"i think i really got into mcr a little bit when i first made a tumblr at age 9. so that’s seven years ago ? i didn’t really get deep into the fandom aspect until this year though. i’ve met some great people through this band, they’re all really sweet and it’s a really great community."

Which date of the tour did you attend? 09/18/22, Ameris Bank Amphitheatre, Alpharetta

When did you get your tickets for your show? Was it a struggle, or were they easy to grab? this is actually a really funny story, because i thought i wasn’t going to see them at all. i knew they were going to be at music midtown, but with the history there i wasn’t going to go. and then music midtown got cancelled and i remembered joking to everyone i knew about just driving down to florida and seeing them there. and then it was announced they were actually going to do an atlanta show and i was like damn. i'm still probably not going to be able to go but that’s pretty cool. and i remember the day the tickets went on sale, i'm sitting in first period math and i just get the most cryptic text from my mother that just says “merry christmas”. and i'm sitting there, really unable to ask further because it’s math and i can’t be on my phone. so i get into next period and i pull out my phone and i see that she’s sent me a ticket confirmation screenshot. and i was losing my mind so fucking bad i had to go to the bathroom and i started crying right there in the school bathroom.

What did you wear? shit i went all out. i was the best dressed bitch there LOL. so many pairs of fishnets.

Where were your seats? seats in like the middle section !

What was your favorite song(s) from the setlist they played at your show? SKYLINES AND TURNSTILES

What song were you most hoping to hear? Did you get to hear it? Skylines and Bury Me in Black. hearing those was life changing.

What was your favorite moment from the show? when Skylines started and i just started VIOLENTLY sobbing

What was the most unexpected moment from the show? target employee fit was a highlight fs

Did you snag any merch? What pieces? BOYZONE AND HAUNTED CASTLE SHIRT !!!

Many fans describe seeing MCR live as feeling like coming home. Did you experience anything like that at your show? i think i had a religious experience it was unlike anything i’d ever experienced

If you could change one thing about your show experience, what would it be? i need to be in the pit i need to be close i need to be able to make eye contact with Gerard

Has your perspective or opinion about the band changed since seeing them on this tour? If so, in what way? i will never hear them the same i will never recover

What advice would you give to people seeing My Chemical Romance in the future? if you want to record, record. if you want to sob your eyes out then do that too. so is everyone else. also don’t feel bad about screaming bc you’re “ruining the person next to you’s video” they don’t care i promise
