Honestly...I'm trying to rewatch Tiger and Bunny because it's been a while and I've not seen season 2, but god the beginning of the series just makes me sad for poor Kotetsu. He's an amazing guy and he just gets shit on by everyone he knows. He will always be my favorite character for his good heart and nature and willingness to protect. He doesn't give a shit about the points. He just wants to protect people.

Toshiro is such a soft boy. He's very, very nervous and shy upon first meeting, but he's never rude. Perhaps he'll joke around and his joke might not land, but if anyone took offense he'd cry as he apologized.

He doesn't really make friends, he's not outgoing enough to initiate such a thing. However, if he did have friends he'd spoil them in many kind gestures and acts.

Kotetsu perked up at the mention of payment. It might be shallow of him to accept a date for money, but his family's debt wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Any amount helped.

"Sure! How much would you be willing to pay? Wait, is that rude? Scratch that then. I've been looking for a reason to wear the dress Hariko made for me, anyways. I know she wears Lolita casually, but I've always felt like something like that needs an occasion, ya know?" He didn't realize he might be rambling a bit.

There should be far more trepidation, you think, as you approach the site on the mountain where it all began, but instead of being flanked by your two close friends looking as confused and terrified as you were that fateful day, Tanjiro is holding your hand in a loose but steadfast grip as you march your way up.

It isn’t the first time you’ve come back to visit the sham jizo statue since you made your way into this world - the first time trying to see if it would do the reverse of its curse and send you back home the way you came - but it’s the first time in a couple of years that you’ve made the trip and a lot of things have changed. 

You’re older, stronger, wiser; you’ve fallen in love. In fact, you’re engaged now, and are no longer unwaveringly preoccupied with finding your way back to your world, but rather focused on making this, making him home for you. Perhaps it’s this very shift in perspective that makes the pilgrimage much more meaningful to you as you walk hand in hand.

If Tanjiro can sense your peace, he’s not saying anything about it, content instead to look around and admire the view. 

“I can see why it was a popular touring spot,” he muses. Your search for the statue pauses for a moment and your eyes divert to him - he’s smiling as usual as he takes in the landscape with both eyes and all of his heart, and your own heart flutters a bit just looking at him. It hasn’t really ever been still since the first day you fell in love, truly, and it’s embarrassing sometimes to think about it too long - that even something as simple as watching him appreciate nature can move your heart to this extent. 

No one else is out here now, despite the fact that more than a hundred years in the future, you’d have been flanked by dozens of chattering foreign guests, fighting against jet lag and wishing you’d spent more time in Japanese classes. Now instead it’s quiet and serene with nothing to distract you except Tanjiro’s quiet movements.

“It is beautiful, isn’t it?” you muse. He nods a yes, and a hand cups your face carefully for just a moment, as though appraising your own beauty; you find yourself leaning into his hand, and just as quickly, his hold is gone and he laughs. 

“You’re so precious,” he teases once he lets go. You pout, again flustered as his hand resumes holding yours and you keep moving. Soon approaching the clearing, you find that the fake statue again has not reappeared. Tanjiro pouts then points his nose to the sky.

“No trace of anything foul or cursed here. I guess it’s gone for good,” he adds.

You sigh. “That should be a good thing, shouldn’t it?” 

“I’m guessing it’s not for you then,” he says. His eyes are on you, careful. You fall into a sitting position quickly, and he follows suit, watching you as you stare at the bare ground.

“It’s just a reminder that I really can never go back, even if I’m not sure I really want to,” you remind him. You’ve had this conversation before and he rubs your shoulder. 

“Even if you wanted to, I’d support you,” he offers. You look at him for a moment, then press your head on his shoulder.

“I’m not going anywhere without you so it’s moot point.”

Red string wraps around your ring finger in place of a ring, safely tucked in the corner of your top drawer in your bedroom back at the Mansion. He wears a similar symbolic string, soon to be replaced by matching rings forged with a tungsten, as a gift from Kotetsu that took you both by surprise. Durable, as will your bond be for as long as the two of you live.

