okay but imagine if there’s a yule ball coming up, and Sebastian is either indifferent or really isn’t interested in the dance part. But when MC shows interest or excitement for it, Sebastian agrees to practice with them in the Undercroft. Resulting in toe-stepping and messing up w steps, lots of blushing and light-hearted jokes and whatnot.

This is my first Tumblr post, and I thought I could start off with some simple head canons for Sebastian in year 1. Honestly part of me could see an entirely different approach, and I'll honestly do multiple of these lol. Anyways, i hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did!♡

I feel like when he meets you for the first time, he's slightly dazed when looking at you. but he doesn't really know why. It takes him a while to even realize he's attracted to you, since he isn't the most experienced with handling his emotions.

Randomly in spring, he turns on the flower dance music and pretends as if hes dancing witn you. He does it infront of a mirror, continuing to become increasingly frustrated when he can't get it right

Days before the flower dance Abigail and Sam will be hanging out at Sam's place when they realize he has a crush on the farmer, so they end up teasing him and trying to convince him to ask the farmer to be his dance partner. As much as he protests, they still end up helping him get ready and everything. Including, Abigail showing him how to actually dance and how to compliment you without sounding condescending or perverted.

As much as he doesn't want to admit it, he took hours getting ready before the dance, trying to look good for you. Robin notices him actually wanting to dress up this year and teases him thoroughly.

At the dance, when you arrive, Abigail and Sam hype him up to go talk to you as you talk with Pierre. As he walks up to you, he dusts the invisible dust of his shoulders and sees if his hair looks okay. And as he waits for your attention, he just looks absolutely breath taken. Like your beauty just blew the wind out of him.

When he asks you, he occasionally looks back at Abigail and Sam for reassurance. >///<

( this is a more game-based head canon ) You visit him so often, that in the mornings he starts to wait for you, hoping you will drop in that day. And also ends up not eating lunch in case you bring him a plate of sashimi like you usually do. When you dont it doesn't bother him that much, he just ends up missing you.

RE: People giving Bucky a hard time over his "I'm invisble, I'm turning into you.." line being "selfish" That whole scene is Bucky displaying behaviour consistent with depression or traumatic stress. He's drinking by himself in an isolated area, isolating himself from social situations by not sitting with the ohers - he doesn't initiate the convo with Steve and he's apparently smoking. Although a lot of people did that then we didn't see any sign of him smoking before? Not that I recall anyway. And I don't believe he was jealous of a woman paying attention to Steve instead of him or "taking" Steve from him. Bucky's a true friend (I'm not a shipper full stop): and true friends aren't possessive nor do they take issue with you spending time with others or flirting with the same person as them.

I think Bucky was simply testing himself. He wanted to see if he could still muster the confidence and charm to convince a lady to dance with him which he'd probably never had any problems doing before. Its the first time he initiates a conversation the entire scene.

When it didn't work was when he knew there was something wrong. I don't think it was just the super-soldier serum. It's interesting that after that Steve is really the only person he interacts/talks to having been very sociable and outgoing before. Some people have also noted that his tone of voice chances as well, he seems to speak less often, more softly and his tone is quieter. So maybe "I'm turning into you" is actually a kind of role-reversal. Bucky is now the quiet, less confident, introverted one and the one who has been victimized (and is about to be again by HYDRA). Kind of interesting as well that the serum now means Steve is taller than him too.

Poor Bucky. Cut him a break and give that man a hug. And a cookie. A cookie can't hurt.

Hey nonnie, I'm not sure who's been giving Bucky a hard time over the "I'm invisible" speech but I'm glad I haven't seen it XD

I had a meta a while ago about that particular line. It's not a fixed headcanon by any means, I was just running with the flow of Bucky's thoughts to see how he might have ended up in that moment.

And yeah, I agree, I think he was in a very vulnerable place at that time. Not just what he went through during imprisonment, but he's also traumatised by what he's seen so far in the war, and now someone who matters very much to him is in danger (Steve) and he can't do anything about it. I'm basing my projections on what Sebastian had said about Bucky in the "let's hear it for Captain America" scene -- that no, he wasn't jealous of Steve in that moment, he was just horrified he wouldn't be able to protect him anymore. He's torn between admiring Steve for the courage, and the very realistic fears of seeing Steve come to harm, but he also knows Steve too well to talk him out of it. So he's not in the best headspace in that moment.

I do want to gently disagree in that jealousy in a friendship doesn't make it less pure or less good, it's simply a very human response to what is at its heart a fear of abandonment. Even if you logically understand that you need to let your friend have other relationships, you can still feel jealous if that eats up time you'd normally have with your friend, and apprehensive about what else you might lose. It's what you do with those emotions that defines your morality. This is why a lot of fans say that Bucky has had a villain origin story but has come out the other end a hero -- he's gone through an arc of loss and fear and jealousy, but come out the other side still staunchly Steve's friend, and that's a heroic arc.

As always I think Sebastian did a fantastic job with Bucky. The change in Bucky pre-war and post-war is considerable.

His voice is lower and coarser, his mannerisms are much more "schooled" rather than boyish, it screams less bravado and more of a quiet assurance, and that frown never lifts from his brows. But yeah, a lot of that is battle-hardened professionalism, but I think a lot of that is also Sebastian factoring in Bucky's mental health. And his eyes are on Steve a lot more even when they're not conversing -- shipping angle aside, Steve is his commanding officer, and my other thought is that...his eyes are always on Steve because the danger to Steve is much higher now, and he's always made it his personal mission to make sure Steve's going to be okay.

(I mean there's also a lot we can say, or has been said, about that particular scene in terms of male writers writing female love interest badly, but that's an entirely different topic)

Harvey's radio will always play Louis Daniel Armstrong or Ella Jane Fitzgerald because the doctor loves listening to jazz. If he wants something more energetic, Harvey will switch to the Latin music radio channel. He's sure to start dancing in the kitchen when Pete Rodríguez's "I Like It Like That" comes on. With music like that, cooking dinner becomes more interesting and fun.

It may sound pretty cliche, but Alex will definitely have a workout playlist with songs from the 80s rock and roll, pop rock and metal genres. Stan Bush ("Touch", "Fight for survive", "Never surrender"), Paul Engemann ("Push it to the limit, "The Eagle Lands"), Survivor ("Eye of Tiger"), Judas Priest ("All guns blazing", "The Sentinel") would be his favorites.

I'm sure Sebastian will be a fan of alternative rock (Nirvana - "Smell like teen spirit" and "Lithium"), emo-core (Taking back Sunday - "Cute without an "E") and electronic rock (almost all Celldweller albums, his favourite album is "Wish upon a Blackstar"). I also think that Sebby often likes to enjoy breakcore, not really remembering the specific artists and listening to whatever he likes. This is how I imagine Sebastian trying to explain to his mom what breakcore is (Warning: loud).

