A/N 2: it’s like riding a bike... writing will come back, right?
Masterlist
“We need to figure out a plan where we can all be safe. This isn’t gonna work if you can’t focus,” Scott was getting slightly, frustrated, sitting next to you while he put his hands in his head.
“Oh, come on, you have to admit this is a little funny,” you were holding back your laughter, seeing a look of anger on Derek’s face, and a look of annoyment on everyone else’s.
“How is this funny, (Y/N)?!” Stiles exclaimed.
“It’s hysterical because some dumbass bozo decided that a group of teenagers is the biggest threat in Beacon Hills!” you let out a small snicker, seeing Derek roll his eyes.
Stiles turned Lydia’s laptop screen to you, showing your name.
(Y/N) (Y/L/N) 35
No one on the entire Deadpool was nearly as much as you, your alpha was 15 million less than you.
“That’s even funnier! Scott, my powers are a joke compared to yours! Besides, if we’re so high up, do you really think any idiot would actually come after us? We’re powerful, we’re a werewolf pack with a true alpha, a banshee, a kitsune, a were-coyote, and a witch! I can’t even control my powers, we’re all dangerous,” you scoffed, leaning back into the chair.
You saw Derek huff as he stood up, pushing off the couch with force before walking to you, holding your wrist tightly.
You could feel slight pain, ignoring it.
“Did I do something to upset your royal highness?” you gasped dramatically, feeling his grip on your wrist tighten.
You saw Scott stand up, tense, from the side of your eye while your head hit the wall behind you.
“Oh, are you about to kiss me?” you asked, a small smirk on your face.
“You’re not fucking indestructible. We are all in danger, you were all trapped in the school and almost died, you think this is the time to dick around? That this is the time for jokes?! We’re all in danger, these hunters are ruthless,” you saw his eyes glow blue, feeling your throat tighten before you ignored it.
It’s okay
“Every single threat we’ve ever faced, we’ve gotten over. We are good at this, hunters are shitty. Why not add a little humor while we’re at it?” you replied.
“Satomi’s pack is dead! You still think we can get over this?! They’ve been alive for decades!” he yelled.
“Derek, stop-” Scott started.
“They never learn. They never listen. We are in danger, (Y/N). When we find your body, when your name is crossed out on that fucking list, maybe then you’ll learn your lesson. Maybe you could stop being so fucking cocky and arrogant. When you’re dead,” you felt your heart drop, trying to keep calm before you pulled away from Derek.
“Just because your life is fucked doesn’t mean you have to take it out on everyone else,” you saw Derek clench his fist, while Scott quickly pulled you away, just in time as Derek’s fist collided with the wall behind you,
“That’s enough, both of you. We’re not going to find (Y/N)’s body like that, we’re all going to get through this, we just need a plan. (Y/N), we need to be serious,” Scott started.
“Serious as Sirius Black?” you said.
Derek glared at you before Stiles groaned audibly.
“You know what? Maybe it’s time to take a break and go home. We’ll talk about this in the morning,” Lydia said.
Stiles nodded his head in agreement, while Derek’s tense figure softened slightly.
“I agree with Lydia. It’s time for all of us to go home,” you gave a smile and wave to the pack before making your way to the door.
Scott pulled you aside before you entered your car.
“Hey, Scotty,” you smiled.
“(Y/N), look. I know this world is terrible, I know how you think up there. But you need to tone it down. We just need you to be serious for five minutes. Meet me in the middle here, what if one of us isn’t here next time Derek decides he wants to punch your face?” you could hear a worried tone in Scott’s voice.
“Well, we just pray that I’m never alone with the sourwolf,” you sat in your car while Scott sighed.
“Fine. I get what you’re saying. I’ll tone it down,” he nodded his head, thanking you before making his way to his motorcycle.
---
You yawned softly, turning on the lights as you dropped your bag to the floor.
“Hey, I’m home,” you called out to your siblings, getting silence as a response.
“Don’t pretend to be asleep. Get your asses down here!” you said.
You walked to the kitchen, seeing the dishes left all over the place, including some broken glass left on the floor.
You began to feel nervousness in your chest before you made your way up the stairs.
“Hey, Olivia, Liam? Is anyone here?” you opened their room doors, your heart stopping. They weren't there, they were nowhere in sight.
Both of your siblings knew and listened to your rules no matter what, it was a side effect of paranoia after your parents died. You made all the rules, they listened no matter what.
You felt your throat tighten, dialing your sister’s number, then your brother’s. They both went to voicemail.
You ran down the stairs, running your fingers through your hair as a small whimper escaped your lips. Your vision blurred as tears flooded your eyes. You wiped them away, taking shaky breaths before calling Scott.
The call went to voicemail, but he sent a text back.
You gathered your belongings once again, running out of your house.
---
Your breathing was shaky, you ran out of your car as you rushed up the stairs, about to enter the loft before you heard Derek yelling at Scott.
“They're going to die, I don’t know why we’re pretending (Y/N)'s not going to. They’re arrogant, they're cocky, they can’t stay serious for longer than two minutes-” you put your hand over your mouth to hold back your cries.
“(Y/N) has a different way of coping, that’s all this is. Their parents died, they have to take care of their siblings, they try to take care of all of us. I say let them be,” Scott replied.
“No. I want them out of the pack, all they are is a burden at this point.”
You’re wasting time, (Y/N)
You couldn't bring yourself to open the door, to ask Scott for help. Not right now, at least.
You found yourself running out of the loft, instantly freezing as you were met with the barrel of a gun.
Your eyes widened, putting your hands up as you froze.
“Get in the car,” his voice sounded calm, while your eyes glowed purple.
“If you try anything on me, you can say goodbye to both of your siblings,” you felt a shiver up your bones as you clenched your jaw.
“Olivia and Liam, was it? Oh, you should've heard them crying for you, it was pathetic,” he scoffed.
“They’re children-”
“And they’ll have a chance to live if you come with me right now,” you felt a tear slip down your face, nodding softly.
You walked in front of him, keeping your hands up as your heart began to race in your chest, sitting in the van before the man handcuffed your wrists.
---
Your bruises covered the majority of your body, you sat alone at the Sheriff’s Station. Your hands were shaking, you tried to keep your focus off the events from the past two weeks.
You instantly remembered the events from last year, sitting in this exact position, at this exact place.
“No, I-I didn't see them come in,” your throat tightened, you looked down while Sheriff Stilinski stood in front of you.
“So how did you know something happened?” he asked softly.
“I was… I was doing my homework, I heard this pound bang. I-I thought my siblings were playing but then-” your voice wavered as you stopped yourself, holding back your tears.
“I heard crying, and now…”
You closed your eyes at the memory, letting out a shaky breath.
“(Y/N), we need to know what happened,” Noah asked softly.
He leaned down in front of you, your entire body remained tense.
“I can’t talk about this right now,” your voice broke.
You could see the surprised look on Stilinski’s face, you weren't much of a person to be serious, as the pack was familiar with.
You were the jokester, the class clown. The dead weight. You soon found out that if you focused on the humor in every situation, your mind would be too preoccupied to think about the pain. But there wasn't any humor in this, only your stupidity.
If you listened to Scott, your siblings would be alive. If you were serious for 5 minutes, you could have helped the pack come up with a plan.
But now you sat alone at the Beacon Hills Department.
“Stiles is almost here. How do you feel about staying with us for a while?” he asked softly.
Sheriff Stilinski always treated you like his kid, always taking care of you. He knew that you would feel bad, returning to your house all alone.
You nodded softly, while he nodded, giving you a small smile.
“Is there anything important that I need to know?” Stilinski asked softly.
You could see your hands shaking, while you clenched your jaw.
“I don't know what they did… I-I don't have my powers anymore,” you tried to keep your voice strong before his face fell, wrapping his arms around you.
“I’m so sorry, (Y/N). I promise you that we’ll find them and make them pay.”
“(Y/N)?” you saw Stiles walk into the station, Scott following close behind.
The two of them ran to you, wrapping their arms around you tightly. You held back your cries, burying your face in Stiles’ neck before taking a deep breath.
“Hey, let’s go?” Scott asked softly.
You nodded, while Scott held your hand, beginning to take your pain.
“It’s fine,” you pulled away from him.
He paused for a second, before nodding softly.
Stiles gave a look to Scott before the three of you walked out of the station.
---
“Do you have any ideas?” you looked up at Scott talking to you, seeing the rest of the pack giving you a look.
“There isn’t anything we can do. We just need to be able to defend ourselves,” you explained quietly.
“Lydia, have you figured out how to shut down the…”
Your mind drifted from the conversation, you remained quiet and curled up on the couch. Stiles sat next to you. The entire pack kept their eyes on you, you know they pitied you. Even Derek remained silent about your actions, the two of you haven't fought all week.
“So then one of us can stay here and defend you-” Stiles started.
“I don't need anyone to defend me-” the two of them began to argue briefly before Scott sighed, stopping them.
“(Y/N), can you stay here with Derek?” Scott asked softly.
No, I hate him, he hates me
You found yourself nodding before you cleared your throat to speak.
“Yeah, that’s fine. We’ll see you tomorrow,” Stiles pressed a small kiss to your forehead before he and Scott left.
You turned to face Derek, seeing a tensed look on his face.
“I can show you to the extra room,” he said softly while you nodded.
---
You kept to yourself mainly, keeping your focus on your work. Derek would even forget that you were there. He would occasionally try to talk to you, you were surprised to hear him cracking a joke.
You had grown slightly annoyed, you knew he felt guilty. There was never a time he didn't make you feel bad about being happy or making jokes.
You held a gun in your hand, something that you weren't used to yet. With Derek losing his power, he was unable to defend himself, you had yet to tell the pack about you losing your powers.
You sighed, resting your head on your hand.
“Hey,” you clenched your jaw, hearing Derek’s voice as he approached you.
“This is kinda funny, you know. You having to protect me like this,” you tried to keep your focus off Derek, feeling your throat tighten in anger slightly.
“Hey,” you sighed deeply, looking up at Derek.
“I’m really sorry-”
“Shut up,” you clenched your jaw. Derek had a slight look of surprise on his face.
“I’m sorry, I-”
“Stop,” you shook your head.
“(Y/N)-”
“We were never friends. Why are you trying to be nice all of a sudden?” you stood up in front of him.
“I just want to see you happy again,” he said softly.
“Are you fucking joking?” you scoffed.
He stayed quiet, giving you a soft look while you crossed your arms.
“You’ve always made me feel bad about having a smile on my face, for trying to be happy. Isn’t this what you fucking wanted?!” you raised your voice, while he clenched his jaw.
“This isn’t what I wanted to happen-”
“No! They murdered both of my siblings in front of me, they took my powers. What the fuck did you think was going to happen?” you shouted at him, feeling your heart race.
“Your powers? (Y/N)...”
“Yeah, you’d rather you just found my body, right?! When my name is crossed off on that fucking list, so then maybe I can learn my lesson, right?!” you yelled.
“That’s not what I meant, (Y/N)-”
“Why? Because you’d rather kill me yourself?! You could’ve done it the other day, when you tried to punch me, if Scott hadn’t stopped you,” your eyes watered as your voice wavered slightly.
“(Y/N)-”
“I heard you telling Scott about how you wanted me out of the pack! How I’m a big fucking burden! So, please stop pitying me and just leave me the fuck alone!” you yelled.
“I know how you feel, (Y/N). My family’s dead too, (Y/N),” he said softly.
