#my nano project is terrifying which is why i'm leaving it for february

okay i went through all my wips and here are the active ones that i’m working on in january -- trying my best not to give away any details here because i like leaving things a mystery

i will probably (read: definitely) regret this later, but i’m doing milwordy this year, so i’m hoping that will help me knock more wips off my list

jjba:

hanahaki oneshot: i’m about halfway done with this one. currently 3k, and i estimate it’ll be somewhere around 4-5k when it’s done. i’m pretty happy with what i have so far, so i don’t anticipate the need for much editing

multichapter fic: i have a love hate relationship with this fic. i think i’ve been working on it on and off since...last april? the first draft is done, but it’s currently going through a rewrite, and i anticipate maybe 2-3 more drafts might be needed until i’m fully happy with it. it’s currently around 35k, but i’m thinking that number will go up to 45-50k. conceptually (and thematically) this one’s a fun one though. we got giomis, jonadio, some (read: a lot of) greek mythology, and a whole lot of fight scenes + family bonding

miraculous ladybug:

multichapter fic: this fic....i am so excited about it even though i know that it will only appeal to me. first draft is done, i’m currently in the process of the second draft and it’s about 15-20k words. i wrote this fic in november after finishing up my main nano project (which is also an ml fic and i will probably start editing it next month) but it’s literally been living in my brain rent free since then. we got some absolutely fucked up love square dynamics in this one: adrienette but it’s marichat, ladynoir but it’s adrienette, and ladrien but it’s also adrienette