It's quite difficult with Sam because he's a real melomaniac. He listens to absolutely everything and almost all the time. Depending on his mood, he can listen to both heavy metal and pop music. However, the most frequently played bands in his music player are definitely the Beatles (his two favourite albums are "Help" and "Yellow submarine"), Coldplay ("Yellow") and Arctic Monkeys (the album"AM"). And also any popular song that gets stuck in his head (California girls we're unforgettable, daisy dukes bikini on top-).

Classics for Elliott! Our dear writer - and without masterpieces of classical music? Unthinkable! Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Grieg, Debussy - all either playing in his little radio on the table, or the writer himself sits down at his piano and plays music by famous composers. He also loves modern classical music, and sometimes light jazz.

Shane listens to rock and heavy metal like Metallica, Ramstein, AC/DC all the time and you won't change my mind (I'll fight for that headcanon). I like to think he just lies on his bed, turns on his music player and plays the loudest heavy rock you can imagine in his headphones. One of his favourite songs that he listens to all the time is "For whom the bell tolls" (Metallica).

SDV bachelorettes:

Actually, I always thought that Maru would like synthwave and retrowave genre. I don't know why, but it would be just her style to include a playlist with synthwave artists (all Home songs, especially "Resonance" and "Head first"). If this genre is a too calm and the young inventor wants something a bit more energetic, her choice would be Daft Punk (Around the world, around the woooooooooooooorld!) or Disclosure ("Grab her" and "Omen" are her favorite songs).

Abigail's choices are quite chaotic. One moment she can listen to dark electro (Owl vision - "Horus" and "Holy shit"), and the next moment the amethyst lover admires folk music and promises herself that she will also learn to play the flute (Percival Schuttenbach - almost all songs, but especially "Karanfilce" and "Lazare", as well as Sowulo - the whole album "Sol"). She is also a lover of video game soundtracks and dark ambient. As I said before, pretty chaotic music taste.

All the popular pop, dance-pop and R&B you can think of - that's what Haley's playlist is. Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Britney Spears.... Haley doesn't have a particular favourite song, she likes everything. In the evening she likes to listen to the same pop and dance music songs, but in slowed down version + reverb.

Emily just can't live without energetic dance music. She could probably compete with Sam for the title of Starview Valley's music lover. And the genres can be diverse: from electro-swing (Caravan Palace) to Latin music (don't play Kaoma - "Lambada" in front of her, otherwise she will drag you to dance), from RnB (Beyoncé) to disco (Bee Gees).

When classical music is played, Penny falls into a melancholic mood. She is particularly affected by Claude Debussy's cycle of six piano pieces "Children's Corner", and she loves to listen to the piano version and the orchestra version equally. Besides classics, the young teacher also likes to listen to Enya (she always sheds tears when she listens to "May it be" or "Aniron"). But Penny will shed real rivers of tears if she hears the soundtrack from Titanic (especially "Hymn to the Sea").

If you ask Leah about her favourite music, the artist will name you a few groups of indie music and alternative music. After all, those are her favourite genres. In her free time, she sometimes likes to relax listening to Slenderbodies (especially "Belong" and "Opal ocean"), or Glass Animals (she can listen to the whole "Zaba" album all day long and she won't get bored). Leah also loves listening to songs by the indie duo King of Convenience (especially "Mrs Cold").

i'm trying to get into the fandom but i'm scared so please interact >_< ...also if these have been said before i'M SORRY--

*mostly ass trio with some adjacent stuff because i love them sm =(((

ass trio like to collect old tech and physical media. abby collects old games and consoles, sam collects cds/vinyl, sebastian collects cds and movies (mostly vhs but he'll also fw dvds).

we all know sebastian's a ginger but how about abby cutting and dyeing his hair every month??? *melts*

speaking of dyeing hair, sam has darker hair like his mom but she helps him bleach and tone it. he started doing it to look more like his dad but it kinda just stuck.

jodi always wanted a daughter and for a while resented having two sons. though, the older she gets (and the more the learns about sam specifically) the less she silently resents them. she just asks sam if he wants to do certain things with her (like go get mani-pedis at the beginning of summer) and sam is always like 'FUCK YEAH' (minus the fuck, jodi hates cursing) because he loves his mom, loves self care, and isn't ashamed of either of those things.

sebastian is also a mama's boy. a really big mama's boy. he tells robin anything and everything and she's usually the first person he goes to, abby being the second.

abby/seb wlw/mlm solidarity. i don't make the rules. they are also bonded like cats and should not be separated. live laugh love platonic intimacy and soulmates. i'm talking abby playing with seb's hair, forehead kisses, dancing with each other just cause, etc. etc. <3

sam is so very midwest/5th wave emo coded. not explicitly those genres but i'm definitely talking american football, origami angel, sunny day real estate, etc. he's also into some dad rock because of kent. listening to mid-late 90s/2000s bands while in the car with his dad is a very fond memory of his.

sebastian my artist king!!! he's a bit of a perfectionist but he's really good and sometimes abby and sam ask him why he chose to pursue coding instead. he says it's because he doesn't wanna lose a fun hobby/form of self expression (and he's so real for that).

sebastian is entirely content with sitting in silence with people. he actually prefers it. come sit on his couch while he codes for hours on end and remind him to eat and drink and he'll love you forever. and if he's not coding, watch a movie or play a game that doesn't require insane co-op skills. anything that doesn't require him to talk too much or he'll probably end up spilling his guts by accident. will it make sense? no. but if he finds the words to describe how he's feeling, he's gonna say them.

on that note, sebastian is very bad at hiding his emotions and equally as bad at handling them. he's also the kind of guy that would let you come over just to rant, hand you some tissues if you cry, but wouldn't have much input.

sam, on the other hand, is very good at hiding his emotions and bottles things up for other people's sake. this comes from having to fill the role of his dad while he was away at war and step up as that father figure for vincent. he's very good at supporting you if you're upset but will probably fumble trying to find the proper words.

abby is like the middle ground, everything depending on the situation. though, she tends to be a bit hot headed; passive aggressive. if someone hurt you, she's already up wrapping her hands so she doesn't break them punching someone in the face.

speaking of abby being ready to throw hands, that girl is built, okay? she goes in the mines and swings that sword often enough to have some jacked ass arms and shoulders. she still likes being a pretty girl tho, don't get it twisted. she's just a jacked pretty girl >:3

abby and sam definitely bond quicker than sam and sebastian. they have a lot more things in common on the surface. their music tastes overlap a bit more, they're both the kind to cut up their clothes imperfectly for the vibes, and are equally as wild/bubbly.

abby!!! likes!!! to!!! rollerblade!!! inlines!!!! specifically!!! her and sam stay busting their ass in the town square.