I must say, your portrayal of Kotetsu has been very enriching for Orochimaru! That being said, thank you!!!

The aesthetics are all over the place! Though, a lot have to do with Orochimaru or Silent Hill.. or... you know.. they are all over the place and yeah xD

"I'm pretty sure that's illegal. You know, you could've just asked a faculty member, and they could've gotten it for you. Probably," Kotetsu commented as he just watched the other deface school property. He didn't plan on reporting him anyway; he wasn't a snitch, at least if no one got hurt.

It wasn't that he wasn't afraid of Fuyuhiko despite his position as the Kuzuryu Clan's heir; it was more like he hadn't realized he even was related to them. After all, the only "Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu" he knew was now Natsumi Kuzuryu. How likely was it that there was another Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu in the clan?

It didn't help that titles went in one ear and out the other with him, especially in a school where everyone has one. How was he supposed to remember everyone's Ultimates when he needed that brain power to keep track of all the ways to make coffee and tea? He had probably heard somewhere that Fuyuhiko was Ultimate Yakuza, but it would be a miracle if he remembered that.

To Kotetsu, he was just a very angry classmate who had never acted on any of his threats to his knowledge, and no one wanted to be angry all the time. Maybe he just needed someone who wasn't afraid of him.

Taking out a small bag made with a bright red handkerchief tied with a cheap white ribbon and holding it out, Kotetsu said, "I saved these for you, but there are plenty more in the dorm kitchen."

The call of his name was met with the demand of “What?!”, that was as loud as it was rage filled, though Fuyuhiko’s tense posture managed to loosen some with the realization that it was just Kotetsu. Despite the iron grip the Kuzuryu clan had on the other man’s family, he never seemed to act negatively towards Fuyuhiko despite most everyone at the school giving him a wide berth by default. It didn’t even seem like he knew who Fuyuhiko was despite his last name, ultimate title and with the rather open way he spoke of his life and some of what it entailed in an effort to keep civilians away from him and out of any possible the crossfire, and as weird and mildly concerning as it was, Fuyu wasn’t about to go around questioning it. 

Chest still heaving from his fit, the young yakuza heir dug angrily about in his pockets now that he was through beating on the machine, the ones of his pants now sticking out rather comically as he searched about his person. “No, I don’t want any of your mom’s fucking cookies! What I want is this bitch ass machine to give me what I payed for!” He did want the shortbread cookies, every so often his sister would bring him some after taking advantage of the “deal” their family had with the Anshin’s café, and they were always gone as quick as he got them, but this machine had declared war, and he’d be damned if he was going to lose. 

Finally finding what he was searching for in an inside pocket of his coat, in the same pocket as his pistol, Fuyu pulled free what looked to be a lockpicking kit before kneeling down next to the machine. “Stupid fucking piece of shit, take my fucking money and not give me my fucking shit…” Muttering profanity to himself as he worked, Fuyuhiko popped the lock to the vending machine as quick as a blink, his stuck bag of cookies falling to the ground with a crinkle of cellophane as the door swung open. They were quickly pocketed, along with an extra bag and a few other snacks that caught his eye from the machine, the now sated yakuza not even bothering to close the door as he turned to Kotetsu. “Alight, now give me a fucking cookie. And if you tell anyone about any of this, you’re the one who’s gonna end up in the fucking oven.”

Fandom: TIGER & BUNNY.

Muse #4 -YURI PETROV.

Age: 27-29 ( manga and anime )

As a child, Yuri's sense of justice was shaped by his father, the famous superhero Mr. Legend, who told him never to turn a blind eye to evil. However, this incident also gave birth to Yuri's sense of justice that true evil must be eliminated at all cost.

