#LITERALLY#so many people think that by being assholes to strangers and casually telling them awful things especially on the internet will get them#popular. when no!! its not!!#most popular things you see are done between friends and family whohaveit scripted and make sure that everyone's okay afterwords.#its gotten so bad it even happens in real life. i have first hand experience of my irls and my family being rude and disrespectful to me#'for a joke' that isnt even there. they're trying to be funny but all they end up being is disrespectful because they're not sharing a joke#they're just laughing at someone.#and if you're rude on the internet it WILL have consequences. people will block you. people will tell you what you did wrong to your face.#no matter whether they're a stranger or a friend you were getting to comfortable mistreating for 'a joke' to the point where it seeped into#how you interacted with them daily people will get mad at you for casually being mean to them and will lash out.