sam's got a sleeper build for real. he's generally a bigger guy, in terms of height and such, but you wouldn't know he's got strength unless you saw him do something. working out is another thing he did casually to be like his dad but also, vincent was very needy when he was a toddler and he still likes to be carried around if jodi'll let sam do it.

jodi is a very soft, "hidden" supporter. she's the kind of mom that would have a pride pin/ribbon on her bag year round and randomly buy sam new music/skating equipment despite complaining about the noise/injuries.

robin is a very loud, "in your face" supporter. she also doesn't sugar coat a damn thing despite trying to look at things in a more optimistic light. she can and will embarrass you in front of your friends.

caroline is a reluctant, "if you must" supporter. she hates most of what abby chooses to do and takes a long time to warm up, but eventually comes around. it's usually the result of jodi and robin explaining to her that things are never that serious (like abby dyeing her hair and cutting her clothes up). sometimes she just needs to be reminded she too was young once.

vincent loves swearing and torments both jodi and penny with all the new ways he tries to curse without actually saying "bad words". see: "what the chicken butt!!!" (he definitely doesn't get it, but he tries to pretend he does.)

robin panic cooks/bakes at any inconvenience or event. you're hurt? sick? it's your birthday? you got a promotion? she's in the kitchen at the crack of dawn tearing the place apart to make something perfect. did i also mention she's a mess and will try to multitask, failing miserably? (there have been multiple times she's done the same step of a recipe twice because she forgot and it almost always ends up leading to massive batches of food she has to give away.)

As a Lee:

Ominis

aside from Anne, Sebastian, and MC, he isn't comfortable with anyone else touching him because he doesn't trust anyone, so those are the only three people who dare try it

his family only ever touched him to inflict pain, so the first time Anne did it he had no idea what was happening or why it was making him laugh and he freaked out at first

his sense of touch is heightened, so he's ridiculously sensitive to light touches

he'll only really tolerate it in private because he uncontrollably giggles like a little kid and he feels embarrassed when he hears himself laugh like that

he won't actively fight them off unless he gets overstimulated, because he's so touch-starved and he knows this kind of interaction is done out of love

not gonna lie, sometimes he lowkey craves it and will instigate to provoke it... he'd never admit it though

his defense is to curl up in a little ball because since he can't see,q he doesn't want to risk clocking somebody in the face... he may have accidentally on purpose punched Sebastian in the ribs once or twice though

if he's tickled long enough his giggling will get broken up by snorts and it's the cutest shit you've ever heard in your entire life

his worst spots are his sides and light touches on his neck; if you barely touch his neck, he will immediately jam his shoulders up into his ears and squeak

this boy is deathly ticklish EVERYWHERE

because of that, he will put up a hell of a fight but will tire out quickly

his hips and above his knees are his worst spots and he will scream and go into maniacal cackles if you get him there

if you get him in public, he will resort to growling to try to cover up his laughter... got that tough guy reputation to maintain you know

he will be unintentionally violent and flail, so if you're brave enough to attack him you'd better know how to dodge and weave or you're gonna get chickenwinged in the nose

he'll try to fight it and repeatedly say he's not ticklish... even in the middle of frantic giggles and high pitched squeals

he's also overdramatic and will tell you that he's dying and can't breathe and sees a bright light etc.

being tortured like that makes him have a potty mouth that would cause a nun to faint

he'd rather die than tap out, so if you don't stop on your own, he will let it get to a point where his laugh goes silent and you just see him shaking and slapping at your hands like a fish flopping out of water

when you finally stop he will lay there for a good five minutes still giggling and twitching because all of his nerves can still feel it

As a Ler:

Ominis

with his heightened senses of touch and hearing he'll be able to figure out your worst spots quickly based on how your body tenses and how your laughs and squeaks sound

he'll jump from spot to spot just to hear how your laugh changes and it's like music to him

he's meticulous but playful, and he has pianist hands so his agile fingers will dance over your spots and make you crazy

he wouldn't tell anyone, but he's kind of obsessed with affectionate touching (handholding, hugs, cuddling, etc.), so it only makes sense that he loves being able to do this to people he cares about

he will be stone-faced and emotionless like a Vulcan aside from an occasional smirk when he finds a weak spot

his verbal teases are more matter-of-fact than making fun (ex: "My goodness, that sounds like a sensitive spot. I'll need to remember that one for the future.")

if he hears you getting hoarse or running out of breath, he'll stop and ask if you're alright or if he went too hard on you

aftercare is important - he'll let you rest against him, he might rub his palm over the spots he attacked so your nerves calm down

he's gentle with Anne and MC... but Sebastian always does something to deserve it and Ominis frequently makes him beg for mercy

it's not uncommon to find Sebastian facedown on the floor in the Undercroft with Ominis straddled on his back torturing him and demanding for him to yield; Sebastian is the only person he will be that ruthless with

he's a ruthless ler, especially if it's retaliation

he'll resort to it if he's trying to get you to do something for him or divulge a secret and you're being stubborn

once he finds your worst spot, he'll exploit it every time

he'll sneak up behind you and give your sides a quick squeeze to spook you

he's not above doing it if you're in a sour mood and it'll make you smile, but only as a last effort if nothing else worked

verbal teases... this boy will playfully tease you about your laugh, your sensitivity, how cute he finds it when you try and fail to break out of his hold, how flustered you're getting, anything

if you're dating him, it's a part of flirting and foreplay

he used to tickle Anne when they were younger because the carefree laugh she had could light up the whole room, but after she was cursed he felt like he would break her if he so much as hugged her and he misses that closeness

that's part of why he loves that kind of bond with others he feels comfortable with; he loves being able to make people he cares for laugh like that

I think that's all the headcanons for both of them that I have for now. I might add more after I finish playing through the whole game myself. I honestly did not expect to love two Slytherin boys so much. They're written so much better than JKR ever wrote Slytherin characters.

so basically, he never gets drunk without a reason

His liquor of choice is either rum or tequila

prefers red wine over white wine

he's a lot more friendly to others while drunk. Not because he has to, but because he actually wants to.

a fun night out, birthdays, partying with Ronald, a nice dinner, nothing a bit of alcohol couldn't make more fun

she can and will drink if she has the chance to. But don't worry, Grell knows when to stop before it gets too much

she prefers red wine (who would have thought...), but also likes some cocktails mai tai and tequila sunrise

Grell manages to be even more energetic while drunk

it doesn't take much for her to get tipsy

tries something new every now and then, but he tends to buy wine and way too expensive gin the most

but it takes a while until he actually is under the influence of it

drunk Claude comes in a happy and in a sad option

the happy one is similar to Sebastian, only that he is even more talkative

did you know he had an emo phase? Well, now you do. Want to know how lava tastes? Really not pleasant, like liking a rock but a lot hotter with the stinging taste of dry ash to it.

but when he tends to go towards the sad side, he just stares into a candle flame and talks to it, how soothing its' light is, how unfair his life is compared to those of others.

but no matter which one you got, he just can't seem to think straight anymore

which also means that he can go from sad to horny in a matter of seconds, telling you straight forward that he wants to be inside you right now

he doesn't get hung over anymore

S/O GETS SOUP ALL OVER THEIR DRESS (william, moran and albert)

warning: slight nsfw for moran's scenario?? actually it's kinda suggestive soooo 😳

You and william would be on a date in this beautiful restaurant.

