Kriff, now I'm thinking about if the clones on Morut'yc found some battle droids and brought them home, fixed them up, and they worked together to build something peaceful.
The droids realized they weren't enemies anymore and found their places as free droids.
I want to think some battle droids fled to find a home to call their own after the Clone Wars ended. 😭
#I don't have the time for this story#I'll have to save it for later#Morut'yc series#Cin Vhetin#it is a really cool idea tho

Second Chances (Hunter x Reader) Masterlist
graphic design is my passion
Series Summary: You're trying and failing to outrun your past, the shadow of the Empire looming large in your reflection. When you ask your employer, Cid, for backup on a particular mission, she pairs you with the Bad Batch. Immediately you clash with Hunter--but there's something else there, something softer, if only the two of you let yourselves acknowledge it. You want nothing more than to build the family you've never had, and you find a similar desire in the sergeant of Clone Force 99. But will your past be too much for any of you to bear?

20 Questions for Writers
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
39, but some are in the same series.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
849,388
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Star Wars, TMNT, MCU are the main ones.
But I have some for DC, Lab Rats, and even one for Kung Fu Panda and Big Hero 6.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Tisli Erhsernsa [Paternal Instinct] (Star Wars/DC crossover)
Turtles Forever: New Connections (TMNT)
Living in the Present, Clinging to the Past (MCU)
Ruusaan, Akaan, Am [Reliable One, War, Change] (Star Wars)
Heavy is the Head that Knows the Ending (MCU)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to respond to comments. If it's a simple one, I usually leave a :D, which is what I end my comments with. If I don't know how to respond, especially if it is short or a :D doesn't make sense, I don't respond.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
It's either Last Breath of Peace, which is a Star Wars story I wrote for @thechaoticfanartist, or Ruusaan, Akaan, Am [Reliable One, War, Change], the first part of a Star Wars series that... ends on a bit of a cliffhanger.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I don't know... I'd say Beating the Odds: Whatever it Takes, but it's not done yet...
Maybe Turtles Forever: New Connections instead. That's a good one.
8. Do you get hate on your fic?
Not really, no. Which I'm thankful for. But every writer gets some hate, right? Can't cater to everyone.
9. Do you write smut?
Nope. Fade to black and kissing at most. But nothing explicit. Let the reader make their own conclusions.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Oh yeah. I've written Star Wars/DC, Star Wars/TMNT, even different TMNT iterations meeting each other. I like the challenge of getting characters right.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Again, not that I know of. No one has requested permission, so I'm guessing no.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
I have, but it's not on my AO3. It was an original where the four characters are in a plane crash and are the only survivors. I lost contact with the other writer, so it never got an end.
There's also the story in #6, which I count here because someone else's OC was a main character.
14. What‘s your all-time favourite ship?
Oh... the difficulty of picking across the fandoms...
So I will pick one from each that I have one!
MCU: Sugar and Bucky
Star Wars: Teagan and Captain Rex
Lab Rats: Astrid and Chase
Big Hero 6: Dawn and Tadashi
But maybe I'm biased cause each has an OC of mine. :D
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
The Morut'yc Series. I don't know if I'll ever stop working on it. There's so much I can add to it.
Or my other big series for the MCU, but that's because I don't know where I want to stop the series as a whole.
16. What’s your writing strengths?
I've been told I'm good at getting character personalities correct. I think I'm also good at emotional scenes.
17. What’s your writing weaknesses?
How much detail and description of setting to use. There's a fine line between too much and not enough. Also writing it in like it isn't a word dump.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I use other languages in dialogue before, be it Japanese, Mando'a, French. Granted, the real languages I had to use Google Translate for, and for Mando'a, I'm practicing myself to speak it. Might write a full fic in it to practice.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
That's a toughie. I've been writing fics for a while. I'd have to guess DC, because one of my first OCs was a superhero Batman meets. The second fandom might be TMNT.
20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?
Again, tough questions. One of the two big series I have, Morut'yc Series or There's Always a Cost Series. I worked on them a long time and I have fond (and lengthy) thoughts about them both.
THAT'S ALL FOLKS!
I'm horrible with a tagging system, so if you see this and you write fics, feel free to fill this out if you would like.