“You wanna compare?! Did someone murder your parents? While you were in the fucking house, too dumb to realize until it was too late?! Have you been taking care of your younger siblings for a year, a-and because you can’t do anything right, they get kidnapped and you watch them die. I can hear their voices, Derek. They were screaming, they cried for me to save them and I couldn’t do anything. Don’t pretend you know what I’m going through, what this feels like because you don’t. None of you understand,” more tears fell from your eyes as you continued to yell at Derek before you ran your fingers through your hair, letting out a shaky breath.
You let out a small cry, putting your hand over your mouth to stop yourself.
Derek wrapped his arms around you tightly, taking you by surprise.
But you didn’t care. You were in too much pain to care. You were too tired to care.
He stroked your cheek softly, holding you tightly as he rested his head on top of yours.
“You’re right, I don’t know how you feel. I never will. That doesn’t mean that I’ll let you go through this alone,” your chest was aching as you scrunched your eyes tightly, a small cry escaping your lips.
“Out of all of us, I’m the closest to understand how you feel, how to lose your entire family, and feeling like it’s all your fault. But, it’s not, (Y/N),” you buried your face in his neck as he continued to caress your back, pressing his lips to your forehead.
“And I’m sorry that I was such a dick. I never hated you, I could never hate you. I was just jealous,” he said softly.
You looked up at him while he stroked your cheeks, wiping away your tears.
“If you can find it in your heart to forgive me, I promise I’ll never screw it up, and I promise that I’ll never hurt you,” you nodded as he pressed his lips to your forehead once again.
“It’s getting late, we should probably go to sleep soon,” he said softly.
“I can’t fall asleep,” you sighed.
“Then I’ll help you,” he nodded.
He walked you to his bed, laying down next to you before wrapping his arms around you once again.
“You’re safe, I promise,” you nodded softly, closing your eyes.
He continued to hold you, listening to your heart rate and breathing before making sure you were asleep. He sat up on his elbow, looking down to face you. Your face was covered in dry tears and snot, he could see your pain while he sighed softly.
“You’re safe now,” he muttered softly.
He turned off the lights, before laying back on the bed, falling asleep next to you.

Jackson’s Pack (Jackson Whittemore)
Unfinished original character story.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The two black SUV’s pulled into the long winding driveway. The large log cabin sat on top of a huge hill. The drive down the winding road felt like it took forever. Stiles put down the map and looked over to Derek. He couldn’t believe that they were here. That they were having to pull their old friend into their mess once again.
“Are you sure we are at the right spot?” Stiles asked.
“This was the address that Ethan had given Danny before the twins left.” Derek replied.
“You don’t think he’ll turn us away do you?” Scott asked.
“He’s our friend, Scott.” Lydia reminded him.
“Used to be friends. When was the last time we talked to the kid?” Stiles asked her.
Lydia sat back with a huff. Allison rubbed her arm. The SUV’s came to a stop. Thunder boomed in the distance. They sat there staring at the cabin unsure of the reaction from their old friend. Derek started to unbuckle to exit the car. The pack froze as three people came sprinting out of the woods. Rain cascaded down their faces as they were smiling and laughing. When lightning flashed they finally noticed the two vehicles sitting in the driveway. The three young teens came to a halt when they noticed the vehicles. The front door opened and somebody yelled for the kids to go inside.
The girl was on the shorter side. She had long brown hair that was braided to the side. Black leggings stretched across her short legs. The three teens didn’t hesitate. They ran past the vehicles and up the porch. Derek noticed how each one of them touched the girl softly to him it looked like they were calming her. Stiles appreciated the purple Avengers shirt she was representing. Keeping her eyes on the mysterious vehicles, the girl called for somebody to come outside.
“That’s our cue.” Derek said.
Derek stepped out first. Everyone else followed their Alpha’s cue and climbed out as well. The familiar blonde haired, rich boy came to join the brunette on the porch. Jackson stepped instinctively in front of the girl. She let out a small snarl before moving to stand next to him.
“Hey Jackson.” Lydia greeted the boy.
“Hey.” Jackson replied simply.
“Jackson,” The brunette whispered next to him when she noticed his tone of voice.
Rustling to their right had everyone looking over as two more teens burst from the woods laughing. The tall dark haired boy wiped the rain from his face as the blonde shouldered him. Their voices were excited as they talked about their latest shift. They stopped when they saw their Alpha glaring at the pack before them.
“Woah, what’s going on?” The black haired kid asked.
“Brett. Theo. House now.” The brunette growled.
“But Em,” Theo argued.
“She gave you an order, Theo.” Jackson snapped, flashing his red eyes.
“Yes, sir.” Theo sighed.
The boys rushed past the other pack and up on the porch. Brett pressed a kiss to Em’s cheek and Theo kissed her temple before chasing the other boy inside.
“You’re an Alpha now?” Danny asked.
“A lot has happened over the years.” Jackson replied.
“Yeah the same for us.” Isaac added.
“What can I do for you?” Jackson asked.
“We need your help, Jackson.” Lydia spoke up.
“Things have changed since the last time we’ve seen each other. I’m an Alpha now. I have a pack, a mate, pups, and responsibilities. I don’t help just anyone anymore. My pack comes first.” Jackson explained.
“From one Alpha to another I understand where you’re coming from. We wouldn’t be here Jackson if we had any other options.” Derek told the younger Alpha.
Jackson looked back to the girl standing behind him. With hushed tones they whispered back and forth for several seconds. Her eyes lit a bright purple, Jackson snarled at her, his eyes flashing red at her in return, but it was Jackson who broke first. The girl's eyes settled back down to her deep brown ones as Jackson turned back towards Derek and his pack.
“There’s a large pole barn out back that we use to host other packs. I’ll gather my pack and we’ll meet you out there.” Jackson said.
“Thank you Jackson.” Derek said.
Jackson nodded, grabbed the brunette’s hand and led her back inside. Derek turned to look at his pack.
“I thought that he would have been a little more opened.” Danny stated.
“It’s been a little over three years since we’ve last seen him.” Lydia pointed out.
The pack followed the trail around the log cabin and to the large pole barn out back. The pole barn was more like another home. It was fully furnished. The loft of the barn had several rooms sectioned off. Below there was a kitchen, a dining room, what looked like an office, and even an entertainment room.
Derek and the rest of the pack had just managed to crowd around half of the table when the barn doors opened. Jackson came in with the brunette to his left, one of the younger teens to his right, and the rest of his pack, including Aiden and Ethan behind him. They came to stand at the other end of the table. Jackson was the one who sat. Everyone else stood rigidly behind him. They were all on edge.
“I’ll introduce you to my pack. This is Emily, my mate, and a jinx. Liam, my beta, and second in command. Jenn, Brett, Mason, and Theo, my other betas. You know Aiden and Ethan and this is Malia a werecoyote.” Jackson introduced.
“You know most of my pack, but there are some fresh faces that you don’t know. My betas Boyd, Erica, Isaac, Scott, and Cora. Jordan our phoenix, Lydia the banshee, Danny, Sheriff, Stiles and Melissa our humans, Chris and Allison our hunters, Peter the omega and Kira our kitsune.” Derek introduced.
“Hunters in a pack?” Jenn asked.
“They won’t hurt you.” Derek said.
“I know them. You all will be safe.” Jackson told his younger betas.
“And they have humans.” Mason whispered.
“Most packs have humans, Mason. Humans are actually play a vital position to the interior of pack dynamics.” Jackson explained.
“Why don’t we have any humans?” Malia asked.
“You know it’s because we’re a new pack. Mom explained that to you.” Liam reminded her.
“Oh yeah.” Malia replied sheepishly.
“Hush now. We have more important things to discuss right now.” Emily interrupted before the younger teens could keep asking questions.
The betas nodded and fell quiet once again.
“What can we do for you and your pack, Derek?” Jackson asked, returning his attention to the other pack.
“We’ve been chased out of Beacon Hills by Kate Argent.” Derek explained.
“That bitch is still running around?” Theo hissed.
Emily reached over placing a calming hand on his shoulder.
“Relax.” Emily told him.
“Sorry, Em.” Theo apologized.
“You know I don’t like that language coming from you guys.” Emily hissed.
“You guys know her?” Allison asked.
“When we first became a pack she tried taking us out. Emily ended up in the hospital for almost two weeks. Malia and Mason almost didn’t bounce back from her attack.” Jackson explained.
“I earned some wicked cool scars though.” Emily stated.
“Which never should have happened.” Jackson growled.
“I wasn’t going to let you die, Jackson.” Emily hissed.
“You need to start listening to my orders.” Jackson snapped.
“I am your equal Jackson, not some wolf that you can snarl at.” Emily snipped.
“You could have died!” Jackson roared.
“You could have died too. Do you really think this pack would have survived without you?” Emily asked him.
“How the hell was I going to raise these kids without you?” Jackson asked her in return.
“A pack needs their Alpha. I’m not a wolf, Jackson. Other packs would have torn us apart without you.” Emily argued.
“These kids need a mother, Emily. There are things in their life that I wouldn’t be able to handle. The pack needs you.” Jackson snapped.
“Mom. Dad. Cool it. Can we save this tiring fight for later?” Liam asked.
Both of them fell silent.
“Yeah and shut up because the pack needs the both of you.” Aiden added.
“Exactly, so save the self-sacrificing bullshit for you foreplay.” Ethan snipped.
Neither Jackson nor Emily said anything else.
“How did you even become an Alpha, Jackson?” Lydia asked to break the tension.
“You kill an Alpha, you become an Alpha.” Jackson replied.
“So you purposefully killed an Alpha?” Danny asked, shocked.
“There’s more to it than that.” Brett interrupted.
“Brett, quiet.” Jackson snarled.
“But they have no right to sit there and judge you for what you did for Emily. For all of us.” Theo growled.
“Right now isn’t the time to get into all of that.” Emily’s calming voice eased the tension among their pack.
“Your mother is right. Drop it for now.” Jackson ordered.
“Dad, I’m only trying to protect you!” Theo exclaimed.
“I understand that Theo and I appreciate it, but let Emily and I handle this.” Jackson said.
“Fine.” Theo sighed.
“What exactly do you need from us?” Jackson asked looking back to the Hale pack.
“I’m sorry, but I have to know. How does your pack know Kate?” Chris asked.
“Just after I moved my pack out here, Kate returned to rendezvous with an old Alpha. She didn’t take the news of his death well and well she took it out on us.” Jackson explained.
“With a new fresh pack you were able to fend her off?” Allison asked.
“I am not somebody you should mess with.” Emily simply answered.
“I’m getting that vibe.” Lydia spoke.
“She hit us hard. All of us walked away with some kind of injuries. If Emily hadn’t come home when she had me and the wolves would have been dead.” Jackson explained.
“Malia, is the newest to our pack. She suffered extreme trauma at a young age and was stuck as a coyote when I found her. We were just coming back from practicing social interactions when Kate attacked the pack.” Emily said.
Thunder cracked shaking the pole barn.
“Mom,” Malia called out in a nervous voice.
“It’s okay Malia it’s just a storm.” Theo said, rubbing her back.
Just then the power went out sending the whole barn into darkness. Jackson swore. Malia let out a small whimper. Theo moved to wrap an arm around her.
“Hang on. Everyone just sit still.” Emily said.
