#morgan and seer get closer as morgan continues his investigations into closeknit

so I have many thoughts about the new seer obscura (enough that I wrote a fic about a coffee date with morgan) but more that I just want to share like this.

they come from an empowered family, and graduated D.A.M.N after three years with an illusory specialisation, after considering full certification

their younger brother was also attending the academy, the idea being he was following in their footsteps. illusory specialisation, final year.

he was taking part in the E&E games.

he won a medal. they’d know he win a medal. they couldn’t attend the closing ceremony due to work, but had made a reservation to take him out to dinner. that obviously never happened.

the fact that they couldn’t see the inversion, couldn’t predict it...

this is what drives the seer to seek out the department, and morgan.

final points.

knitwear. it’s something they do to clear their thoughts, empty their mind. they’re not the best at knitting - what they make can be a little ugly, you can see the missed stitches - but it’s all functional, and a comfort.
