could he be fatter? Yes. Is the artist in question constantly working on drawing chub, partially out of love for Hunk - yes. Her statement can be found here: https://caihonghoshi.tumblr.com/post/171739121928/these-are-all-pro-wrestlers-that-i-base-hunks And we certainly haven’t disregarded the asks. We’ve actually gone out of our way to ask people in discords (and especially in the event’s discord) and whatnot on their opinions and mostly got “...Maybe? If you squint?” So, therefore, we have found the art well within the bounds of good taste and artistic liberty.
My question is, do you approach every event that uses fanart with the same questions? No doubt it could be raised that the Sheith Bouquet’s art seems to show Shiro with eyeliner rather than a monolid, since it’s in a chibi style; or the art for the Allura Reverse Bang seems to have Allura’s hair be oddly straight or her skin fairly light considering she is a black woman. (To clarify; we don’t think either of these are genuine complaints; but it requires about the same amount of stretching you’re currently doing.) Those events have been featured on your blog just fine. In fact, according to your mission statement in your about, and the answer you did on an ask you received some time ago:
This is not an anti-run event. It’s a ship inclusive event centered on a character - much like the Shiro Big Bang, Lance Flash Bang and Keith Big Bang, all of which have gotten plenty of coverage by QC. It’s not fair to change rules depending on what events are concerned (or, as we are starting to believe, what moderators are involved.)
This mission statement is entirely at odds with your ask, which comes two days before the end of signups. In fact, this mission statement comes after an earlier debacle where a mod had to contact a QC mod by DM to ask why we hadn’t yet been featured, only to be told, completely out of the blue, that we were being punished due to other people asking about it. We were also told by the mod in question that the people asking had all been on anon, which we later discovered was untrue; nearly all of them spoke to us later and said that they had not used anon and had never received private responses, either. Having this occur to us twice - never mind the treatment of one of our mods in several events run by QC mods and their friends - is stretching credibility that this ask is in good faith, especially since lightning never strikes twice in the same place.
IN ADDITION, it hasn’t gone unnoticed that while a certain amount of wait time is reasonable for a blog your size, events run by your moderators or the friends of your moderators never seem to run into this problem. Waiting until the final day to instruct us to find new art - to replace art of one of our participants for an issue that wasn’t apparently big enough for a moderator to actually mention to us - is manipulative and hypocritical. Either antis are the only ones you exclude, or they’re not; putting us in an impossible position when we just so happen to be an event that overlaps with one of your admins’ events is ridiculous.
So no, we will not be changing our art. We have used a diversity of art in our countdown and announcement posts, interspersed with edits. None of them have made Hunk skinny, and to accuse them of doing so is realistically no better than deciding that a 3-6 year age gap is pedophilia. If you would like to continue pretending that this is about fatphobia (even when 3 of the mods deal with fatphobia on a daily basis, with consequences on our health), you’re free to; but I suggest, if you love Hunk so much, letting us continue to promote an event that is one of the only gen-focused, Hunk-centric events in this fandom.
Or you can sink the event, and highly reduce your chances of getting more art of him in the first place since you’ve just told every artist out there that they’re not allowed to even try, and that your blog has now become a chamber of validation of “good” things and not a neutral list of events going on in the fandom. But honestly? We’re not going to let you.
-Alta, Elliott, Miki and Lyri