The Hale pack watched with wide eyes as Emily’s hand lit ablaze in a white orb. The orbs shot from her hands surrounding the table. The orbs grew brighter and brighter until the whole dining room was cascaded in light.
“This should work until we can get the generator up and running.” Emily said.
“Mom is the coolest.” Jenn whispered.
Liam and Mason smiled at Jenn.
“Ethan and I will work on the generator.” Aiden said.
“Don’t stay out there too long.” Jackson told them.
“We’ll be back in a few.” Ethan said following his twin out of the barn.
“How exactly did Kate chase you out of your own town?” Brett asked.

To he honest, the back of a closed veterinary clinic wasn’t even on Alec’s Top 10 List of Weird Places to Run A Con From. They didn’t even have to break in (which disappointed Parker) and he could admit his heart lurched when the back door was opened by a somber faced man in a tan sheriff’s uniform.
Nate of course didn’t miss a beat, pulling an obnoxious persona out of thin air. “You’re not Clancy!” He barked, wagging a finger at the sheriff. “Where is that no good son of a pickle? I swear, if he gave me drunk directions again...Cookie! Cookie, didn’t I say he sounded drunk?”
“Oh yeah!” Sophie continued, soft voice gone nasal and sharp. “Lemme call him, maybe he’s sobered up by now….”
The sheriff held up a hand to cut her off. “Very believable, but I know who you are, Mr. Ford. Come in.”
Huh.
That was not at all expected, but the man wasn’t giving off any of the classic ‘Gonna do some arresting tonight’ vibes. His hand wasn’t on his gun and though he had clearly pegged Eliot as the most physically threatening he wasn’t posturing.
The next surprise came when they actually entered the animal clinic and found it packed with teenagers - exhausted looking teenagers - and a handful of adults. Around the room, Alec could see soda cans, pizza boxes and sleeping bags, clear signs that this was being used as a makeshift shelter.
What the hell was happening here?
“Peter,” Nate said, addressing a man of about Eliot’s age with a goatee and lean, handsome features. “You mentioned something about a self styled fascist flooding your town with guns and trying to murder children.”
“Nate,” the man, Peter, replied. “I did and there is indeed a genocidal geriatric running around. Rumors put you running a team of Robin Hoods...I thought there’s be more of you after hearing about San Lorenzo.”
“We’re more than capable as is,” Sophie said with one of her charming, reassuring smiles.
“Spencer.”
The name was spoken by a slim, bearded man in a leather jacket and Alce was shocked to see that Eliot didn’t look annoyed.
“Argent,” Eliot replied, taking a few steps forward and exchanging one of those forearm gripping warrior handshakes with the other man. “What’s happening that you can’t handle?”
Okay, so Eliot respected this guy. Which meant the situation was probably even more dire than anticipated.
Argent sighed. “My father is organizing Hunters who don’t follow the code in an attempt to wipe out every supernatural being in Beacon Hills. He’s arming civilians, feeding their fear and innocents have already died.”
“Also there’s an ancient shapeshifter called and Anuk-Ite running around that enhances fear and hate and breeds violence because that’s its idea of a Country Kitchen Buffet,” a pale, dark haired young man added, making Argent grimace and incline his head in agreement.
Before they could continue, Alec held up a finger. “I’m sorry, Supernatural beings? Hunters? Shape shifters? Are Sam and Dean gonna pop out of the closet next...and that wasn’t a double entendre though Dean and Castile do give me reason to think maybe...Nevermind.”
“That show has a lot of inaccuracies,” a grumpy looking man who could play Superman on a CW show (if he ever was introduced to a razor) muttered.
“Really? That’s the problem you have with...What the hell?!”
Around the room, eyes began to glow, golds, blue and crimson.
“Look, we don’t really have time to ease you into the whole Werewolves exist thing ns for that I’m sorry,” a young Latino with a kind face and those red eyes said. His eyes returned to a warm brown as he continued, “We’re real, we’re in danger and we could use your help.”
Parker jabbed a ginger into Eliot’s ribs. “You knew!” She accused, not sounding nearly freaked out enough.
Actually, Nate and Sophie were taking things in stride too and Eliot merely nodded. “I knew.”
“Right!” Nate said, calling everyone’s attention. “I’m going to need a full briefing on the situation, also names and abilities as I assume most of you won’t sit on the sidelines while we’re working.”
“Scott McCall, I’m an Alpha,” said the handsome Latino kid.
The pretty redhead spoke next. “Lydia Martin, Banshee.”
“Stiles Stilinski, human,” said the fast talker and Hardison glanced at the name badge the Sheriff wore. His kid clearly.
“I’m a werecoyote. Name’s Malia,” a leggy brunette said from where she was glaring at a burly boy.
“Kira Yukimura. Kitsune,” the beautiful Japanese girl in Marvel leggings told them.
The rest of the introductions were just as fast.
“Isaac, werewolf.” The tall blond guy beside “Danny Mahealani, human.”
“Liam Dunbar, werewolf.” Small, younger guy in need of s haircut. Burly was standing near him. “Theo, chimera.”
“I’m Mason, human, and he’s Corey, a chameleon chimera.” A young brother holding a book and the nervous looking kid huddled close to him.
Look up rich douchebag in the dictionary and you’d find, “Jackson, werewolf kanima.”
“Ethan, werewolf.” Another Abercrombie looking guy.
Furry Superman was, “Derek, werewolf.”
“Peter Hale,werewolf.” Nate’s acquaintance.
Eliot’s buddy was, “Chris Argent.”
“Melissa McCall.” Clearly Scott’s mom...and also very hot.
“Sheriff Noah Stilinski.” The sheriff.
“Deputy Jordan Parrish, hellhound.” Yet another model looking guy.
What was in the water?
“Okay, I’m Nate, this is Sophie, Eliot, Hardison and Parker. Let’s go steal us a town’s sanity.”
TBC....

A better S4, maybe?
(I’m submitting this bc I’m not sure how long it will get, hope that’s okay!)
S4 definitely should’ve been the “dealing with all our emotional shit” season. There could’ve even still been a big bad to deal with on the side, heck, it could’ve still been the deadpool thing, just without the unneeded pack 2.0 and instead focusing on the OG characters and their problems. Just imagine Scott being so broken over Allison he can’t anchor himself and keeps losing control, blames himself for everything, for Allison being there, for not realizing she should’ve been on higher ground, for not finding a faster way to stop the nogitsune. Imagine Lydia trying to learn and harness her banshee powers so she never has to lose anyone like she lost Allison, and at the same time learning about her grandmother losing someone she loved as well. Imagine Chris going through losing his daughter and trying to keep it together because who else is going to help these kids from being hunted down. Imagine Stiles actually having Ptsd over killing people, even if it wasn’t *him killing them, while trying to put everything together and find out who the benefactor is while running on no sleep from nightmares, guilt, panic attacks daily, and not being sure if his friends trust him anymore or if they even should. Imagine a rift between Stiles and Scott that actually makes sense (as opposed to s5) because while they both blame themselves for Allison, Scott also can’t help feeling like his best friend is the reason she’s dead, and Stiles knows it’s not really his fault because it wasn’t him. Imagine Derek trying to help Scott with his control problems and sharing what happened with Paige with him, teaching him the alpha, beta, omega thing, imagine them actually learning to care about each other and respect each other as friends/equals. Imagine the Sheriff trying to keep his job while covering up the fact that his son’s face is on hospital surveillance in the middle of a massacre caused by a demon wearing his face. Imagine Stiles going to Derek when the guilt becomes too much, when he can’t sleep and can’t get the bad thoughts out of his head, because who better than Derek, someone who’s dealt with ptsd and all its fun side affects half his life? Sometimes Derek tells him about his past and sometimes he just listens and offers advice, maybe they find out its easier to sleep with each other close by, maybe they talk about how they always save each other and share their feelings, maybe they learn to heal together. Imagine Isaac, still lost from losing Erica and Boyd, and now another person he cared about. Maybe Allison was the first girl he ever loved, too, and maybe him and Scott grow closer and remember her together, maybe Derek let’s Isaac move back into the loft and apologizes for everything and they learn to take care of each other. Maybe Peter isn’t the benefactor because that’s dumb and maybe he doesn’t work with Kate because that’s dumb too, maybe Kate is gone and dead like she should be and Derek was just having a nightmare at the end of 3b. Maybe Peter is off rebonding with Cora, because he seemed pretty protective of her in 3a, and he’s learning to be their uncle again. Maybe he comes back a little less unhinged and helps them find the benefactor and Derek starts to forgive him a little more. Imagine Peter and Stiles teaming up to do some detective work to find the deadpool and who’s behind it. Imagine Kira learning about herself and what being a kitsune means, imagine her mother mentoring her in everything about it, maybe her parents want to leave to keep her safe and Kira convinces them they need to stay, that she won’t abandon her friends when they need her. Imagine, instead of the stupid nonsense they came up with, that the benefactor is someone who they set up as a villain at the end of 3b. Imagine Malia hating everything about the supernatural world, because if she weren’t supernatural her mom and sister wouldn’t be dead, and then Scott and Stiles come along and force her to shift back, force her to feel all these things and she’s angry and she’s manipulative and she wants to get rid of all of them, so she makes Meredith trust her and uses her to create a list of all the supernatural beings in beacon hills. Imagine her using Stiles’ and the pack’s trust to get info on Argent, which then leads her to other hunters, who she can contract to kill. Imagine her finding out on her own that Peter is her father, and she doesn’t even need to kidnap anyone to get into the Hale vault and steal his money, and she has a right to it, after all, since she’s a Hale, right? Maybe Peter realizes it has to be a Hale that stole his money, because who else could’ve gotten into the vault and he decides to go after Malia alone, to try and convince her it doesn’t have to be this way, he knows what it’s like to be angry and vengeful and want to hurt everyone, but Malia won’t listen and she gets away just as the rest of the pack shows up. Maybe there’s some distrust because some of them (Scott and Isaac) still don’t believe Peter is on their side and Derek and Stiles argue with them, because they think maybe Peter was working with Malia the whole time but Derek and Stiles know he wasn’t, that he’s been helping Stiles put everything together. Imagine Stiles feeling used and hurt that Malia pretended to like him just to get to his pack, another thing Derek and him now, unfortunately, have in common. Maybe Malia gets away or maybe she doesn’t, I don’t know. (this is slowly becoming fanfiction in my head and I’m losing the plot lol)
Well, there’s no maybe about it! This would have been a much better Season 4. Actual emotional fallout and consequences, and a quite sympathetic villain arc for Malia, who was clearly introduced to be a villain.

Okay but a memory reset would actually make a LOT of sense with how this season's going (and how the series is going, with the publicity of the villains). Erasing everyone's memory of the supernatural because of the chaos and fear it created would be the ultimate "return zero". We already know that werewolves can take memories, so having it happen on a massive scale would be quite a way to end things.