It was a weekday and there weren't much customers since you two had went to the restaurant at an odd time.

You were seated at a table near the the window, over viewing the beautiful street.

William had ordered a egg dish and some bread for the two of you while you went for a soup dish to satisfy your soup craving.

You and william were just casually talking about the things you two wanted to do in the afternoon when you reached for your water glass, you accidentally hit the bowl of your soup, pouring it all over your lap.

Thank god, the soup wasn't that hot anymore 😳

William would chuckle lightly at your clumsiness and get up from his seat, holding the table napkin, offering to help you clean up.

"i-i'm so sorry—" you squeaked softly as you gently pushed back your chair, looking at the small mess you have made.

"It is alright love." William would softly say as he pushed his chair back, swiftly picking up the table napkin and walking over to you. "Let me clean you up, hmm?"

You could only blush and nod at his offer as he gently dabbed at the spots that were soaked in soup contents. He smiled softly at you as he continued cleaning the spots that could be cleaned.

"Hmm, some of the spots won't come off but" He softly said before standing up to put the napkin onto the table, he immediately took his coat off of his chair and placed it on your lap. "Here, wear my coat later on so that you can hide the soup stains." william would say with a soft smile.

"thank you, love. i am sorry for the mess....i'm just a little clumsy you know." You would say as you scoot back into your chair and looking down at your lap.

William had taken his seat across from you and had placed some bread on your plate. "That's alright darling, I think it's cute that you are clumsy and it really doesn't matter because after all, you are my clumsy little angel." he would say before flashing you the most sweetest smile.

This man would take you to a resto-bar because he’s obviously going to drink with you.

Doesn’t matter what time it is cause he will get you two some alcoholic drinks.

You two were on a casual date since you suggested that you two should get out of the house and do something together like other couples do.

So that is how you both ended up dinning at a resto-bar.

He would order a rice meal perhaps a chicken dish or a curry meal while you opt for a light meal such as a fish and chips kind of meal. 

Luckily, today was free soup day and so the shop owners gave every customer free soup which was pumpkin soup.

The soup was at the counter and you had to claim it for yourself and moran was feeling “lazy” to get the soup and he really didn’t want any so you made your way to the counter.

As you were getting the free soup, a little girl from behind accidentally bumped into you, causing the bowl of soup to splatter all over your dress and onto the floor. 

The mother of the child was quick to apologize and so was the owner, you just softly smiled and told them it was okay. 

You went back to the table, your dress drenched in pumpkin soup, as you stood next to moran.

He would look up from his glass of water and his eyes would go a little wide, definitely from shock.

“Oh my... what happened to you my dear?” Moran would ask as he faces you, his glass being set down onto the table.

“a little girl, bumped into me and i accidentally spilled the soup onto myself.” you say softly as you look down at your pumpkin covered dress.

Moran sighed softly before reaching for the napkins and wetting it with some water from his glass. “Can’t really blame you” he said as he smiled. “Come here, let me clean the chunks off.” 

You stepped forward and let moran wipe and dab at the small pumpkin chunks that were scattered all over your dress, you watched as he cleaned the stains with the napkin he had. 

“the pumpkin soup would have tasted delicious.” you softly said before lightly pouting as he continued to clean your dress. You really wanted to taste the soup but with the little accident, you dare not go near soups again.

“I am pretty sure it was delicious but,” moran said as he finished dabbing your dress, he looked up at you, mischief dancing in his eyes as he lightly smirked. “Bet you would taste even better than the pumpkin soup.” 

“s-sebastian!” you would say as your cheeks turn bright red from his words, you instantly hit his shoulder just enough to wipe the smirk off of his face. 

“Ow!” He would say before pulling back and sitting properly. “I did not expect you to hit me, babe.” 

“d-don’t say such unnecessary things then!!” you would reply before taking a seat across from him. He could only laugh at your reaction before putting the napkins away. 

I headcanon that albert likes taking you out for fancy dinner dates.

You two would probably end up at a nice restaurant somewhere in town. 

You would be seated by the window, over viewing a nice river. The moonlight shining down on the river and you could see the water sparkle.

Albert would be seated across from you, he would be going through the menu as you look at the beautiful view.

He would ask you what you would like to have and you would end up getting a pasta dish since you kind of like pasta more than anything else. While albert would opt for a steak meal and some wine for the two of you.

Of course there would be an appetizer which was the cream of mushroom soup which both you and albert would enjoy anyways since it is soup.

When the soup was delivered to your table, the waitress in-charge accidentally misbalanced the soups on the tray thus the soup fell onto your lap and yes it was hot.

Albert immediately stood up as he watched your eyes widen is shock from the heat of the soup, the waitress immediately apologized to you. 

You could only smiled and forgive her as you took the napkins into your hands and gently clean up the mess on your lap. 

Albert stood next to you as he picked up some napkins and helped you clean up. He would then eventually take of the outer layer of his suit and give it to you.

“Did your thighs get burnt or anything?” He would ask softly as he crouched down and wiped the remaining soup off of your dress, his fingers brushing over your thigh. You could only pout and hiss a little since the soup did quite burn your thighs when the content fell onto them.

“it kind of got burnt since the soup was quite hot.” you said softly as he reached for the ice pack the waitress had left on your table for the outcome of the hot soup. He let you gently ice your thighs through the fabric of your dress. “my dress is a bit ruined now... and so is our dinner, i am sorry albert.” 

“Don’t apologize, love. It was an accident and our night is not yet ruined alright? As for the dress, I will get you new ones in replacement for this one. For now, how about we go home and ice your thighs , hmm?” He would suggest as he stood up, giving his hand out for you to hold. “We can take out the dinner and just have it at home.” Albert softly smiled at you as you looked up at him. 

Maybe your dress and dinner was ruined by the hot cream of mushroom soup and maybe your thighs ache from the burn but seeing albert smile at you and take care of you made everything better.

'Ciel' Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji is autistic

Hello, I bring you today a Headcanon from the principal character of Kuroshitsuji called 'Ciel Phantomhive' (Not real name for the people who's read the manga), it is an autistic headcanon and a theory because I really think that he is autistic until Yana says otherwise. So let's get started.