Although Judge Yuri Petrov makes a brief appearance early on, Lunatic starts making his presence known in an early time in the series, when murderers start to mysteriously die in extremely strong blue-green fires - particularly ones that are in prison. As the arc spans a long time, Lunatic's intentions are ever more mysterious. He was first thought to have a connection to Ouroboros, a criminal syndicate, because one of the men he killed had the group's tattoo. However, it soon becomes clear that this isn't the case.

Lunatic speaks, mocking the heroes and their sense of justice, calling it 'weak and frail' and deeming them 'pitiful heroes who can't save or or punish anyone.' He proceeds to tell them that he will show them 'true justice' and introduces himself as: "My name is Lunatic. I follow my own code of justice." Kotetsu (Wild Tiger) accuses him of simply committing murder, to which Lunatic only responds that this accusation was interesting and that he would remember Wild Tiger. After burning most of the surroundings and criminals, clashing with the heroes, and refusing to answer any questions, he flees, disappearing, much to the frustration of Barnaby.

Later a close-up look of Judge Yuri Petrov, apparently exiting the sole surviving criminal's hospital room. Barnaby thanks him for his work and Judge Petrov responds that it's simply part of his job and to let him know if there's anything else he can do to help.

Sternbild is in uproar over Lunatic, with most of the people appearing to find his code of justice very appealing. Favorable reviews about him appear on the news, including commentary from former heroes such as Stealth Soldier. It gets to the point that people are starting to question the necessity of having heroes at all. This is enough to cause concern for what appears to be the influential people or upper management of Sternbild. Judge Yuri Petrov actually raises the issue of doing something about Lunatic himself at the meeting, claiming that the Justice Bureau does not approve of capital punishment.

Later it is revealed for certain that Lunatic is not connected to Ouroboros, as he tries to kill the accidental murderer and former friend of Ivan (Origami Cyclone), Edward Keddy, as he escaped to kill Ivan. His code extends indiscriminately towards all murderers, regardless of affiliation. However, he also states that senseless killing is against his principles. When Ivan tries to save his friend by taking his appearance and place, Lunatic correctly guesses which is the true Edward and aims at him, stating that all sinners are cowards. When Ivan blocks his aim, he concludes that those who help criminals are also criminals themselves, but Kotetsu and Barnaby come into the fray, exchanging blows with Lunatic. While unresponsive to inquiries about Ouroboros, Lunatic does tell them that he has no desire to fight heroes, only giving murderers what they deserve, according to his own justice. Kotetsu retorts that his idea of justice is arresting idiots like Lunatic, and after exchanging punches that cracked Lunatic's mask, Lunatic tells him he'll see where Kotetsu's sense of justice leads him and leaves. We later see him sitting down with his damaged mask off at a table, drinking a beverage and researching Wild Tiger.

Yuri then appears to blend into the background, particularly during Jake's arc, where he spends most of his time as Judge Petrov rather than Lunatic, simply observing the situation and apparently staying true to his word to 'see where [Wild Tiger's] justice leads him'.

Later, this changes. We are allowed a sneak peek into Yuri's past, his history with his father, Legend, and the ghost of his father haunting him, asking him if he truly believes that what he did was the right thing.

After seeing the ghost of his father after a nightmare about his past, Lunatic goes after a criminal called Mr. Hopper, who, strangely, as we see in the file Yuri brings up, is not a murderer at all, with only counts of robbery and kidnapping against him. He is, however, according to the announcer, suspected of murder, as well as robbery. The announcer's mention of Barnaby breaking Legend's record appears to affect Yuri, right before he stands up and presumably prepares to change into Lunatic. But after encountering Wild Tiger, he apparently realizes something, calling it a joke and jumping off the building to disappear in flames. He does not spare the Lady Killer, however, who does have several counts of murder, going after him in one of the hostess bars that the killer frequents and killing him outright, despite surrender and protests from the criminal that heroes didn't kill people. Right before he delivers the killing shot, he tells the Lady Killer that he made two mistakes - one, that Lunatic was not a hero, and the other, that Lunatic follows his own code of justice.