I agree Anon! It could be a really easy and clean way to end the series, and honestly, it would be sort of like a soft-reset that way, depending on how much is erased and who’s memories are erased- it could be that even some of the pack get their memories altered to exclude parts of 6B, like the fear monster, you never know- and a full reset is still possible too, but I do have two liiiiiiiittle reasons to believe they might just stick out the “Supernatural becomes known” thing
1. The supernatural coming out to humans is actually a really popular trope right now, in the last few years it’s been a central part of Bitten, American Horror Story, iZombie, and even Orphan Black (to an extent, technically clones aren’t supernatural and more technically no one knows about the clone element, just P.T. Westmoreland, but close enough for me to make my point) I’m not sure if it’s just another fun trope going on or if it’s because of the social-political stuff going on right now but this has been going on for a wile and always ends up being empowering, even if it starts as war, I feel like the humans are eventually going to turn towards the side of the supernatural and AGAINST the hunters, making Beacon Hills something of a werewolf metropolis the way Seattle is for zombies in iZombie and New Orleans is for witches in AHS, atleast, that’s my personal ideal, and I wouldn’t really put it past them, but atleast, I think the humans will end up siding with the werewolves by the end
2. The allegory, Teen Wolf has alot of allegories going on but perhaps the most consistant is the sexuality allegory*, werewolves are such a firm allegory for queer people, and right now the storyline is very based in being forced out of the closet, so to speak, I can’t see narratively that they would have this big battle, this big coming out- wich is something that’s been building series-long**- and then erase it all and put the werewolves back in the closet, this is really the primary debate in the meta chat about Scott losing his wolf powers***
So wile it certainly could happen and I could see it fitting fairly well with the storyline, I do have those two reasons stuck in my head for why I, personally, don’t believe it will, but you never know :)
*If you want to know more about the allegory, I’m pretty sure some folks in the meta pack have done really long and involved metas about it and I encourage you to ask around- Athena probably knows of one if she hasn’t flat written it herself, it’s a little long and invovled and would require an entirely seperate post for me to write out myself unfortunately, but if you’re just dieing for my take on it, send me an ask, I’d love to discuss it
**The idea of werewolves “Coming out” has been present since season one, in the beginning everyone was enormously tight-lipped, “Whatever you do, don’t let anyone know your secret!!”, the only person Scott told was his best freind who he needed support from, Allison- the love interest with bigotted parents- found out on her own and accepted it but didn’t exactly appreciate it (versus Kira who openly thought werewolfism as a beautifull thing) this is when there was the most emphasis on random people not finding out via Scott’s sudden success in lacrosse and accidental shifting, the most closeted time in the series, and Scott was very alone, the only other werewolves were the evil Alpha and Derek who, despite meaning well, kind of presented werewolfism like joining a cult, Derek was the big flashing “DANGER” sign complete with leather jacket that everyone’s mom warns them not to get involved with, and Scott tried very hard not to, he spent all of season one resisting the fact that he was a werewolf- like it or not, then in season two Scott’s mom finds out, she’s generally supportive but definately has her hang-ups, and we see a bigger fallout from what happens when the wrong people find out what you are (Gerard, Victoria, and even Allison who was initially ok with it being sort of converted into hating werewolves by her family) there’s also mounting pressure from others who are all transitioning into their own skins at the time- Lydia as a banshee, Jackson as a kanima and later a werewolf, the betas, season two has alot of transition in it- season three is finding a comfort and confidence in Scott’s own skin and people around him who are *like* him starting to form a group, this is when the pack really formed and when it started to become more empowering, what with becoming an Alpha and their villains being mostly other supernaturals and not so much humans, this is also when you see the big reaction from parents- you had Kira’s parents who already knew about kitsunes and hell her mother WAS one, they were pretty A+, you had Melissa who was as supportive as she could be but still had some slip-ups with how to handle it, and you had the sheriff who was newest to the fold and mostly living in Denial Land where he didn’t want to acknowledge any of it and when he was forced to he lashed out in anger, season four brings us back to the danger of werewolves being “out” thanks to the hit-list, after a repreive in season three of forming a pack and starting to feel comfortable with eachother, the danger is present again and instead of hiding like in season one, this time, they fight it, you also see a mob mentality aspect with amuetur hunters like Garrett and Violet who really were more in it for the money than they were caring about werewolves, the guy who burned Parrish fits here too, so easy it is to use hate as a weapon when there’s something in it for you… we also get Scott transitioning into Derek’s old position by helping Liam, and even though there’s still danger present from everyone being outted, they don’t try as hard to conceal themselves as they used to, then season five… all hell breaks loose, La Bete is a thing, Scott outs himself to the entire school library, and although there’s no present danger from those who know his secret, that doesn’t mean there won’t be in the future, 6A shows that Scott is actually getting pretty careless with being out, considering how he shifts in front of that truck driver for pretty much no reason, we see that the Wild Hunt has once again put a majority of the school in a position to see werewolfism and once again, no IMMEDIATE danger rises from it…. but now we’re at 6B, people have been acting funny around Liam and co since episode one and likely remember more about the library and the hunt than we’ve been lead to believe, they’re already on edge and not sure how to approach, now they have a reason to be violent, a reason to fight back, a reason to other the werewolves even further and even harder, and Scott and co can either keep trying to keep themselves undercover (wich won’t work) or accept it fully and be openly werewolves, if the town’s memories are erased in the finale’ then all of this work that’s been building towards openness since season one is flushed down the toilet and they’re back to the closet, it doesn’t just destroy 6B’s work, it destroys the entire series’ buildup to this point
***A theory that’s been bounced around is that Scott, by the end of the series, will have to make a huge sacrifice to save the town, it could be his Alpha powers, his wolf powers, his life, or even just his freedom, Scott has wanted to get away from Beacon Hills more than anyone and an enormous sacrifice for him could be deciding to stay and protect the town, give up his dreams at a “normal” life and accept himself as a werewolf and his responsibility as an Alpha, wich he’s been trying to strap to Liam like a GoPro to a dog since last season, this is my personal favorite because we’re getting a big fat lesson in “Beacon Hills needs you, Liam isn’t ready/capable of Alphahood yet, and you’re not going anywhere my dude” right now (Stiles, somewhere in the distance, “THEY NEED US!!!!!!!!”) but I digress, it would certainly be a very bittersweet thing if Scott finally got what he’s wanted the entire series (a normal life) just when he was starting to accept werewolfism/and-or when everyone else around him is no longer human (still holding out for magic!Stiles…) but it would kind of fight against the allegory to go down that road and imply that sexuality *is* something that can come and go wich… makes zero sense

What I Didn't Write in 2016
Plotbunnies that I never ended up writing (and, if I'm going to be honest with myself, probably never will).
Ghost Allison - Death wasn't enough to stop Allison from protecting her friends. (ETA: Never Mind.)
Jordan and Derek, Guilty (BR)OTP Fic (Unrequited Marrish and Sterek) - Jordan and Derek hate themselves for loving Lydia and Stiles. >:)
Post Season 2 Allison/Lydia, with Pregnant Lydia - Jackson impregnated Lydia just before he died in the Season 2 finale. Allison steps in.
West Wing Sterek AU - Stiles as the First Son, and Derek as the President's assistant. They are basically Zoey and Charlie. That's it, that's the plot.
Stiles-Centric AU (Witch!Claudia -> Warlock!Stiles) - A completely plot-less AU/idea about Claudia having been a powerful witch, and Stiles having inherited some magical ability from her.
Sheriff Stilinski Was Once Johnny Cage (Stallison or Gen) - altered to fit the Teen Wolf universe, the events of the Mortal Kombat movie were the manipulations of the nogitsune, before it was re-imprisoned back in California. When it escapes again, it intentionally possessed "Johnny Cage's son".
Avatar Scott AU (Sciles) - Scott is the Avatar, and Stiles is his non-bending best friend who he doesn't go anywhere without and who helps him learn. The Swamp Tree is called the Nemeton, and the academic fox spirits at the library are getting corrupted, which leads to one possessed Stiles.
Werewolf!Sheriff (Sterek) - The Sheriff gets Bitten, comedy and angst ensue. Let's be real, if I wrote this, it would mostly be angst.
Teen Dad Stiles (Pre/Post Sterek) - Babies don't make everything better, and in fact can ruin your lives, especially if you're a teenager.
Chris/Melissa/John Fic - What was originally a farce just to fuck with Rafael blossoms into an actual relationship. Their kids...try not to think about it.
"Seraph Stilinski" (Gen) - Claudia was a demon, the Sheriff is an angel, and all the forces of Heaven and Hell are deadset on making sure the world never finds out they had a kid together - the best way to do that being to kill the kid.
Stiles Number 7 (Clone AU, Derek & Stiles, Derek's POV) - Stiles is one of several clones, who are all based on Dylan O'Brien's other acting roles.
Trans Scott Fic (Scott & Stiles - Possible Sciles?) - Scott was born female, but is a boy. Stiles was his first and fiercest advocate, which is why the nogitsune acts like a transphobe the moment it possesses Stiles.
Details below!
Ghost Allison
ETA: So I ended up not only writing a fic for this one, but making a fanvid as well. Go figure.
Exactly what it sounds like: Allison is a ghost. I play around with various ghost mythologies, but the end result is that the pack realizes that Allison never left and she's been with them all along (which is why no one in the pack ever died after 3B). She sent Scott back after Theo killed him, she nudged Lydia in the right direction when she was in Eichen House, and she intentionally made Scott think of her when her own ancestor, Sebastian, tried to claw him for the memories.
This one, though, I'm actually not writing because I have an idea on how to make it a fanvid, instead. ♥
Jordan and Derek, Guilty (BR)OTP Fic (Unrequited Marrish and Sterek)
Basically, a fic which takes the age differences seriously. It's a lot of Jordan and Derek slowly realizing the other one is also, like themselves, attracted to a teenager (who, even while "legal", they just do not feel comfortable trying to start a relationship with, for many reasons, age merely being the biggest one).
It oscillated between humorous (the boys commiserating over the snarky teen geniuses they're in love with) and dark (the boys sleeping with each other and openly using each other as a "distraction" from the kids they are in love with). It was going to end with these two working behind the scenes to set up Stydia, figuring that Stiles and Lydia were better off with each other than with them, and then Derek and Jordan kinda parting ways and moving on, better able to love their respective teenagers from afar.
Post Season 2 Allison/Lydia, with Pregnant Lydia
Inspired by this gifset. Jackson actually died in the Season 2 finale, and Lydia found out she was pregnant with his baby soon after - and with Jackson dead, she refused to abort it. My twist is that Lydia's pregnancy is progressing against the backdrop of canon (though in an AU where, because Allison stayed to help Lydia through the pregnancy, she helped find Erica and Boyd, meaning they lived, and the Hale pack was more cohesive by the time Deucalion made his move). Lydia is explicitly targeted by the alpha pack because of her pregnancy (since the pack is an actual pack in this AU, practically everyone sees Lydia as family, and thus her baby as their future niece/nephew). The nogitsune tried to make her miscarry - though thankfully, it failed, if only barely. The fact that it was distracted attempting to cause the miscarriage meant Allison survived, though also only barely. Lydia was with Derek when Kate attacked, so the baby was born prematurely. Allison - at this point fully in love with and dedicated to Lydia and the baby - is furious, so when the pack goes to rescue Derek, she kills Kate for hurting Lydia and potentially killing the baby. Luckily, the pack comes back to Beacon Hills to find Lydia and her baby daughter are safe and on the path to recovery. The baby is named Jackie, after her lost father, and everyone loves her and all the bullshit of Season 4 never happened. The first full moon even reveals that the baby is actually going to be a werewolf, which Lydia is - much to everyone else's surprise - delighted by. Lydia is grateful to have the power to protect her friends, but being a banshee is traumatic and she's glad to know that her baby won't have to suffer through it. The epilogue is Satomi introducing herself and her pack to Scott and his pack - not from the fear and death of the deadpool, but to celebrate the new arrival to Scott's pack.