Reasons why Ciel is autistic

1.- Has difficult to dance and make sports. We know that Ciel doesn't like to dance and make sports, except ride horses, hunt and play chess, but, maybe there's a reason why. If we analyze very careful, watching the anime and seeing the details in the manga, he's has difficult to do those activities; Usually, autistic people have difficulty dancing or playing sports and it is because their body, or rather, their psycomotriz is not made for that. They do not have good coordination with their body and therefore cannot move to the taste like others or get tired quickly.

2.- Doesn't like to socialize. Ciel is very introverted and he's doen't like to socialize with other people except with him family like the Midfords, and also, he's doesn't like to go festivals and fairs in London. Some autistic people are very introverted and has difficult to socialize with others, and they don't have a good communication sometimes, and yeah, there are autistic that doesn't like to socialize.

3.- Disgust at being touched and tenderness in the ears. Sebastian in the serie metioned that Ciel is very sensitive and that's why the people has to be carefull when they touch him, also, when Lizzy and Soma hug him, he's try to separate them because he hate it; also in the series we see how in an episode of the first season he covers his ears since the sound is quite loud for him while running, this is a sign that there are possibly noises or sounds that bother him, more if there are several people talking at the same time near him which generates some stress. Autistic people doesn't like the touch and they hate lourder sounds and some neet use the headphones all the time because they are very sensitive with the exterior sounds and those things stress them.

4.- He like toys, play games and teas. In the manga, we see a collection of tea, games and toys in Ciel's mansion, something some autistic people do when they like a specifically thing like dinosaurs, teddy bears, videogames, and more. Especially he's like teas, that's why he knows about teas when he's smell before drink. And yes, about the games and toys, he occasionally relates the situations in which he passes as a kind of "game" and in one episode of the firts season of Kuroshitsuji, he's plan how to take a photo of Sebastian with toys.

5.- The way he speaks and intelligence. Autistic people has one form to speak and it's monotome. Ciel speaks like that and, very elegant, some persons are very educate when they talk and it's a little hard that autistic people say bad words; Ciel say one bad word in the manga, but, after not. Ciel is very smarth too, one of the qualities of autistics, not all autistic people, but most do. In the manga, since his childhood it has been shown that Ciel is smarter than his twin brother and therefore, he was chosen to be the queen's watchdog (a great job he has done since he was appointed as count also with the help of Sebastian).

dancing + kurt

Kurt does enjoy dancing, i mean we know that because of Single Ladies, but its not his most favourite thing to do (see First Time and Blame It On The Alcohol) he mostly likes to watch others dance if he's in a club or at a party, he's actually kind of a wallflower - unless of course he's trying to keep Sebastian's hands off of Blaine. That being said, I can see Kurt enjoying, maybe, ballroom dancing, or going swing dancing. Something more old-fashioned like he'd see in his favourite old black and white movies. Chummel popped into my head first, for obvious reasons, but I'm imagineing a senario where Kurt is some famous Broadway star, or some household name in fashion, or whatever, and he's invited onto Dancing With The Stars. now, we know they're willing to do same sex pairs (thank you JoJo Siwa! (and also Nicola Adams who did it first on Strictly (british DWTS) last year and John Whaite as the first male/male pair on Strictly this year, apparently!)) So Kurt requests this, and he gets paired up with Mike - they'd lost touch a few years back and Kurt isn't actual a DWTS fan so he didn't know Mike was a dancer on it (or maybe he's new and Kurt is a fan idk) and they have loads of fun dancing and catching up and they win the competition and get together.

camping + sam

Sam is definately a camper! and whoever he's with will have to just deal with that. But they love him so they put up with it. I'm imagining Samcedes, after getting back together around their 30s would go camping a lot when Mercedes isn't on tour. Either they'd go somewhere in Ohio near Lima or they'd go up to the mountains in LA/California and camp there, maybe even somewhere around the appalachians in New York. Mercedes demands it's more like Glamping though, maybe in some cool Air BnB in nature without other people where there's running water but it still feels like camping enough to Sam. This could also really work with Hevans, but I can imagine Kurt actually starting to kinda like camping. I mean, Burt totally took him a few times when he was a kid, but he didn't like the bugs and the dirt. But with Sam it's easier, because Kurt's in love. So he puts up with it, and begins to really get into, like, making campfires and roasting marshmellows. Maybe they go for the first time with Burt and Carole and Finn the summer before S4. and then, when Kurt and Sam are together (idk how in this senario) they go to the same campground in Ohio, or places around the appalachians. Blam, however? Blaine would totally be up for camping with Sam. idk why because he doesn't look like the type exactly but I can see Blaine, in all his button up shirts and bow tied glory, being at one with nature sitting outside a tent roasting marshmellows and making smores with their adorable little toddler next to him and Sam looking at the scene with heart eyes. (I couldn't choose just one ship for some reason... my multishipping heart is too big)

traveling + jesse

I'mma do St. Cooper because it's fun to ship them. So Jesse, after years of theatre, realises that maybe he's not the hot commodity he was in High School and he sells out and starts doing commercials and TV just to get his name out there. he hates it just so we're clear. Because he's a theatre snob. Anyway, on a job he meets Cooper. it's for a TV show set all over Europe or something and they're playing small bit roles, glorified extras really, but still, they've got a lot of time to wait around and do nothing and they're being paid to do so and traveling all around europe, so as the two glorified extras in the show they hang out together a lot and just explore the cities or towns or small little villiages in the english countryside where they're filming. and eventually they fall in love. neither of them have any idea they both have connections to the New Directions until Cooper introduces Jesse to his family like a year later, namely Blaine and Kurt, and all hell breaks loose (mostly Kurt accusing Jesse of having some nefarious plan.)

food + adam

Adam is always on the look out for british shops or restuarants in New York, but hardly any of them are right. But somehow, when he and Kurt start going out, Kurt shows him this little high tea place in Brooklyn (which totally feels out of place in the hipster neighbourhood) that is perfect. it has his brand of tea!!! and trust me, even as a non-tea drinking brit this is a thing here. Sure, most people will be fine with any if you're at a person's house, but there is a lot of debate over which is better. Tetley? PG Tips? Yorkshire Tea? Adam himself is a PG Tips man for English Breakfast tea, mostly because of their little monkey mascot that he remembers fondly from his childhood and because it was the first cup of tea he ever had. And this place had it and they brewed it to perfection and now he and Kurt go there for most of their dates and Adam talks the owners (a nice old british couple from surprisingly close to his hometown in Essex) and convinces them to let him buy boxes of the tea for himself to make at home. (okay so this is less food and more drink ahaha)

mornings + rachel

Rachel is such a morning person it's obnoxious. The only person I can think of who would be right there with her, ship wise, is Jesse. Who is also an obnoxious morning person. They would both be up at like... 5am, and working out in the gym of their apartment building together looking out at the manhatten skyline (because they totally live in one of those fancy expensive appartments), and then running scales at their piano and doing scenes at their breakfast table as their cook makes breakfast (because they are both terrible cooks, though Rachel can at least bake well)

autumn + tina

Tina loves autumn, but not the snuggly sweaters, pumpkin spice latte autumn. Tina is all about spoopy season. From September until Early November her home is decked out with Halloween decorations. She likes the tasteful gothic look, slightly celestial. She has crystals and skulls and purples and oranges, and on the week leading up to halloween proper she adds spider webs and skeletons and vampires, tacky plastic monsters that sing The Monster Mash as you walk past them and pumpkin string lights. I can imagine Artie haveing fun decorating with her, with his director brain, and he and her would dress up their kids and they'd all make cute little home videos and 'horror' movies each year. and of course they'd all go trick or treating.

