nice warm day to finally plant some dormant hydrangeas today and then it's going to snow and be pretty again tomorrow 😌❤️
#got all the hydrangeas in bc i ordered the tiniest ones possible to keep it inexpensive <3#i also have a lilac in a gallon pot that was on sale for super cheap but the soil isn't thawed enough to plant something that big#esp where i wanted to put it#so i will have to try again in a few weeks when its warm again lol#but im so happy i got all they hydrangeas planted#they're the huge white ones#i got them bc my friend plans to get married at my house in a few years so the bushes will have time to get big and pretty and established#right now they're teeny tiny they were literally in a four inch pot 😂#but in three years hopefully they'll be nice and big for a wedding :')#so honored my friends want to get married here so i want to make everything nice <3#i also ordered some roses but they're not here yet#the roses i absolutely killed myself with the price tag tho 😬#the hydrangeas and lilac were a great deal and super cheap tho#also the hydrangeas were a gift from my mommy ❤️#she got me eight!!! :0#so they should be stunning in a few years when they get big#my dog bulldozed one to death already running around the yeard bc they're so tiny rn#but hopefully it will come back from the roots 🙏#anyway#i love snow and winter but i missed gardening soooo much#i was sad the snow melted but i really enjoyed having a few warm springlike days and time to plant#and now we're getting snow tomorrow 😊