West Wing Sterek AU - First Son Stiles
Derek comes to the White House looking for a mailroom job, needing to support himself and his sisters after the rest of his family is killed in a brutal housefire. Due to a series of shenanigans, he gets hired as President Stilinski's body-man/personal assistant, instead. He eventually ends up dating the First Son, Stiles, and life seems good for him...until the First Family, the staff, and Derek are shot at by Neo-Nazis, because they object to the First Son being in a gay relationship. They stick together through that, though they split up later for personal reasons...yet Derek still loses his mind when Stiles' new boyfriend's stupidity gets Stiles kidnapped. As such, they eventually reunite (with only a little bit of meddling from Stiles' dad.) (This based off the Zoey/Charlie arc in The West Wing. Charlie's mom was a cop killed in the line of duty, and the Neo-Nazis attack because Charlie is black while Zoey is white. After they split, Zoey's new boyfriend gave her some E despite her already saying she didn't want it, and while he had no nefarious intentions beyond that, this made her vulnerable and led to her kidnapping.)
Stiles-Centric AU (Witch!Claudia -> Warlock!Stiles)
AU where Claudia was actually a very, very powerful witch. Stiles and the Sheriff have known about the supernatural world all along (Scott only found out after he was Bitten), and this somehow nebulously led to no real change in the events of Season 2, but after it, Erica and Boyd were saved from the alpha pack, and Allison stuck around town instead of leaving, so come Season 3 - when the story starts - the pack is a more cohesive pack, Allison is rebuilding her Hunting group/"family" with a new code, and Stiles is formally training to become Derek's emissary (and then Scott's, once Derek gives up his spark to save Cora, while Scott becomes the True Alpha). This one, I chose not to write because while I had some individual scenes and such planned out, I had no actual plot in mind.
The closest was some weird rom-com bullshit in which a coven comes into town and accuses the pack of breaking into their stuff/breaking some old wards of theirs. It's about to turn into a fight until Scott and Stiles show up and recognizes "Stiles's mom's book-club friends", and the witches recognize Scott and Stiles. They have trouble believing that the little boy who used to play with Stiles is now a True Alpha, but they do realize Stiles' "breaking" the wards/shields were genuine accidents - those shields were originally set up by Claudia, and the only thing more powerful than them are talismans she gave to Stiles and the Sheriff (made out of the Sheriff's old dog tags). They actually want Stiles to come with them, but they shrug it off when he declines and chooses to stay with his pack. One of the witches who is new to the coven tries to instigate a fight, but they're all like, "we can't fight them, we helped potty train them!" That's quite literally the extent of my planning for this fic. :P
Sheriff Stilinski Was Once Johnny Cage - Mortal Kombat (Stallison or Gen)
AU where "Stilinski" is actually Claudia's family name, which the Sheriff changed his name to in order to escape the fame of his movie days - he was actually born as Johnny Cage. Kitana was 'merely' a thousand years old, and a kitsune (halfway through the story, we find out she's Noshiko's older sister). Liu Kang is like Deaton, a Spark/Emissary/monk/user-of-magic (he grew up learning it, ran away from it, and the events of the movie were him coming back to that heritage). Sonya Blade is a Hunter from a Russian/Russian-descended family that has a testy relationship with the Argents (though she's not the leader yet in the events of the Mortal Kombat movie). The events of the Mortal Kombat movie were altered, so that it turns out the sorcerer Shang Tsung wasn't working for some other-dimensional demon, but the nogitsune (which Kitana accidentally released in the process of looking for her long-lost sister). The "tournament" was an elaborate human sacrifice ritual to superpower the sorcerer (and then/thus the nogitsune). Luckily, this original badass quartet managed to put a stop to the preceedings, and put the nogitsune back in its prison in California. Unfortunately, they were not able to capture Shang Tsung (which is why he later turns up leading a Yakuza ring right under Johnny Cage's nose in Beacon Hills - the actor playing Silver Finger is the guy who played the evil sorcerer in the Mortal Kombat movie). The story starts a few decades after that, though. Stiles is still very much the guy we all know and love, except that he grew up learning martial arts from his dad, his godfather "Uncle" Liu, and his godmothers "Aunt" Sonya and "Aunt" Kitana. (It's mostly just a hobby for him, something he does with his dad on the weekends.) The Sheriff and Stiles are both attempting to figure out or solve the supernatural drama, but from different directions. Both are attempting to protect each other from it, so neither of them know that the other one is involved until Matt's attack on the station, when they both know the kanima when they see it. Stiles learns the truth about his Uncle and Aunts, with Liu and Sonya even coming to town (though they don't really make it until after the Season 2 finale). Liu helps Stiles get started on learning how to be an Emissary, while Sonya (now the leader of her Hunting family) helps Allison clean up the Argent family and its mess. Kitana doesn't show up until the events of Season 3B, which is when it comes out that she and Noshiko are estranged sisters. Since Stiles genuinely sees Kitana as his aunt, this leads to him and Kira viewing each other as something akin to long-lost cousins. The joy of newfound family is short-lived, since the nogitsune has escaped yet again - and it wants revenge, which is why out of all the people it could've taken, it chose to possess Johnny Cage's son. >:) This fic was going to have a lot fun parallels between two quartets - the "original" quartet of Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Liu Kang, and Princess Kitana, against the "new" quartet of Stiles, Allison, Lydia, and Scott. However, it wasn't a fic I could really write about a single event or short period of time. Conversely, I didn't want to start yet another long, drawn-out, and heavily involved AU, when I'm already writing three of them.
Avatar Scott AU (Sciles)
From this post. Avatar AU, where Scott is the Avatar, and Stiles is his non-bending best friend and companion. Scott had many earthbending masters, though his most valuable lessons came from Stiles' father, the metal-bending Chief of Police. The Fire Nation hasn't attacked yet, but aspirations for world conquest are simmering in its royal family, the Argents.
Allison - a Yu Yan archer - has been exiled, ends up befriending the Avatar, and finds him the best fire-bending teacher possible: Kira, a lightning-bender. Monk Deaton teaches him airbending, as well as how to take care of the air-bison and all the other creatures of the Avatar world. (He is also an avid Pai Sho player, and taught Stiles how to play - and gave him a White Lotus tile when the boys finally left the temple after Scott mastered air-bending.) The Hales are the chiefs of the Water Tribe, who have always lived by the moon, and Derek is the one tasked to teach Scott water-bending.
Scott's first "mission" as the Avatar is to find out who is trying to attack the most spiritual tree in the world, the Nemeton. Before he tries, though, he has to go to The Library to learn about it. Unfortunately, something has been corrupting the fox spirits there, which no one realizes until one takes Stiles away from Scott. This was a premise, but there no actual plot to this, hence why I didn't write it.
Werewolf!Sheriff (Sterek)
In an AU where Erica, Boyd, and Allison all lived, and Isaac, Jackson, and Cora never left. Stiles has been instrumental in training all of them (especially once he sees what a disaster at it Derek was.) Werewolf shenanigans leads to the Sheriff getting Bitten by some rogue alpha, so now he has to learn how to be a werewolf. There are some good sides - he's loving how useful his new, enhanced senses are in his investigative work, and Stiles lets him eat whatever he wants. Unfortunately, he doesn't react well to the news that he can never drink again, and his first full-moon is trauatizing for everyone.
It was a lot of themes about how growing up can change your relationships with your parents and other parental figures around you. A big part of the story is that the Sheriff largely sees Scott as something akin to another son, but Scott has to be the Sheriff's alpha in order to protect him and everyone around them - and Stiles often unwittingly follows suit, as the Emissary. So their relationships kinda get flipped on their heads. And remember all the psychological nastiness of Scott's first full moon, and the physical violence of several other characters' first full moons? Yeah, imagine the Sheriff doing that, directed at his actual son and his adoptive son. >:)
(Despite not having enough of a plot to bother writing this, I did somehow develop plans for a sequel where this happens all over again because Melissa gets Bitten, too. However, in her case, she just asked Scott to Bite her, so she made an active choice to become a werewolf, well-aware of all the strife that would come with it.)
Teen Dad Stiles (Pre/Post Sterek)
Stiles and Malia didn't exactly use protection when they screwed in the basement of Eichen House in 3B, and Malia gets pregnant. In this AU, though, she never wanted to stay in the human world, so after she gives birth to the baby (toward the end of summer, just before senior year), she regains her coyote shift and returns to the wild - for good. Stiles is left with a baby, and the whole pack is supportive, and Derek in particular chips in a lot, since the baby is family (via Malia), and he's feeling a little bit responsible (for a variety of reasons). However, this isn't a feel-good fic where babies make everything better. Even with all the support in the world, being a parent is tough, and being a teen parent especially so. Stiles struggles with being a teenage father, and affects his social life, his ability to handle supernatural problems, and his grades - and with them, his career aspirations. He resents being a teen father, and slowly starts to resent the baby. Babies not only don't make everything better, but Stiles starts to feel like the baby ruined his life. Derek - seeing what could happen to the baby if she were raised by someone who resented or even hated her - demands full custody, and even threatens to sue for it. Stiles is resisting mostly because of what a massive blow to his pride and his sense of self this is, though also because he feels like Derek taking the baby out of obligation wouldn't be much better. (His resentment of being a teen parent is so deep, he doesn't realize that Derek - in a much better place in life to raise a child - actually looks forward to having a kid to take care of.) Derek is about to force the issue, but everyone remembers that while Stiles is the father, he is still a teenager, which is why the final say/official custody actually fell to the Sheriff - who saw the same thing Derek did, and thus agreed that the baby should go to Derek instead of staying with Stiles. The fic ends with the epilogue, which takes on the baby's first birthday, and when Stiles is getting ready to head off to college. There are no promises that Derek will wait for Stiles, nor that Stiles will ever "come back" or reclaim the baby. But Derek will always be there for Stiles, and while Stiles may not raise the baby, he will still be a big part of her life and try to do right by her in his limited capacity.
You can probably see why I didn't write this. Look, I'm sorry, but no matter how cute they are, sometimes babies not only don't make things better, they really do ruin people's lives.
Chris/Melissa/John Fic
This was a pretty cutsey fic idea, set in some nebulous post-S4 world, but where Allison lived and Isaac never left - and where Rafael McCall did, indeed, come back to Beacon Hills like he said he would in Season 4. However, he seems to be trying to 'reclaim' his place in the McCall family, refusing to see that Melissa has no interest in reuniting with him or that Scott neither wants nor needs him. (I consider this to be very OOC for him, though, which is a small part of why I didn't bother writing this.) The story actually begins after some minor supernatural scuffle results in Chris and the Sheriff crashing at Melissa's place for a night while the kids are out and about. The next morning, Rafael happens to barge into the house unannounced, sees Melissa making breakfast for Chris and the Sheriff (with Chris and the Sheriff in boxers and tee-shirts, since Melissa didn't have anything that could fit them), and jumps to the wrong conclusion. Rather than disabuse him of the notion, though, the three pretend they did, indeed, have some kind of threesome, leading to Rafael to storm off in disgust. They actually continue this facade for a while, much to the kids' amusement - it seems like the perfect way to throw people off their tracks, while making Rafael (and a few other interested parties) not think twice about some strange behavior. However, the fake relationship eventually grows into a real one, the three of them banding together to take care of and protect the kids in the face of all the supernatural crazy that is Beacon Hills. Their kids do find out that this "fake" threesome has become a real one. They struggle with it at first, for different reasons, but eventually come to be glad for their parents. (Mid-way through college, the two men knock up Melissa. The kids' reaction mostly boils down to teasing the parents for getting into an accidental pregnancy after having spent years lecturing the teenagers on practicing safe sex specifically to prevent something like this from happening. But when their baby sister is born, they spoil her to bits.)
