My dad is here working on the basement again and he came into the bedroom where I was resting with the cats to give me an update.

and this huge 70-year old midwestern man who can't help but mutter half-hearted cats-are-weird insults every time he sees a feline, starts gently petting Yogurt and adding words like "cute" and "little"

#yogurt #I have yet to meet a single human being who does not instantaneously fall in love with Yogurt specifically #he has mind control powers #no one can resist #my dad has that weird Midwestern Man thing where cats=snooty and dogs=man's best friend #it's rooted in like weird blind sexism #even though my dad is anything but actually sexist #he nontheless thinks all dogs are good boys and all cats are mean girls #I mean Bonnie is happy to be called a good boy as long as she gets a french fry from grandpa #it's just funny to me that in his head animals come in Absolute Genders which are also Good vs. Evil