I have something similar in my story, but it's less of a full piece of armor and more like a chip of the armor with something written on it. The clone still has the armor piece, but they can feel the small piece missing. It's a way to stay connected and it's subtle enough where it's less likely to be found out.
Cause it's supposed to be a secret (stupid law against clones having relationships other than complete loyalty to the GAR.)
Y’all remember that one Clone Wars episode where Anakin gives Padmé his lightsaber, and it’s a symbol of his dedication to her, as his lightsaber is an extension of himself?
Hear me out.
Clone troopers. Giving someone they love a part of their armor. Usually just an arm brace, painted the colors of their battalion and scratched from years of battle. And it’s a reflection and extension of themselves.
They tell their general the arm brace was lost on the battle field. But the shiny new replacement reminds them that a piece of themselves is protecting someone they love.

Thanks, @lumateranlibrarian How many works do you have on AO3?
183 (when….when did that happen???)
What's your total AO3 word count?
428,926
How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types
Star Wars – Prequel Trilogy
Star Wars - All Media Types
Star Wars- Rebels
Star Wars Legends: Jedi Apprentice Series
Star Wars -The Bad Batch
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
1. Take from Us This Tragedy
2. Armor Up
3. at taylir morut'yc
4. Unexpected Outcomes
5. What Wise Men Fear
Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
I try to respond to each one, though I know I miss some now and then
What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?
What Wise Men Fear (I generally don’t do angsty endings)
Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you've written?
Not yet, but I have a Star Wars and The Librarians cross over planned. Plus a separate Star Wars and Librarians fusion AU.
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
I’ve gotten a couple nit picky comments, especially on stuff involving the Jedi. SW fans can be wild with the Watsonian vs Doylist approaches to things.
Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Yep! And it ranges from sweet, soft to somewhat on the kinkier side.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I’m aware of.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope!
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Yep!
What's your all time favorite ship?
That’s….that’s such a hard question. I don’t know that I actually have an answer.
Han/Leia was my first SW OTP, but I shipped Tom Paris/B’Elanna Torres before I even understood what shipping was and Aragorn/Arwen will always have a special place in my heart.
What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?
I refuse to think that way.
What are your writing strengths?
World building
What are your writing weaknesses?
Fight scenes. Descriptions.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I think it all depends on the purpose. I know a number of people whose first language isn’t English and there are certain words (usually endearments or family terms…or swears) that they always say in their first language even if the rest of the conversation is in English. So it makes sense.
Likewise, if the POV character doesn’t know, or alternatively isn’t believed to know, a language to have other characters speak in it with the intent to hide their conversation that makes sense too.
I think its all about handling.
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Power Rangers
What's your favorite fic you've written?
Also a hard question. Probably Take From Us This Tragedy, as it’s the first long fic I ever did. (https://archiveofourown.org/works/25575499) Anyone else that wants to answer, go for it!
I was tagged by @mandaloriandy for this fun fic-writing meme! If so inclined, I also tag @wanderingjedihistorian, @iironapple, and @lizzieraineplots <3
How many works do you have on AO3?
19.
What’s your total AO3 word count?
36,720.
How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Dragon Age - All Media Types
Dragon Age (Video Games)
Star Wars - All Media Types
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Commander Lock has Joined the Chat; The Time Warp, Again; They Prey and the Hunter; When Ponds met Riyo; On Surviving the Apocalypse
Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
Sometimes! But I lose steam pretty quickly.
What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
Yes… angst is definitely… a thing, a thing that I write… hey! Look over there! Is that a Ferris wheel of exquisite suffering?!
Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?
Crossovers, not so much. Fusions? Hell yeah. The one I got the furthest on was a Bagginshield How-to-train-your-Dragon AU.
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Not yet. Probably because I’ve done a horrible job of promoting my fics on tumblr…
Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Yep. Haven’t ventured into that E rating yet, but we’re getting there.
Discord, however, is another story.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not as far as I know.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope!
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Nope. That might change sometime in the future though? @wanderingjedihistorian and I have a joint OC who needs some love and attention!
What’s your all time favorite ship?
Do I have a favorite ship? Or do my ships, like seasons, change effortlessly with the spinning of the earth on her axis. Does my love for them rise and fall with the sun, or gently light the heavens as the moon?
You heckin’ bet it does.
What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
I’m not jinxing myself and you can’t make me.
What are your writing strengths?
I actually have a lot of fun writing dialogue! When I find the groove and the right voice, I’ve come up with some pretty great stuff, if I do say so myself.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Scenery. Descriptions.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I like to denote that with italics, if the word is dropped in the less-frequent language. But I’ll use dialogue tags if there’s a whole conversation happening.
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
Calculations (https://archiveofourown.org/works/22089076)
