Yeah, Mrs. Twombly is related to them in this AU.

Some of the people (Anna's parents and Betty's parents) are just plain old irrelevant to the story I'm working on and only there just to show the connections of the main characters. Idk what to do about them if they're dead or alive or whatever, but eh.

And also, smth to clarify:

-In this story, Roger was actually Roger Smith before he married Betty and became a Baxter. And it was Betty's Dad who brought the Baxter into the family.

Caravaggio's Rome is My Rome the book I've been writing for the past 20 years

When I first moved to Italy in 2003 I began researching, writing, taking photographs, collecting recipes, stories, experiences; I began gathering together the material that would become The Book, My Book

The book, my book began its life as "Under a Fig Tree in Rome", my love letter to the five years I lived on the streets, named after my first home, a fig tree on the Tiber Island.

In first-person narrative I told the tales that weaved together those five years. A way of apologising, forgiving, celebrating, remembering those faces & places. An exorcism of ghosts of sorts as most of the characters i wrote about are dead now. My book is a memorial. A glorification of the inglorious. But it was no Kerouac. I printed and bound "Fig Tree" and placed it in my bookcase.

My obsession with Rome remained a roaring fire in my heart after i left the city in the summer of 2007. By 2009 I enrolled in the history of art program at Birkbeck, University of London, graduating with a Masters degree in 2017, the majority of my credits being Roman/ Renaissance modules. I had learnt a great deal which made me aware that I knew absolutely nothing.

In 2016 I began writing about Rome again, but from a different angle. My boyfriend had a rickshaw which he used to transport tourists around the city. I realised the rione of Rome I had lived in & written about in The Book, My Book was also the backdrop of Michael Merisi da Caravaggio's twelve years in Rome at the turn of the seventeenth century.

I began to draw different lines on the same map, joining dots, making connections. I wrote another book, based on a series of walks in which you saw the paintings of Caravaggio as well as where he lived, where he drank, where he worked overlayed with where I lived, where I drank, where (and what) I wrote. Caravaggio's Rome is My Rome.

The lockdowns of 2020-21 changed everything for Francesco & I. No tourists, no work. Required by law to stay at home, 25 km east of Piazza Navona, I began to explore my patch the city, Giardinetti, just off exit 18 of the Grande Raccordo Anullare, the ring road around Rome. My geography had changed. & then our circumstances changed too.

In December 2022 Francesco had a car accident that left him semi-paralysed. From the moment he was discharged from hospital in February of this year I became a cook, cleaner & carer. My Rome work became a Mrs Beaton-like grimoire of recipes, household management tips, hedgewitchery and notes on a nightmare commute - with a wheelchair - across the city relying on (extremely unreliable) public transport.

My role changed, so my Rome changed and the book, my book gets re-written, again. More like a Cy Twombley painting than ever - scribble, scribble, scribble, WORD IN CAPITAL LETTERS, whitened, sanded back, text comes through the titanium white.

Fanfiction "Happy littlest pet friends"

Vinnie and Sunil were sitting on a pillow and watching the cartoon "happy tree friends". They were laughing so loudly that the fucking fat bitch Penny Ling's ears exploded from their loud laughter. Blood spurted from her ears and she fell to the floor. Pepper, seeing this, was horrified and emitted a disgusting smell, which made Zoey and Minka feel sick. Zoey threw up and fell nose first into her dog vomit. Minka backed away and didn't notice how she bumped into Russell. The hedgehog's needles stuck into her and she screamed in pain. The monkey jumped away from Russell and tried to pull out the needles. When she pulled out one of the needles, she felt terrible pain. Russell apologized to her and ran after Blythe to ask for help. He searched everywhere for the girl, but he couldn't find her. Finally, outside the window of the pet shop, the hedgehog saw the familiar silhouette of Blythe and ran towards her. But when he reached the front door, Blythe abruptly opened the door and smeared Russell against the wall. Blythe didn't notice this and went into the day camp to put balloons there in honor of Mrs. Twombly's birthday. This old woman was turning 100 years old. Blythe thought, "Wow, she's fucking old" and placed the balloons in the middle of the day camp. She turned on the chandelier fan and left the fuck. At that moment, Buttercream entered the day camp through a hole and was delighted when she saw the balloons. She started playing with them and accidentally moved them around her neck. The bunny began to suffocate, and the balls flew up directly to the chandelier fan. Buttercream couldn't scream. The balls burst and the chandelier crushed Buttercream into small pieces and all these pieces scattered around the day camp. The whole day camp was covered in blood and the small remnants of Buttercream got on Vinnie and Sunil.