Sorry if this is inappropriate or weird, it's gonna be a long ask, feel free to ignore if u like, anyway, to the point... a friend of mine asked me to read a Kurtbastian fic (I'm a multishipper but always Klaine above all), I usually stick to Klaine fics but I've already read 1 Kurtbastian and liked it enough so I thought I give this one a chance... I'm already invested and I have this thing where I have to finish things even if they're not really my cup of tea, but this fic is just so toxic against Blaine and Klaine in general, I don't know how my friend managed to like it and still ship Klaine, (I still do, don't get me wrong) but even tho it's an interesting read, it takes some canon s5 things and twists them in a emotionally manipulative way and it even gives me headache, it's just so well written and logical that makes me doubt about Blaine, they are some things in canon that I never understood but ignored them, like the cheating of course, how he blamed Kurt for it and this fic claims that Blaine is jealous of him and doesn't think he's as talented as him or Rachel and is selfish, and judges everything he does, like his workout and eating habits, or only does good things for him when he wants something in return

Or saying he's agressive for lashing out to Finn and Sam, and that thing in the car in Scandals

And also that Kurt only slept with Blaine because he was afraid he would go with Sebastian, because they've been texting a lot, and they we're dancing all night, and honestly I never found a way to explain that myself, cause it does look like Seb made him a little horny and he wanted to blow some steam with Kurt

So they use plots like those to say he would eventually hit Kurt (the episode bash does not exist in this au) and that he was always manipulating him but mostly in s5...so I guess I could use some reassurance if you're up for it, I really like your metas and headcanons about Klaine, I know neither Kurt or Blaine are perfect but they're still some behaviors I never understood myself but ignored them and this fic gives them logical but toxic explanations (also in this fic Seb changed a lot and apologized to Kurt and is this very sweet guy who has a perfectly logical explanation as to way he was the way he was to Kurt in high school, so that's why he seems better than Blaine in comparison in this fic lol) (also this fic claims Blaine would cheat again if Sam was gay or bi, and he did cheat in this fic and they paint him as a compulsive liar who lies to everyone about his relationship, to Kurt, to Sam, to Burt)

So what's your opinion I guess lol, why is Blaine not like this fic says?, I know he's a ray of sunshine who loves Kurt and would never hurt him on purpose but I'm kinda forgetting why, I'm scared lol

Mm okay first of all Blaine antis will do anything they can to paint him in the absolute worst possible light. No room for nuance or reason, he's just evil and manipulative and abusive. I've seen plenty of Blaine discourse but only ever purposefully read (at least part of) one anti Blaine fic where Blaine literally stole Kurt's NYADA acceptance letter and forged a new rejection letter and put it back in his mailbox. Just so he could comfort Kurt after his "rejection", then for some reason talk him into going to NY anyway, and also apparently planned for them to grow apart solely so he could have an excuse to cheat and then get mad at Kurt for getting distant? And people in the comments were like "This makes everything make so much sense! This is totally something Blaine would do! This explains everything!" like I was literally in shock lmao. I could not believe my eyeballs

And with Sebastian, literally any good trait you give him is 100% fictional. Whatever boohoo poor little rich boy story is given to him in fic, I can only imagine. But there's no evidence of that in canon. All we get in canon is that it takes Karofsky trying to kill himself before Sebastian realizes he's been an asshole to everyone. And even that's being generous bc he literally only says "I've treated everything like a joke. ... It's all fun and games until it's not". So being a rude and racist piece of shit and literally putting someone in the hospital was all for shits and giggles I guess

The whole "jealous of each other" thing I think is an old standby argument to explain why Klaine are incompatible. Bc they'll always be competing in life. So obviously it's better that they find a partner that won't push them to be better or challenge them in any way, I suppose. Y'know, bc there's no way a relationship can have two strong personalities and talents in it :|

And yes, he does have some pent up anger that, like I said, can manifest itself in unhealthy ways. I see where he was coming from in 3x08 but he definitely went too far and struck a nerve with Sam. But Sam was the one that physically lashed out first. But honestly, even if the fight hadn't been broken up immediately, I don't think it would've lasted that long. Blaine only took up boxing in the first place as self defense. He'd rather go toe to toe with a punching bag than actively try and harm someone else. And he would never lash out at Kurt like that. None of their fights ever got close to physical. Except for, again, stage combat class with prop swords. That's not exactly on the same level

For 3x05... Kurt was already self conscious and worried about boring Blaine before Sebastian even came along. But Blaine reassured him that he was "the single most interesting kid in all of Ohio". Kurt didn't want Blaine to be unsatisfied, but Blaine assured Kurt that he was fine taking things slow, and that no matter what happened, the important thing was that they were both comfortable. It's obvious that during the week, Sebastian ends up getting under both their skins. I think they go to Scandals just to keep up with Sebastian but that's it. If Kurt's only reason for having sex with Blaine was to keep him on the hook, he would've forced himself to get physical with him in the car in the parking lot. But he didn't. He put his foot down and told Blaine this wasn't what he wanted. And Blaine didn't understand at first, but did once he sobered up. And he made sure to apologize, and reassured Kurt that Sebastian meant nothing to him (lots of words of affirmation this ep!) Kurt cracks a joke, they kiss, and Kurt makes up his mind on his own that this is the right time for them, and they go back to Blaine's place. No manipulation in sight

As for cheating on Sam... That really is only an anti Blaine fanfic problem bc it could not happen in canon bc canon!Sam is only straight. Sorry bout it :/ Even if he was bi in canon, the closest we ever saw Blam was in s4 when Klaine was broken up. They could've gone for it then and it wouldn't have mattered. But in the show, even when Blaine was at a low point, there was never anything to suggest he was looking to stray again. Early s4 was a special kind of low point for Blaine and he never got there again. Even with his troubles in s5, it's not like he was turning to Sam for comfort or reassurance. He confronted Elliott once in anger, but every other time we see him and Kurt sit down in the end and talk out their issues. The only way it would make sense for Blaine to seek out someone else is if some random fanfic writer said "I'm going to make Blaine seek out someone else" and then rewrote everything around it to make their story make more sense. Which, again, is twisting canon into something it's not

And the liar thing doesn't even make sense. Like I mention in the cheating post, he's literally one of the veryyy few people that does wrong and then immediately tries to make it right instead of hiding it as long as he can. He goes to NY to confess to Kurt right after. And he tells Sam exactly what happened, too. Like we literally see a flashback of Blaine feeling awful and regretting what he did, then Blaine tells Sam he felt awful and regretted what he did. Idk where the lie was supposed to be. Some people will come up with anything they can I guess

About the soulmate, this is really though. I'm gonna tell you it I'd choose my soulmate but it wouldn't be without regrets. Long answer - most under the cut!