"Seraph Stilinski" (Gen)
A kind of very dark Good Omens crossover/AU, with a lot of Saga undertones to it. Heaven and Hell have long been at war with each other, a conflict as old as humanity itself. One of the most powerful Arch Angels and another very powerful demon left their respective sides after falling in love with each other. They became human, which hid them from their former comrades, and spent multiple lifetimes together like this. Eventually, they even had a child together, taking great pains to make it look like that child was adopted, should someone unfortunately discover them. However, they realized too late that the process of having a child would doom the mother - which led to Claudia's human form deteriorating. She probably could've been cured just by undoing the human body and returning to her former self, but to do that would've been to reveal her location to the depths of hell, and possibly the truth about her child, so she died rather than put her husband and Stiles at risk. Supposedly, the Stilinski family happens to have been in Beacon Hills for a long time, and have passed down some uncanny resemblances, which is one no one questions it on the rare occasions they could swear they see John (or, I guess he's Noah, now?) in some decades-old photograph or century-old painting. However, some things aren't adding up, and by the end of Season 2, Stiles knows his father isn't human, and is a lot older than he looks. But the Sheriff is keeping remarkably tight-lipped about it all, which doesn't make sense until Stiles is possessed by a demonic fox-spirit...who the Sheriff says is, in the closest approximation to human terms, Claudia's brother - and thus, Stiles' uncle. And to think Derek thought he had it bad!
I also didn't write it because it was sprawling into some multi-million year angelic/demonic conspiracy. The reason why Claudia and John tried to hide that Stiles was their kid was because a angel-demon child was taboo, due to myths that such a child would be tremendously powerful. They were very confused when their baby was human, though relieved to see this would make him easier to hide. However, various "higher ups" in both Heaven and Hell still want this kid dead, and eventually, everyone figures out why. It's not that Stiles is particularly powerful, but that all humans are - they are not bound to any concept, object, element, or natural entity like angels, demons, spirits, and most supernatural creatures are. Things that devastate other creatures - iron, salt, silver, etc. - humans cloak themselves in, and powerful roots or herbs like mountain ash have zero effect on them. Despite humans being so physically weak and slow and their senses being so dulled, they've taken over the planet, and they can even leave it, a concept that up until recent was deemed impossible by everyone on and around Earth. In the purely physical sense, humans are "weak", but from the supernatural standpoint, humans are tremendously powerful (and/or rather, invincible). So why to the "higher ups" want him dead, if all humans are powerful? Well, Stiles is proof that all humans - all of humanity - are descendants of angels and demons. That thing about the conflict between heaven and hell being as old as humanity? Well, Heaven and Hell - angels and demons - predate humanity. Stiles - a confirmed child of an angel and a demon - is living proof that they weren't always at war, and that in fact there was so much fraternizing/uniting between these two sides, they created enough "demon/angel children" to create a whole new species: humans. Stiles is living proof that angels and demons can coexist peacefully, so of course everyone wants him dead before word of this gets out. This got very convoluted and extremely Sheriff-centric (with surprisingly little of Stiles or the pack in it), so I never bothered writing it. The Sheriff is popular, but not that popular/not on his own, so I doubted this would get read much, and if it's just for myself, why bother writing it when I can enjoy a story in my head?
Stiles Number 7 (Clone AU, Derek & Stiles, though surprisingly not necessarily Derek/Stiles)
A Clone AU, loosely based off of the tween novel series Amy Number Seven (which is like the middle school version of Orphan Black, but focused on the character coping with the clone background after finding out about it, rather than the clone mystery itself). Mostly Derek's POV. Basically, Seasons 1 and 2 are largely unchanged, except there are multiple implications that Stiles was kidnapped as a child and only recently returned home, but Derek doesn't know or figure out the details. Meanwhile, throughout these events, Stiles and Scott make a lot of references to Stiles getting help from mysterious "cousins" and "brothers".
After Matt's attack on the police station, Stiles calls in those mysterious cousins. Derek meets this AU's version of Minho, Brenda, Theresa, and Newt when Stiles goes missing after the Championship Game in the S2 finale. They are Stiles' "cousins", and despite the fact Stiles has been kidnapped, everyone agrees Stiles was kidnapped by "someone local", so the problem isn't big enough to warrant calling in Stiles' "brothers" just yet. Derek still had no clue what the fuck is going on, but not only are Stiles' cousins clearly child soldiers, Stiles himself actually manages to disable Gerard in that basement, and he's the one that frees Erica and Boyd. The warehouse battle still happens, and Stiles' mysterious cousins vanish soon after, and Derek is still very confused - even more so because Stiles is disturbingly competent and militant when it comes to finding and rescuing Erica and Boyd. (And also because Stiles disappears to "go help his cousins/brothers" once or twice throughout the summer.) However, the nogitsune is a BIG problem, which is when Derek gets to meet Stiles' "brothers" - clones.
These clones are all basically OC's inspired by/based on Dylan O'Brien's other roles. In this universe, the kids were made by some evil organization trying to produce soldiers, and these kids were the experiments/subjects. They survived, escaped, etc. - and now this story is about their lives afterwards. (The "cousins" were various experiments in how to amplify certain human strengths, while the "brothers" were just an experiment to successfully clone human beings. The next step was basically to "combine" these two experiments - clone people with those amplified traits - but these kids escaped and destroyed the organization doing this before that could happen.)
This was going to be fun once Stiles' "brothers" roll into town, because neither the pack nor the "cousins" are willing to kill Stiles - but his brothers are, and in fact are setting out to do that, leading to the clones working against the pack and the "cousins". The clones are all completely normal humans, while the pack are obviously supernatural, and the "cousins" have some superpowered traits (amplifications of hints of what we saw in the books), not to mention they've got the law and Hunters on their side (via the Sheriff and Allison). Despite this, the two sides are pretty evenly matched. Later, Stiles thinks that his "brothers" should very easily have been able to kick everyone else's asses, so he thinks they just didn't try hard enough because they didn't want him to die, and doesn't believe they were actually outmatched; some of his "brothers" are...not disagreeing. :P
Trans Scott Fic (Scott & Stiles - Possible Sciles?)
A fic where Scott had been born genetically female, but is transitioning to male - and has been for quite a while by the time he is Bitten. There is a lot of dysmorphia because the werewolf Bite interferes with the transition process, but Stiles learns magic specifically to counteract these problems. There was also a big plot arc where this interfered with Scott's ability to completely turn into a wolf (but once he does, the wolf form is male). To be honest, there wasn't much of a plot, just a lot of smaller ideas or scenes I had in mind. The ones I originally came up with - and at the center of the story - are something which I expect would be extremely controversial at best.
Stiles has always been Scott's Number One advocate, and his first defender in the face of transphobia. Where Scott tries to assume the best of people and educate everyone, Stiles thinks Scott shouldn't waste his time and that transphobes should just go die in a fire. Stiles was the first person Scott ever told, and he was the one who helped Scott talk to his parents to get the transition process started, when Scott was too scared to.
So when a thousand year old chaos spirit intent on causing as much emotional pain as possible possesses Stiles, what does it do? Deadnames Scott, constantly calling him by his birth name and intentionally referring to him with female pronouns as much as possible. This is directly parallel to Scott's transphobic father coming back into town and doing the same thing, insisting that Scott is his daughter, deadnaming him and misgendering him. What Rafael is doing to Scott out of transphobia, the nogitsune is doing because it knows how much it hurts Scott (and Stiles). What transphobes insist is "natural" or "right", the nogitsune is using as a weapon in its psychological warfare - because it's just that bad, that painful, and that devastating.

Teen Wolf episode 6x10- “Riders Of The Storm”- Observations And Predictions
So... as most of you have probably guessed, I'm not what you would call "happy" with the episode, in fact, I'm pretty upset by it.. I.. need to go drown in fanon for a wile, but because of my OCD, the observations and predictions come first, so as much as I'd love to get through this quickly, there are alot of questions- and I mean ALOT- that need to be discussed... hopefully I'm not here *all* night though
Stiles still seemed aware as he was looking at the board and saw the ticket before hearing Lydia, this is significant because we see that once again, he's the only person who's aware in the train station (from the original batch, that is) without having a deep emotional connection to draw him out
That Stilinski reunion.... man oh man was that a great reunion, even my mom squealed and got chills! ... Wich makes me wonder why the hell that was all we got, we didn't get ANYTHING else with the sheriff and his son? The sheriff, who has spent the entire season going through this emotional journey with and for Stiles, and finally, FINALLY he seems to have really broken through his negativity towards Stiles for... less than five minutes? Why? That makes zero sense, we even see the sheriff again at the station but this grand reunion only lasted for a few fleeting moments and then isn't even MENTIONED again? Why?
So only one person can see the rift.... that's interesting, or rather, I guess, only one person can see someone coming THROUGH the rift? Malia caused a flicker after all, but you know, man, this just.... this has GOT to point towards magic!Stiles... a rift form and Stiles just plain pushed through it? He didn't get burned? He didn't have to have ANYTHING to do with the Hunt? Even Liam had to jump on that horse in order to get through a rift (how the hell did he actually land upright on that creature anyway?) How does any of that BEGIN to make sense without magic!Stiles? (He could be a were!meerkat by how he sprung up in that jeep...)
Malia trusts Lydia the way Scott should trust Stiles, wich is GREAT development considering the beginning of their relationship was "If she was injured I'd eat her", I'm happy to see it :) I do wonder though, since Scott seems suddenly MUCH more loving and sincere towards Stiles, if he trusts him at all like he should...
"A true alpha, a werewcoyote, a banshee-" "A Stiles", God this one scene, this one LINE, has so much in it, so much magic!Stiles potential!! For one thing, this is very oddly similar to the speech Theo made- "I came for the beta with anger issues, the banshee, the dark kitsune, the werecoyote, I came for Void Stiles!" (I don't remember if that's the right order but you get my point) How eerily similar.... and then there's the fact that once again Stiles is referring to himself as a *something*, "What the hell is a Stiles?" ring any bells? Plus the entire "What are you now?" "Better" convo... and remember, a stiles is a bridge that humans can cross but not animals, so a Stiles is a bridge.... ugh there's just so much there....
Reunions continue to give me life, they continue to kill me and give me life, I have nothing to say except that really
Parrish's green fire... huh..... his oddness continues to amaze me but there's nothing meta about it I can think of for now
So... what determines where people go? I mean on the one hand you have people like Mason and Hayden ending up in the same place because they were taken around the same time but.... then on the other hand Peter was taken the same episode and ended up somewhere COMPLETELY different, there's no link between someone being taken by Dug vs the actual hunt either, and yet some are ending up at the actual train station and some are ending up in places scattered around Beacon Hills that have been turned into the train station... even Scott and Stiles later on are taken at almost exactly the same time and yet Stiles ends up on one floor of the school and Scott ends up on the other... what determines where someone goes? Anything?
I can't believe Stiles was gone for three months, I mean I know that time moves differently in the other realm, we all knew that, but I still thought it was three weeks at the very MOST, am I the only one who didn't ///AT ALL//// feel like three months had passed in canon?
