Chapter 2: A Wizard and a Unicorn

Jimi and co meet a great sage and a unicorn.

The quartet looked out at the castle in the distance and watched as the old lady's face flew back to its owner in the town.

"That should be everyone." Charles said with a smile. "Let's go!"

The team made their way back to Greenhorne, but along the way, Dark Lord Stan interrupted the group. He launched a ball of darkness at Jimi when the rest of the team wasn't paying attention.

"No, no, no, no... Maynard! Charles! Charlene!" Jimi cried out. She closed her eyes and accepted her fate, but the attack never came. She felt a tap on her shoulder and looked up.

An androgynous man with glasses, shoulder-length gray hair, and a wizard's robe was right next to her. He magically held back the Dark Lord, who begrudgingly fled the area.

"Jimi! Are you okay?!" Maynard asked as he and the twins ran towards her.

"Yeah. This guy saved me."

The man waved his wand and some flowers bloomed. "They call me Great Sage Sophie. I'm a travelling wizard."

"Are you like Gandalf?" Maynard asked.

"In a way. I hope you fools won't have to fly." he chuckled.

"Who are you calling fools?!" Charlene shouted angrily.

"You've never read or seen Lord of the Rings?" Jimi asked. "Gandalf says 'fly you fools' before he dies."

"Dude, spoilers!" Charles joked.

"You literally have psychic powers." Charlene said in a deadpan voice.

While the twins were bickering, Sophie awkwardly left. The team quickly regrouped and made their way back to town. Mayor Dudley thanked them and gave them a letter of introduction for the castle guards.

The team headed to the castle to inform the king and found a group of butterflies and goblins attacking a fiery unicorn. The team easily defeated the enemies and helped the horse, whom Jimi recognized as a Rapidash.

The team didn't know what to do with Rapidash, since the inn didn't have a stable. Jimi's amulet suddenly glowed light pink and a stable was added. She smiled and led Rapidash to his room, then she decided to sleep in the stables as well.

"Thank you, inns diety." she said before she drifted off to sleep.

Jimi had a dream about Maynard, her human companion Silver, and an oni named Ogerpon. They were in a void, battling a sun monster with Sophie's face. They were in rough shape when the monster unleashed his final attack. Maynard, Silver, and Ogerpon had their faces stolen, then Jimi got her face stolen.

Jimi woke up and began to whimper and cry. Rapidash heard her and went over to check on her. He rubbed his face against hers and made a happy noise.

Jimi purred and ran her paw down Rapidash's back. His mane was warm, but surprisingly it didn't burn to touch. Eventually, Jimi hugged him and fell back asleep.

"Thanks, Rapidash."

Chapter 1: New and Old Friends

Jimi meets up with a long lost friend and a set of oddly familiar twins.

The sun shone down on Jimi, who made her way east to save the townsfolk. She battled long and hard until she found another cat person. He looked familiar to Jimi, but she couldn't put her paw on it.

He was a tuxedo cat with a bad right eye. He wore a fancy robe and had angel wings and a halo. He waved his staff and caused flowers to bloom in front of him, then rolled around in them and purred.

"M-Maynard?" Jimi whispered. Tears formed in her eyes and her lip quivered. It had been six years. She had thought he was gone forever.

"Oh, hello!" the other cat began. "How are– you..."

The tuxedo cat began to cry and reached over to hug Jimi.

"Maynard! It's been so long! I thought you were gone!" Jimi sobbed. "I'm sorry for hissing at you before you left and never returned!"

"It's okay! I looked, acted, and smelled different from the Maynard you knew. I'm not mad at all."

The two of them hugged until another man got Maynard's attention.

"Oh, um, Maynard? Charlene and I need your help!"

Charlene? That name sounded familiar to Jimi. She looked at the man and saw a woman next to him. The duo had similar glowing hair, similar casual-cool outfits, and similar glowing eyes. The woman had gray skin and held two blades, and the man had tan skin and held a magic wand. They were fighting a pair of monsters.

Jimi defeated the monsters, then examined the duo more closely.

"You wouldn't happen to be the Cannonblade twins, would you?" Jimi asked with a wink.

"H-how did you know?!" the woman sputtered. She readied a blade, but the man stopped her.

"Wait. She seems to be friends with Maynard."

Maynard purred and introduced Jimi to his friends.

"Jimi, these are Charles and Charlene. Seems you already know about them."

"Well yeah." Jimi started. "Silver talks about them a lot!"

"Silver?" Maynard asked.

"You don't remember it? Our human?"

Maynard frowned. "I thought our human was named J–"

"That's what it used to be na–" Jimi gasped. "Wait, I need to tell you the whole story for context!"

She gave Maynard the 5 year story and he listened. At the end, he asked one singular question.

"Is... is it happy with its decision?"

"Yes."

"Good. That's all I wanted to ask."

The quartet shared stories and made their way to an inn, where they officially became a team set on saving Greenhorne. They rested up and prepared for the next day, where adventure was just around the corner.

Prologue: New Horizons

Jimi finds herself in a strange land.

It was a rainy August day in who-knows-where. A white human with brown hair played Miitopia on its Nintendo Switch, and its cat, a gray and white shorthair, sat next to it.

"Look over here, Jimi, I wanna show you this Mii of you I'm making," the human said.

Jimi didn't understand, but she meowed happily. She headbutted her human and it petted her.

As soon as the human finished Jimi's Mii, its Switch began to glow bright purple, and it sucked the two of them into the world of Miitopia.

Jimi woke up in the town of Greenhorne with a strange feeling. She felt... taller, and she could understand what the people were saying. The world had more vivid colors. She stood up on her back two legs and looked down. She was wearing a light green dress.

"What happened to me?" she asked. She flexed her front paws and noticed that she had opposable thumbs. Her ears turned back nervously as she looked at all the people.

"Oh, you're okay!" a worried looking woman exclaimed. "I'm Helen, and, well, Greenhorne's not looking too good."

"Greenhorne?"

"Oh, right, the town we're in."

"What happened?" Jimi asked.

Helen gestured towards her young son, whose facial features were missing. No mouth, no eyes, and no eyebrows. He didn't have a mouth-hole or eye sockets, either, just flesh over where his features once were.

"Jesus Christ..." Jimi muttered. "I... I'm not very strong, and I'm terrified, but I want to help!"

"Take this lucky amulet. It's saved me multiple times." Helen told Jimi.

Jimi remembered an anime that her human had watched recently. "Like Liko!" She took the pendant and put it on.

"I... I feel a strange power in it." Jimi told Helen. "Like Liko..."

Jimi noticed a large shadowy figure down south and went to investigate.

"If that's Amethio's Corviknight I'm gonna piss myself."

When she arrived, she found a human-ish looking floating devil guy with a dad-like face. He snapped his fingers and a young kid's face appeared.

"I heard your conversation with the mother of this kid. So you wanna be a hero?"

"G-g-give their face back!" Jimi shouted. She was terrified, but what else was there to do?

The demon put the kid's face on a slime monster and cackled. "Come and take it from me then!"

Jimi's amulet began to glow and she underwent a magical girl transformation into a cute looking cat-based furry pop-star. When the transformation completed, she looked down and nearly fainted.

"This is just like that video game Silver was playing... I know what to do!"

Jimi had materialized a microphone and used it to attack the slime. It died, and the kid's face popped off. She followed it back to Greenhorne and found Helen hugging her son.

"Thank you, miss! Please, help the rest of our town!"

"Of course!" Jimi told her as she went east to truly begin her adventure.

I wanna write a Miitopia Playthrough 5 fanfic because Jimi should be the star of the show
