commander william t. riker in every episode ★ 1x07, lonely among us
I didn't understand that kind of hostility even when I studied Earth history.

I know I can't watch tng after watching so much beyond belief because I hear jonathan frakes ask a question in tng and I start laughing. I think everything he's about to say is going to lead into some bizarre question or weird story or crazy statement. I'm sorry mr frakes but I can't do it

S5 E9 A Matter of Time
Even if he's still very literal, Data has learned to give general information rather than specific mathematical calculations
"Mr. Worf's what?" Oh man. What a dumb joke, but I'll admit...I laughed
That was some nice continuity from Riker turning as he talked to Worf to the shot with Picard. Continuity is something I often take for granted but it's so satisfying when it done right (and so distracting when it's done poorly).
Matt Frewer is one of the many Star Trek actors who also lent his voice to a character on the Disney series Gargoyles and he worked with Frakes again in the series The Librarians.
Riker says "Deanna" instead of Counselor...and I like the familiarity.
Riker and Worf did not need to sit that close together in ten-forward. It just looks awkward especially in the wide shot when they're clearly sat on the same side of the table opposite Crusher.
How DARE he! Rasmussen just sat in Riker's chair! And Riker looks miffed.
Rasmussen is getting on my nerves, I think he's getting on Picard's too.
Wow..."Picard's empath" that's so insulting. Clearly that wasn't lost on her. And "Some of my best friends are empaths."
It's really cool that the tricorders are practical props that light up.
These are some great philosophical questions on the nature of choice and predestination.
When he says "I'm sorry" is the most honest Rasmussen has seemed thus far.
"I've never been one to play it safe" i don't typically think of Picard as a risk taker, certainly not a flippant or carless one, it's interesting to see this description in how he characterises himself. Not to say I think he isn't a risk taker, I just wouldn't have said that if I'd been asked what he's like as a character.
You would think they would evacuate the planet first at the very least.
Wow, that was a meaningful look from Riker.

Does Geordi have extra VISORs?
After how obnoxious he was, that was a very satisfying ending. I actually felt sorry for him and will admit: he was a pretty good con man and not a half bad philosopher.