I'm so happy that Stiles did that liquid nitrogen thing, I love seeing his quick-thinking in action, wich isn't meta but it's just... it's nice... and I deserve something nice after that ending.....
So... you can't stop the train... but you're going to divert the train to send them to another town .. to... do their supernatural feasting elsewhere...? That seems awfully ... chaotic neutral to me.... or maybe lawfull neutral I don't know.... but it's just odd, that Scott, the KING of We Have To Save Everyone, just sends the train on it's way without even trying to look into a more permenant solution, and why, again, do we not know why the hunt was stuck? Are they not at all concerned that they'll get stuck in the next place too? It just seems so abrupt and desperately OOC that they didn't even bother looking into anything else, they didn't exactly exhaust any efforts, and if it was a matter of time, why not divert it for NOW and go back to it later? But no, everyone just moved on like the Big Bad was actually defeated....
And because I'm letting myself talk about nice things this post, have we talked about Papa Stiles/Pack Mom Stiles lately? Because it was nice and present in this episode and I appreciate that on EVERY level
So... Scott seems IMMENSELY more clingy with Stiles than he's ever, EVER been before and oh God I love it, "Do you want to split up?" "Never again"- when has Scott ever had that attitude towards Stiles? Especially in a serious, life or death- mass life or death at that- situation? That's more like something Stiles would say to Scott, I'm so happy to see this development, and although the mysterious bad-memories scene last episode wasn't addressed, I think it did really make some changes to how Scott sees Stiles, and I'm glad for that, if not still a little confused, having the freindship in canon that they have in fanon is something I've always wanted to see (even though it's way too early to tell if that's really what's happening/going to happen, it's still worth mentioning)
Onto something I *don't* appreciate however, the Malia and Peter scene, it feels like Malia really was forced to give up alot of autonomy here, she has VERY clearly chosen more than once to consider herself a Tate and not a Hale, and has made it as explicitly clear as she possibly can, and yet this entire season has been showing the Malia HALE connection with no references to her father and very much pushing Malia into a relationship she clearly doesn't want- and worse, pushing it in an emotional way, I mean I get in *canon* why they had to do that and it makes sense, but I wish the writers had done it differently because it just seems strange that she spent so much time clearly denying being a Hale and now all of a sudden it's forced down her throat, like asking someone "Do you want a red popsicle or a blue one?" and then when they say red you give them nothing but blue, it's.... very annoying....
I'm just... really surprised no one has made the "wolf herding the sheep" analogy with Peter leading the people out of the train station yet... honestly... *cough*
Why can Peter make contact one second and not the next? One minute his claws are going straight through the rider, hitting nothing but fog, and then the next he's able to kick the guy into the wall? What changed? It didn't seem like there was really any difference
So Corey being used as a bridge actually explains ALOT about how people are crossing in and out of the other realm and why the memory stuff seemed to sort of stop with Corey, remember that the last time someone was brought up as being forgotten it was Corey himself, and after Mason found his phone it sort of... stopped, so Corey merging the realities explains THAT much atleast
Ahh the scene were Stiles is almost shot... it mirrors the scene with the chemist in season four so well, once again someone is about to shoot Stiles, who closes his eyes but stays otherwise still, scrunches up his face and then- BAM, out of nowhere someone saves him, Raf the first time, Lydia the second, there's got to be a reason they chose to mirror THAT scene, it wasn't for Stydia, because that wasn't a Stydia scene or even a Stydia EPISODE- hell if anything it was a Stalia episode, so if they weren't going for magic!Stiles, why clone THAT scene? It makes no sense if you aren't going for magic!Stiles, and then let me point out, once again Stiles makes a point of trying to say "Scott, I can't fight this guy" when historically he DOES seem to "fight these guys" on his own pretty well...
Well Stydia is canon for atleast now, I'm not that concerned, I actually don't mind Stydia, I still think that it's only temporary, that something will happen in 6B to jiggle them and we might get Sterek endgame (or everyone single, that's common to come up in the meta pack) but we'll see, considering how much the end of the episode bothered me, I really can't be bothered to worry about Stydia in any way....
Finally someone gets it about the ghost guns!! I'm glad Chris makes a point of saying he needs one of those guns, but it's annoying that no one bothered to realize that the riders can be killed by their own guns before now, since we've had an entire season and they only find out about this in the end (well, only ACKNOWLDGE it at the end) only to... not... use it again... I do love that cute western scene with the showdown between Chris and the hunter though, that was nice, and having a canon McArgent pair is really cute, but it begs the question of Scott, does he even know? What's his reaction to it? I mean his mom is dating his dead ex-girlfreind's dad who also hunts werewolves... that's... that's like six levels of awkward but he hasn't even found out yet to our knowledge... that'll be some real wasted potential if they don't do anything with this next season
OK BOYS, GIRLS, AND NON-BINARIES WE HAVE FREAKING PROOF THAT CLAUDIA IS NOT A TULPA! She was, in fact, conjured by the Hunt, unlike Caleb, I am amazed and shocked and really happy to have this information, although it's a little bit sad that we don't have something!Sheriff anymore, knowing that Claudia is something other than a Tulpa explains alot, and we can chalk the beleif/non-beleif thing up to the fact that Claudia was only there for the sheriff's benefit, if he didn't believe in her, what was the point? (Although, am I evil for wishing Stiles had had a flashback of himself and real!Claudia?)
I also really liked the "He has a pack but I'm not in it" thing, particuarly because I really thought for a second there that Theo was going to try to be part of the pack before Malia stepped in, Peter got the best line of the night too- "No one likes a nazi", so finally I'll credit a point to Peter for something good
"Worming is one of my skills" Stiles says, as if there are more skills there besides your basic human skills... I need magic!Stiles guys, I've had this carrot dangled in front of me and jerked away too long and too many times now, I don't know how much longer I can take it
So um... is it me or... do we... still not *quite* know what exactly the train does yet...?
That was one cool rider transformation, someone in the meta chat mentioned that maybe the riders are people who tried to control the hunt and they became part of it, that's a pretty good theory I think, I'm curious about the nazi arm badge though, do all riders have something so specific to them as a person on their wardrobe or is it just Dug?
Man those nine herbs are really making the rounds, wouldn't THAT have been usefull since, oh I don't know..... season one.....
Ok I guess... I guess it's time to talk about the ending, I don't want to honestly but there's just so much weirdness.... Stiles giving up the bat was pretty IC, but that was pretty much it, for one thing the Sciles thing is completely out of left feild, just last episode Malia tells Scott that Stiles has been apartment hunting for them, and now he's suddenly moving all the way across the country? Not just to another town or another state but another COAST, remember that for Stiles, essentially, only a month has passed since then and graduation, there's arguement that this last scene is placed in August after their last summer together but still, Stiles would have needed to apply for school and blah-blah.... Scott is FINALLY returning Stiles' affections on level with how Stiles acts towards him and NOW he goes across the country? And FBI? Are you kidding me? Law school I was prepared for, reluctantly, but I figured that even though it doesn't fit Stiles' charector they might toss him there anyway, but FBI? No, Stiles HATED the FBI, he made it clear that his issues with Raf were not solely about Raf, but that he just didn't like the FBI snooping in his town's business, he thought it was intrusive, I could see Stiles as a sheriff or a deputy if you want him in law enforcement, atleast that's comfortable enough with Stiles still being in Beacon Hills, still being near his loved ones and protecting his home and the people he's cared about, but Stiles has NEVER expressed interest in moving away and doing any kind of large-scale protecting people mission, that's always only been Scott who cares about large-scale protecting, Stiles just wants to protect his HOME and that has never showed sign of changing, and he's getting help from Raf now too? I don't think Stiles would accept it if it was offered, plus the school he's attending is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive and with the financial issues brought up in season four he must have had one hell of alot of scholarships to afford it, how much make up did he do after missing three months in order for THAT to happen? Then there's handing over the jeep, wich we now know is his MOM'S jeep, just.... that ... no... and why would Lydia drive him to Washington? That isn't about Stydia, that's about the weirdness of Lydia driving Stiles to Washington, seven hours away from where she belongs at MIT, instead of either of them taking a plane (Stiles doesn't have a car anymore, why drive? It'd be cheaper and easier to take a plane) and Stiles has been back in BH for over a month and didn't get his liscence back? What's the hold-up? That seems awfully important, then you have the non-Stiles stuff, Liam is still insistant on not being the Alpha or even the Alpha replacement but people seem to ignore him, no one mentions Malia and what she's going to do after highschool even though it's CLEARLY taking place when they're going off to college (IE: probably around August) and summer school should be done, even if it wasn't though, why would she be the only one of the main pack who hasn't even MENTIONED plans- or had plans mentioned about her- for after highschool? Then there's Scott getting into UCDavis, now I know nothing about colleges (and I'd like to keep it that way) but he was failing alot of classes before and he and Stiles both express the "I can't believe you got into UCDavis" thing with no explanation of HOW he got in, I just??? And wait, wait.... Stiles has this big parting scene with his dad nowhere to be found? I get it, I mean, Dylan may not have come back to 6B at the point that they were filming this, they were filming his exit, SO WHY WAS HIS DAD NO WHERE TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE IN THE LAST HALF OF THE EPISODE AT ALL? After the entire season featured SO. MUCH. of that relationship being repaired.... ///what////?
And then we come to the THING- the big thing: The body in the woods, now this may seem like just a cute throwback to season one and hell, it might be, I mean my credits of placing winning bets on this show clearly doesn't show for MUCH, but alot of people seem to feel like this ending was very ominous- it was very nice on a surface level, it was pretty but.... I can't be the only one who was waiting for something to dart out in front of the jeep and cause it to crash in the last minute of the show, because that's how Teen Wolf works- it's how Teen Wolf ALWAYS works, it just felt so strange... too neatly tied up, not just in a "Everyone was happy" kind of a way but ... it was just... too neat, there are plenty of ways to have happy endings that still have some mess to them and this felt utterly unnatural in all of the worst of ways, I described it in the meta chat earlier as "uncomfortably weird"- wich is great in the way that Teen Wolf is a horror show and the definition of horror isn't gore and jump-scares, it's making the audience uncomfortable, but... it's not a good kind of uncomfortable? It's the uncomfortable of, say, the Lost Girl finale', where everything just felt supremely weird in a loose-ends, OOC, the writers stopped caring sort of a way....
There have been alot of theories going back and forth in the meta chat, mostly between Athena and I, but we're wondering if this even actually happened, different realities may have bled through, this might be LITERAL wish-fullfillment for one of the charectors as everyone is stuck in the trance via the Hunt (honestly I'd pay to see that one) or even a genie, hell, it might not even be the real Stiles, maybe this Stiles is as much a Hunter-induced changeling as Claudia was.... it just feels like the kind of fanfiction ending season-one!Stles would have written, if that makes sense, he got everything he wanted in season one: The girl, Scott's approval and affection, his dad's approval and affection, closure with his mom, getting into some top-notch school for law enforcement (because that IS something I believe he would have wanted up till around season three) and everyone was kinda given the ending he probably thought they'd have, Lydia is mysteriously a junior at MIT and Scott despite all odds got into his school of choice, people like Malia who he didn't know in season one are mysteriously absent of an ending at all however... and think about the filming facts we have so far:
Jackson will return for 6B at atleast some point, Scott, Malia, Lydia, and Stiles, have all been filming even though three out of those four are supposedly not in BH at current, Rafeal has been filming, and even though Stiles will be in 6B we know his filming schedule has been tight and probably won't be in it as much as some of the others, all of that could easily line up for one of the above endings, especially with Jackson, who might appear as part of Stiles' hunt-induced hallucination/alternate universe or what have you....