"What the fuck is this? Ugh!" said Sunil.

"Fuck knows. Someone's blood. Let's go take a shower" Vinnie said.

Sunil smiled vulgarly. "Of course. And not only will we wash..."

Vinnie blushed at Sunil's words. The boys went to the shower and locked themselves in. They turned on the water and began to wash each other's backs. After the boys cleaned up, they decided to mess around a bit. Sunil licked his lips and began to fuck Vinnie hard in the ass, while the lizard moaned loudly. The water in the shower was filling up with great speed. And the guys were very hot in the closed shower. Finally, the water was half full and the guys tried to pull out the plug, but they couldn't because it was too heavy. The shower door wouldn't open either. The water reached its peak and the pets could not breathe, they both suffocated without air and eventually died.

Mrs. Twombly went into the pet shop and saw what was going on at the day camp, she fucked up a lot. The whole day camp was covered in blood and dead pets were lying on the floor. The woman fainted. The end!

These are my headcanons on the inspirations behind some characters of LPS 2012:

Penny Ling

Her name is inspired by the Beatles’ classic song “Penny Lane.” 🎶

Pepper Clark

Likely a nod to the legendary Beatles album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 🎸 The same band is a great coincidence!!

Vinnie Terrio

His name is inspired by Tony Manero, the iconic dancing star from Saturday Night Fever. Whoaaa!!!🕺

Minka Mark

The name Minka could come from actress Minka Kelly, known for her role as Lyla on Friday Night Lights. The last name “Mark” might refer to painting or “making a mark” 🎨

Zoe Trent

Her name might be drawn from:

Zoe Washburne, the strong and stylish character from Firefly.

Trent Lane, the laid-back musician from the animated series Daria. Coincidence in the musical subject?!

Russell Ferguson

Idk the inspiration behind Russell’s name yet, but it feels like the most formal of the pets’ names, aligning with his meticulous and organized nature. 🦔

Sunil Nevla

“Sunil” is a common Indian name, and “Nevla” means mongoose in Hindi. Many people in India share the name Sunil, such as actor Sunil Dutt, cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, author Sunil Gangopadhyay, artist Sunil Das and so on!!!

Her name might reference Cy Twombly, a celebrated abstract artist. This could reflect Mrs. Twombly’s own creative and eccentric nature, don't you think?

Um, ranking from most to least sigma ohio skibidi rizz is Me (ofc), Zoe, Vinnie, Minka, Penny Ling, Russell, um... Mrs. Twombly..., like the day-campers, that loud guy upstairs, my left pinky-toe.... and then Sunil I guess.

Oooh, ooh, about Vinnie's owner - In The Loop shows us that Vinnie has been going to LPS since he was a child. It's hard to say how many years have gone by, but Mrs Twombly is noticeably younger, so Vinnie has probably watched his owner grow from a baby. He's a big brother~

Wait a sec, you're right! I haven't even had that thought yet. But I suppose that also makes the possibility that Vinnie's owner chose him because of the same hairstyle impossible, cause like, Vinnie had a different one when he was a child, so yeah, and his owner most likely too if he was even the one who chose him. It could have been his parents or something after all. The more I think about the whole hairstyles thing it makes less sense at least some of it. It's still possible that when his owner grew up and his hair got like that he started stylizing Vinnie's hair this way too or or Vinnie was the first one and his owner followed.

Anyway, yeah, Vinnie has probably watched his owner grow from a very small child at least.

Once again the question of how old everyone is and how much time has passed arises, but let's not get into that now