Well thank you for asking! I’ve been with the #MakeJaalBi tag since it began so I’ve been trying to keep everyone up to date on it as much as I can. I actually was using the tag before we started to use it to get the devs and company’s attention, but it was this person’s idea for all of us to join together using the tag.

I hope I can answer your questions to the best of my ability and if anything still needs to be clarified please let me know. I’ve been really busy and tired lately so if I don’t make sense at some point, please let me know and I’ll try to word that part better or clarify what I meant. c: Also hope you don’t mind, I’m answering parts of your question as I read it. I’m reading your question as I type, hope that’s okay. Also, if any of the links in this don’t work, please let me know as that means I need to edit the links. ^^

Firstly, there is actual dialogue from Scott’s VA that was recorded for the romance, and we can assume he recorded enough for the whole romance ‘cause he seemed to assume that Jaal would be a bi romance. However, I don’t know if Jaal’s VA recorded anything that is specifically for a Scott Ryder romance because I haven’t seen any lines found or released. Now if some lines have been found, anyone who knows about them, please add the links to them to this post as I’d love to have that info.

I admittedly have not watched all of Jaal’s romance, I’ve just seen gifsets from it because it’s a bit painful for me to watch his romance right now because of everything that’s happened. However I wouldn’t be surprised if his romance is catered toward straight women - I believe we can argue that Peebee’s romance, or at least the sex scene, could be catered toward men because of how the Sara side of the romance is like a copycat of Scott’s side.

I don’t think swapping Sara for Scott in the mlm side of Jaal’s bi romance would solve the problem because the problem, itself, is the overall constant bi-erasure on Bioware’s part - I’ve known that Cullen was supposed to be a bi romance and I’ve heard the same about Solas and Sebastian though someone else would have to confirm those two as I’m not 100% sure, but that’s the Dragon Age team. What I’ve been told about the Mass Effect team is that Kaidan is believed to have almost been a bi romance in the first game (in the game’s code, itself, there are romance dialogue lines by male Shepard’s VA), and I’ve been informed that both Tali and Thane were going to be bi romances at one point. The problem is that whenever bi romances are cut, the romances are always made into straight romances rather than gay romances, giving off the feeling that Bioware caters toward its straight fans, whether or not this is true, this is how it comes off.

Now, I myself am bi (biromantic is part of my identity), however it’s necessary to remember that not all bi people are the same. ^^ You also have to remember that the romance lines we’re hearing for Jaal right now, we can easily say they’re meant for Sara. We have no clue if there’s a difference in the dialogue lines for Scott because so far, if these lines exist, they are unavailable for us. I would have to watch and compare other bi romances such as Peebee and Vetra’s, comparing what they say to Scott vs. Sara to see if there’s much of a difference. Sometimes in bi romances there are, and other times they’re not.

Most of the time when wanting a bi romance, I’ve seen that people don’t want the “gay” (using quotation marks because just because people of the same sex are dating doesn’t automatically make the relationship gay because the people in the relationship may not identify as gay, if that makes sense? Sorry if I didn’t explain that the best) half of the romance to be much, if any, different from the “straight” half. It’s often a complaint, looking at the Dragon Age team, that in Dragon Age 2, when romancing Anders, Anders tells a male Hawke about his romantic history with Karl, a man, but he doesn’t mention it to a female Hawke at all. I’ve seen that many fans of Anders’ romance wish he would tell a female Hawke that as well.

Most of the time, when I’ve seen differences between male protags and female protags romancing a bi character, it’s been in small, little bits such as compliments or ways the character refers to the protagonist. Let’s look at the Dragon Age team again for this (I’ve played more Dragon Age romances than I have Mass Effect so I apologize if majority of my examples are for Dragon Age). With Zevran’s romance, when Morrigan asks him in a party banter his reasoning for staying with them, Zevran says “ We all have our reasons for doing what we do.” however the following line depends on the sex of his protagonist (I’m using “sex” instead of “gender” because a lot of fans headcanon their protagonists with nonbinary gender identities, as I do). When romancing a female Warden, Zevran says “Mine happen to come with a set of lovely eyes.” while when romancing a male Warden, he says “Mine happen to come with a set of strong hands.” Often times, from what I’ve seen, any dialogue changes are something simple like that.

I think, when romancing Jaal, it’d be up to LGBTQ+ men (I’m using “LGBTQ+” instead of generalizing to “queer” because I know there are people in the community who do not like that word and I don’t want to offend anyone

A lot of them in fact aren’t happy with how Gil’s romance feels so much centered around gay men not being able to have babies (which ignores the existence of trans gay men) and they don’t like how often Gil talks about Jill and how she comes off as pressuring him to have a child. Now Gil’s romance didn’t come off that way to me when I first watched it, but again, I’m not a LGBTQ+ man, I don’t get to decide what’s good representation for them or not.

At this point though, let me point out that not all LGBTQ+ men have to agree on whether or not something is good representation for them. If you’re a LGBTQ+ man and you’re happy with Gil and/or Reyes and their romances, your feelings and opinions are still 100% valid just like those who are not happy.

Most of the frustration at Reyes’ romance, from what I’ve gathered, comes down to the fact that he is considered a fling (and Gil is not a squadmate and thus has less romance cutscenes than squadmate romances and less material and both Gil and Reyes’ cutscenes fade to black and you never get a sex scene like Cora or Peebee, though Liam and Vetra don’t have a sex scene from what I’ve heard either). However since the differences in how Reyes dances with Sara vs. Scott have been pointed out, many are upset about that as well. Reyes’ romance very much feels catered toward straight women.

I would honestly love for Jaal’s writer to come out and say if she/he/they (idk who wrote Jaal) wrote him as bi or not, but due to contracts, I doubt that will happen. There is coding in the game that very much suggests Jaal was meant to be bi and considering Bioware’s history with bi-erasure, it’s easy to believe that.