*sigh* I am tired
I am tired and need fanon and I'm going to run and hide in powerplay-Vikturi fanfiction
Teen Wolf comes back in the summer for the last time, this is our last shot folks, prayer circle that we get everything- or atleast a few of the most important things- that we want from 6B, and that this weird, creepy, bizzare ending is completely overwritten

Teen Wolf episode 6x07- “Heartless”- Observations And Predictions
Hello puppies and kittens, and welcome to week seven of My Tuesday Nights Make Me Crave Sleep, it's twelve-thirty, I'm hoping if I limit my distractions I can actually get this one done before my eyes start to sting, wich means that I shouldn't wast any more time on an intro~
Theo waking up in the mourge definately reminds me of Allion in 3B, when she had her heart removed (and hey, look what happened!) I don't really know why but just... the tone of it, I guess? It felt very reminiscent of that entire scene to me, and he DID have his heart taken out, and it looked like it was a black heart to me, wich I normally wouldn't speculate much about because, let's be honest, Teen Wolf's lighting department seems to be like one dude with a lamp on the BEST of days, it's highly possible it was just normal old red blood that the darkness of the screen made into black, but ... there is a reason I bring the question up, in Once Upon A Time a black heart represents evil, evil deeds stain your heart, and OUAT isn't the first franchise to take the "blackened heart" thing so literally as far as I'm aware, so could Teen Wolf be showing us Theo's true evil? Could it come up again later? Possibly... we know the heart belonged to his sister, but if they go this route then wouldn't Theo's evil have "corrupted true good" by turning her heart black? .. Unless his sister wasn't as innocent as we were told...
I'd also like to mention that this is Theo's personal hell, from what I can gather, it's supposed to be an example of what he went through when he was underground, wich is pretty much identical to the concept of "personal hell" in American Horror Story, where you live the same moment over and over and over again for eternity, for Cordelia it's being abused by her mother, for Queenie it's working in fast food and being disrespected, for Misty- in possibly the cruelest fate ever- it's being in a classroom forced to dissect frogs, etc etc, no matter what it is, it's the same thing that happens on loop for eternity until you pull yourself out (*sigh* My poor Misty...) that's basically what's happening to Theo here, his worst nightmare, being played out on loop for eternity... wich really makes me wonder, if he was more willing to go back to THAT than become a Ghost Rider, how bad must being a Rider POSSIBLY be? He makes it very clear that he'd rather go back to having his heart ripped out by his creepy sister on loop for eternity than join The Hunt, so something tells me that joining up means a fate worse than just riding around collecting souls for eternity.... there's something else there, something more horrific, we just don't know what yet
Now here's a "fun" question: Malia says that she, Scott, and Lydia "all remember Stiles", but do they really? Do they remember STILES, or do they remember that Stiles EXISTS? Because so far everything we've heard concerning him is just really genaric stuff that could be said about pretty much anyone, the only indication we get AT ALL that they remember Stiles as a PERSON and not just remember KNOWING someone named Stiles is when Lydia was in his room but I feel like that's more of a banshee thing than a memory thing, Theo's recollection, in what LITTLE we've seen of it, just seems to be more .. well... MORE... it has more muchness to it, the other three though, their memories haven't been shown to have any muchness at all yet, wich seems weird as they should have been able to remember him in full- if they do like Malia says they do- for two full episodes now yet not one of them ever makes ANY comment or allusion to him outside of a very genaric reference...
This has nothing to do with meta but it's both hilarious and tragic that Theo references Scott and Liam as Mom and Dad, hilarious because fandom has been saying that about Scott and Stiles for ages now.... and tragic for the same reason because excuse you you couldn't have slipped that reference in when the REAL Pack Mom was around Teen Wolf? Ah well, beggars and choosers and all that (this is just another prime example though of why the Sciles feels were hitting me hard during the "We have to find Stiles" thing though)
So back to meta, we now have confirmation that wherever Theo was, it was the Skin Walkers who were responsible, wich leads me to believe three things:
1. He was not in hell 2. The Skin Walkers have some use/control over interdimensional travel/other worlds/mirrorverses/whatever you want to call it (thus how he was living underground for three months) 3. I believe Theo was in something of a coma, his personal hell wasn't a real place but just a mental warp, we know that Skin Walkers can connect to people on mental levels that seemingly no one else can so it doesn't surprise me that they would use that power to give someone an illusion of whatever their personal hell is wile their body is left in the dirt (literally)
It DOES make me wonder though, on a moral level, why the Skin Walkers feel so obligated to the Kira, I mean if all of this is right and they DIDN'T just gussy up her sword like we first thought they did, then they're doing an awfull lot to get her in their clutches, why? Why do they want to train her so badly? What's in it for them? It's mentioned that Kira would become one of them but how can she be both a kitsune and a Skin Walker? It's all very odd... very, very odd.....
I'm so happy that the sheriff is finally starting to believe, finally after all of this time... I'm glad he goes against the grain- even against his WIFE, real or not- to say he wants to look into it, thouhg I do have ONE question, pod-Claudia mentions the people owning the house before them "did some crazy things", I mean I know that could have VERY easily just been Claudia telling a lie but what if it wasn't? What if it was a subtle reference to Stiles and the sheriff living there before "Claudia" and having gone through a bunh of "Crazing things" because of the supernatural? Not that it changes anything but I thought it was an interesting thought to bring up anyway
Aw man and I just want to take this moment to shout out to whoever thought putting Theo on a leash was a GREAT idea because it was, it was a GREAT idea
So the thing about Peter's skin slipping off of his body, I've seen that before, and no I'm not talking about werewolf transformations, I'm talking about in THIS exact context: HEALING, with death and rebirth coming together and all of that other fun, weird, stuff, namely, it was in X-File, in season seven, "Deadalive", Mulder comes back to life after having been abducted by aliens for a few months by- you guessed it- shluffing off is skin- his literally dead skin- and coming out all sparkling and new underneath it, I find this significant but I'm not sure why just yet... I tried to look into the background behind Deadalive and tried looking into the details but unfortunately I couldn't quite grasp anything in particular but I'll keep it in my back pocket for the future because I KNOW it's significant somehow...
Seriously though why has the nine herbs thing never been a thing? So far that's twice in the last two episodes that they've brought someone back from the dead, you'd think that would be kind of important all things considered... I mean, think about just HOW. MUCH. it's already done in only two episodes, why do hunters not have pouches of this remedy strapped to them from head to toe?
So the cool thing is about this Claudia question.. I actually went into detail on it aleady riiiiight about here, so I'm just going to let everyone read that rather than rehashing it again at five in the morning http://asagimeta.tumblr.com/post/155710128096/i-gotta-admit-i-wasnt-expecting-claudia-to-be
So as far as we know the pack still has the ghost rider's gun right? Tell me THAT'S not going to be significant later (also, quick note, for the rest of the meta I will be referring to this one singular rider as Danny Phantom, because it's easier and I can)
I'm so proud of the sheriff for telling Lydia "I'm listening" though, if Stiles could see him now... up... until he stopped believing again but still!!
I also just want to point out quickly that I find it really cute how thrilled my mom that Mason has a power now, I'm still here waiting for magic!Stiles but apparently Mason has The Sight (and you can try but you will never take that away from me now) and that's good progress anyway
So we learned something very important about how the Hunt actually works tonight, in that apparently the theory is true that the Hunt doesn't ACTUALLY make things dissappear, they just cover it with invisibility cloth so that most people can't see it, unless you have whatever power Corey has, and now Lydia, although I believe Lydia's reason for being able to sort of see Stiles' stuff has to do with a combination of banshee power and her beleif in Stiles existing to begin with, but still, the fact remains that she and Corey have this in common, wich makes me feel more than ever like Corey's powers are connected to the Hunt... or possibly to something to do with mirrorverse, after all he can turn invisible, I wonder if that has anything to do with being on another dimensional plain of existence from everyone else? So he can opt to basically hang the "Do Not See" sign the Hunters usually use (or one like it) around himself whenever he wants...? Still, the fact that the "If you believe it/touch it/force it back into reality it becomes real again" thing makes alot of sense, but it still makes me wonder about Stiles' room... even if all of his stuff is still technically there (although how is his jersey there when we saw in episode one that some other kid was wearing it?) the room was still undoubtably behind a wall- and on the wrong floor of the house for that matter, that can't simply be due to the Hunt induced blindness can it?
To be honest I'm actually really glad that the Hunt isn't really afraid of Parrish, but rather that they were just trying to communicate with eachother, I think it makes alot more sense in general
I wonder if the fact that this dimensional rift being in the preserve means anything... I mean so much supernatural crap HAPPENED there you know? Everything with the Hale fire, the first time Peter died, Laura is burried there, atleast two people that we know of were bitten there (Scott and Jackson) the NEMETON IS THERE, I mean... these are just a tiny handfull of many, many things... and it begs the question: Is the dimensional rift there because of all of the supernatural activity, or is all of the supernatural activity happening there because of the dimensional rift...?
I would also like to point out that once again Peter says "Humans can't get through" (the portal) but he never specifically says Stiles can't... I believe this is the third time Peter specifically says "Humans can't get through", if it is then we already have our pattern, even if it's only the second time then we're only one away from the pattern, I just... I so badly need magic!Stiles to cross through the portal safely because he's magic... the set up is so perfect, so juicey and amazing, and I just... it could be so amazing!!! I believe in it, Stiles will get through the portal because he isn't human (please Jeff...)
What I really want to know though is how Danny Phantom can suddenly speak English, wasn't he JUST speaking Hunter Gurgle at Parrish a few seconds before...??
I also want to point out that they really are reinforcing Malia being Peter's daughter all of a sudden for some odd reason, I'd like to know why, they've had about three seasons now to reinforce it and they've kept it pretty much quiet until now, only directly referencing it a couple of times between Peter and Malia themselves, and now all of a sudden those two are yapping up this father-daughter thing and it just ... seems suspicious.... and "I'll get you a new anchor" may sound like a funny line, and it is, but I wonder if that isn't more significant too... I wonder if Malia really WILL be getting a new anchor before Stiles gets back, or even maybe after, as a way of showing that she's grown, maybe something inspired by Peter somehow, maybe Peter will sacrifice himself in an attempt to save her/protect her and ~the undeniable power of human love~ + family + selflessness and bravery will become her anchor, like a patronus, that one memory will be her new anchor... I'd actually kinda like that
So why did Danny Phantom seem afraid of Dug? I mean we know that Dug eats him but here's this supposedly ~mystical and deadly Ghost Rider that no one can get a leg up on~ and he sees Dug and all of a sudden he can tell the end is near for him, it makes me wonder.... the last time they met, was Dug the predator, or the prey, in the last exchange he had with Ghost Hunters...?
I also talked about Dug's purdy new green eyes over here http://asagimeta.tumblr.com/post/155710128096/i-gotta-admit-i-wasnt-expecting-claudia-to-be so you can read about what him being a temporary Ghost Hunter/false chimera means there, aaand to sign this off I just want to let everyone know that the last note on my scratch pad when the episode ended read as follows: "NO DUG NO DO NOT LASSO THE TINY GAY" "Damn it Dug"
