Got an excuse to listen to Amy Spanger in Kiss Me Kate thanks to my musical choir and this is such a Sally song. I considered her singing this to Jimmy, or even Mae, then decided she's singing this to Paul, hence her singing in French at the end (even though it's actually because of the Paris hat lyric)
