I'm being not normal about religion again (specifically orthodox christianity). Living in a culturally and now politiclally religious country is hell.

I don't want you praying for me, it makes me uncomfortable. If you're going to do it anyway do NOT inform me about it just to make yourself feel righteous.

No, it wasn't god who saved my cat. It were the doctors and my family who gave her shots for two weeks straight and skipped work and school to feed her every hour. No, it wasn't god who helped me find a necklace precious to me, it was me combing through every bush looking for it for an hour.

No, I won't be going to church and saying "Praise Jesus" on Easter. I don't believe in him. And the last time I went to church as a child elderly women trampled me trying to get to kiss the rotting corpse of an old guy.

I don't want a priest giving speeches at our places of study and work. I don't want a priest spraying holy water in my home. I don't want the faces of saints to stare at me from the walls.

I live here too. Please. I live here too.