His next crucial appearance is later when, in the midst of a city who believed Kotetsu was a murderer, Lunatic intervened and saved him from both his former colleagues and the false Wild Tiger. In his normal persona as Judge Petrov, he had apparently run a search on Kotetsu and Wild Tiger, finding all records gone or inaccessible and thus making his decision. Arriving in the alley where Kotetsu has been cornered, he announces that passing judgement on those who are truly sinful is his idea of justice and that letting Kotetsu be captured by 'false justice' is against his beliefs. After having made it clear that he doesn't believe Kotetsu is the murderer, he helps him to escape by blocking the others with his flames, asking Kotetsu if he will let his justice end here.

Lunatic appears at the end of first season where he murders the recently captured Albert Maverick on his way to incarceration.

Facts:

His living location is listed as "undisclosed".

His weak points are that he is lacking in the spirit of cooperation, out of touch with fashion, and bad at singing.

His favorite food is sugar.

His hobbies are music appreciation, conversing with his houseplant, jigsaw puzzles, and caregiving.

His future goals are to eradicate evil and to complete a 5000 piece puzzle.

Stretching in his bed, Kotetsu woke up to start his day at his apartment, he felt bad about staying there away from his daughter, but work willing he had no time off unless he explicitly asked.

Getting to the bathroom, he passed by the mirror to use the toilet and did a double take -- did he have tiger ears on his head, and a tail too?!

"Huh, wonder if I have fangs too?" Fingers in his mouth, he checked for elongated canines, and deflated a bit when he saw there were none, just his normal teeth. The tiger ears on his head flopped with his little disappointment, but he was curious about his new appendages.

Getting dressed, his tail was pushed against his lower back as his pants were a bit high on his waist, but he'd grin and bear it for however long the features were going to stay (hopefully he'd not attract too much attention going about his day.)

Well... he had his own two precious swords, Yamatonokami Yasusada and Kashuu Kiyomitsu. They were swords that now had human forms. He isn't sure how they his own swords were able to turn human, but he speculates maybe it was some blessing from the deities up in the skies, though Souji was skeptic about all that.

He cared for his two sword warriors as if they were his own children. There was also Nagasone, who was Kondou Isami's sword, his beloved father-figure who had made so many sacrifices for the Shinsengumi and then eventually met his unfortunate end.

Could he really choose a favorite? Did he really have a favorite?

"Na-ga-so-ne~ Ko-te-tsu~" Souji teasingly chirped. Of course Nagasone wasn't his favorite, but Souji only wanted to tease for the fun of it, and maybe Yasusada or Kashuu would hear it.

The real answer was he had no favorites, despite having taken Yasusada and Kashuu out on the battlefield, fighting alongside Kondou with his Nagasone Kotetsu blade. Souji loved the three just as dearly.

Boshi thought he's the craziest person he's ever met, like, damn who would be that impulsive in a lot of situation? Especially stomping through the roofs trying to outrun me in parkour the second time?

Well that's what he said about Xaos. The Tsurugi wanted to spar with him one of these days, specially Kotetsu. Heard something about who fares better in wrestling this time. Honestly those guys...

I know I keep trying to, uh, keep him in check everytime he's in one of his moments, but sometimes...I'm worried that that might put him off. I swear I don't claim myself as pure or anything, hell with all the shit I went through in Honnouji, I don't have a say in telling Xaos to "keep it lowkey", do I...

He said I'm worth waiting for. I hope I am too. I guess I just...want it to be an honest thing...I do care for him, and I dunno why, but I feel like at some point we both really could bond over similar stuff...I just hope I don't seem like I'm "leashing" him whenever he's in one of those moods...he actually deserves to set his own boundaries, and not put himself down.

...y'know? When that day really comes, he needs to know that he deserves to be treated well, even behind closed doors.
