#most of the weaknesses in flowers and tss come from shonen sequels stuff and the plot being kind of convoluted

SHAMAN KING FLOWERS ANIME MY BELOVED

so we all know flowers right. first sequel manga covers the next part of the main timeline yada yada it's great

now the flowers anime itself goes CRAZY it's AWESOME it's PEAK SHAMAN KING ANIME. you won't believe this but the pacing... paces? like it's GREAT???

these had me so nervous for the quality of the adaptation and then it turned out to be great so we're fine we're good everything's ok

the big thing we're all wondering about though is what they're going to do about the mainline sequels being stuck in a fucking death loop where their magazines get canceled and they come back under a new name (flowers -> the super star -> I've heard the next one is "shaman king yard" but don't quote me on that)

I think it would be pretty cool to adapt all the mainline sequels under one continuity because it would make it way less confusing but there hasn't been any news of flowers continuing past the current 13 episode run

we're all crossing our fingers for TSS anime adaptation because TSS also goes crazy

(personally I'm also hoping for red crimson anime adaptation of some kind but that's probably a pipe dream)

oh another thing about the flowers anime

they haven't announced ANY english simulcast streaming so far. the only english subs available are fansubs. this makes it significantly harder to find and watch the damn thing unless you know where to look.

fortunately I've been able to watch the episodes as they come out (except 6 which came out yesterday fuck you employment)

anyways where was I going with this

flowers anime good. if you want to watch any single episode of it I recommend 4 (the BL episode) because it was everything I hoped for and more
