#my brain: you're gonna talk about cyrillo a whole lot actually

i am consumed with thoughts of cyrillo finally having that emotional blood bond with someone and realizing that he's actually a lil bit nervous. the last time he did this, it didn't turn out well, and even if he trusts his current partner, there's still bad memories associated with all this. but his partner can feel his nervousness!! probably thinks it's weird bc cyrillo doesn't seem?? the nervous type, and that's kind of true. he isn't anxious like chiyo can be, for example, but he does worry a lot more than he lets on. and his partner feels that, is able to talk to him about it, gets it out of him that he's just worried that he'll hurt them. maybe they'll hurt each other.

and cyrillo can feel his partner's certainty in that moment -- they won't hurt each other, and if they do, they'll fix it. and it's just :' )) a very healing moment for him, realizing the comfort that comes from this bond. i think it's then that it really sinks in that having this bond is as much for him as it is for his partner, and that's how it always should have been.