Now when it comes to Jaal flirting with other women on the crew, bisexuals can have preferences. Looking at Dragon Age, Zevran states his preference for women, but he still loves and adores a male Warden as much as he does a female Warden. A male Warden flirting with him doesn’t stop him playfully flirting with women in the party (see comments he has toward Wynne, which are jokingly of course. He seems to enjoy getting on Wynne’s nerves. I love Zevran so much lol). Jaal can very well have a preference for women (he has dated women in the past, I’ve heard) and still be 100% bi. Having a preference and/or having a history with only one sex doesn’t make someone any less bi (don’t worry, I don’t think you were implying it made someone less bi

It’s very possible that Jaal could act differently to a male Ryder. Every bi person is different. Some act differently when with someone of the same sex or opposite sex, some don’t. If anyone knows if Peebee or Vetra act different depending on Ryder’s sex, please let me know because I haven’t watched their romances yet. I definitely do think LGBTQ+ men would enjoy the romantic and sappy parts of the romance because it’d be different from mlm relationships being sexualized and fetishized. From what I’ve been seeing in the #MakeJaalBi, majority of people in the tag want Scott to be able to have that romantic, sappy romance.

Typically with bi romances, scenes are the same regardless of the protagonist’s sex, though there are small dialogue differences sometimes, like I talked about above. However the changes to cutscenes usually just include taking into consideration the differences between male and female bodies in the game - such as height differences and body shapes. For the most part, I’ve seen that the cutscenes themselves stay the same. Let’s look at Josephine’s romance in Dragon Age Inquisition. *SPOILERS FOR JOSEPHINE’S ROMANCE:* in the scene where you’re about to duel for Josephine, when she jumps into the Inquisitor’s arm, the Inquisitor lifts her up regardless of sex. I’ve seen this cutscene for both male and female Inquisitors and see no real differences.

However I’d like to point out, I’m not an expert on making games, this is all just my assumptions and what I’ve observed. I don’t know anything about making actual games and cutscenes.

When it comes to the code, if Jaal wasn’t originally bi, I don’t see why that code should be there - if the code is real. Let me point out that no one from Bioware or the Mass Effect team have authenticated the code. If the code is real, I don’t understand why it would be in the game if they never planned on Jaal being bi at all. That would just confuse me and if that’s the case and the code is real, I’d like to ask the devs why that code is in the game when they never planned on making Jaal bi. However if the code is real, chances are at one point they did plan on making Jaal bi.

However the main issue with this whole Jaal thing is that we went from Mass Effect 3 who had Kaidan, a squadmate, as a romance available to male Shepards to no male squadmates available for a male Ryder. And from what I’ve heard - and I could be wrong - Jaal plays a big part in the game’s plot? Or one of the big plots? Overall though it feels like to the fans that Andromeda has taken a step back when it comes to mlm representation because they went from having a squadmate (Kaidan) and a crewmate (Steve) in Mass Effect 3 to a crewmate (Gil) and a fling (Reyes). I believe I pointed out earlier that non-squadmate romances get way less content than squadmate romances, but let me get some examples, okay? c:

Gil’s whole romance (uploaded by DanaDuchy) is 19:13 in length, Reyes’ whole romance (also uploaded by DanaDuchy) is 17:58, and let’s compare them to Cora’s. Cora’s whole romance (uploaded by Gamer’s Little Playground) is 27:17 (Peebeee’s romance is even longer). Now the time difference may not seem like much, but majority of squadmate romances are as long as Cora’s, if not longer. If they’re less than Cora’s, it’s usually not by much. (Again, if I’m wrong, please correct me. This is what I’ve been hearing for a long time now, though, that non-squadmate romances always have less content than squadmate romance).

I agree that this is a big mess. I think if Jaal was originally going to be bi and then cut and made straight, Bioware should have seen this whole thing coming because this isn’t their first time erasing the mlm half of a bi male romance. The queerbaiting they did also adds to the fans being upset - In my opinion this post here really helps explain it. That post also really helps to show that it looks like Scott’s VA really did think we’d have a male squadmate romanceable by a male Ryder. That post also goes into talking about the code.

I do think that a patch to make Jaal’s romance bi would be a bandage, but at this point I think that bandage is very much needed. Bioware and the Mass Effect team are going to lose fans without that bandage - whether or not anyone thinks it’s right for them to lose fans over this, we can’t deny that it will happen and is happening (especially if you read some of the #MakeJaalBi tweets). This bandage though if what we want. You have to cover up the wound, you have to apply some pressure to get it to stop bleeding. Bioware and the Mass Effect team need to bandage our wounds, in a metaphorical sense, before they can work on healing these wounds.

Healing these actual wounds, I would suggest should happen in the next game. They need to make a bi!Jaal patch for Andromeda as a bandage and then continue to work toward better LGBTQ+, specifically mlm, representation in their games. If they bring back the Andromeda crew in the next game, add way more to Gil’s romance. Don’t have Gil’s romance fade to black after just a little bit of kissing on a bed because that really pissed people off, especially after they saw how explicit Cora and Peebee’s romances can get (also Jaal’s romance gets explicit, and mlm fans feel that if Jaal was originally going to be bi, the one explicit mlm romance was cut and that’s understandably upsetting). I would also say that add more to Reyes’ romance. They can keep Reyes on his planet, but make his romance more official than a fling and also make sure that intimate moments with Scott aren’t stiff when compared to Sara’s.

Also in future games, add more mlm romance options in general, and don’t make them all human. LGBTQ+ men in the fandom want to romance hot male aliens like everyone else gets to romance the hot aliens. A gay male Turian or Quarian I think the fans would love that.

Making Jaal bi would certainly come off as damage control, and that’s what it would be, but it would also be a sign that the devs and Bioware listen to their LGBTQ+ and mlm fans and actually give two shits about these fans feeling hurt and betrayed once again.

Let’s also look at the Angara real quick. Gay marriage is a thing for the Angara. Yet all Angaran romance options (I believe there is a female Angaran romance that’s considered a fling) are heterosexual. This doesn’t add up to the fans, including myself.

But anyways, making Jaal bi would be, in a sense, damage control that Bioware and their devs desperately need in my opinion. If they make Jaal bi, the devs will get shit, I know for sure, from homophobic/biphobic fans about “giving in” and they’ll say we bullied or harassed them into getting what we want (when in fact we’ve been making sure the tag is used positively and that no one is bullying the devs ‘cause we are taking the possibility that they can’t say anything due to contracts seriously. If anyone is using the tag negatively, we don’t support them and how they’re using the tag).

Don’t worry, I didn’t take this as a “vehement stance against bi!Jaal.” ^^ You were very kind and I’d rather people be like you and just ask/talk this out than attack the tag (someone on Twitter literally said whoever started #MakeJaalBi should kill themselves :| I’d link to the tweet, but I’ve blocked and reported that person so I can’t get to that tweet).
