HURRY follows me into the void...... it glances back at berry and blaziken.... for a moment.... then continues on.... the celebi and unowns stay with the two though.....

after a few minutes.... i return!! and i have a plate with some grilled cheeses(? cheeses... plural? maybe? english weird....).... i set it down in front of bery and blaziken and then i sit down on rhe void floor too..... am smiling at them c: -🖤

Blaziken is very pleased! they managed to return HURRY, met some new friends, and are getting grilled cheese!! win!! but then they notice the Unowns and Celebi sticking around. it cocks their head, question unspoken. What's up? but neither of the Pokemon respond, so it doesn't continue.

Blaziken isn't blind. it knew what Beryllium was thinking when they saw Celebi. they felt a sort of kindred companionship with Celebi too, even if the two had never talked. but Blaziken didn't mind. so it patiently sat until you arrived.

you come back with the grilled cheese, and Blaziken almost jumps in excitement!! they havent had food in lord-knows-how-long. chirps of excitement escape, and it rocks back and forth, nearly knocking Beryllium off their shoulder. Luckily, when Bery does faceplant, it's into Blaziken's knee, much softer than the ground. that doesn't stop kyan from waking up, though.

Beryllium regains his bearings as you sit down with the pair. the grilled cheese smells amazing, and Blaziken wastes no time digging in. they enjoy your cooking very much!! Bery takes a moment to remember where he is, but once it registers, they apologize for falling asleep. you shake your head and tell kyan it's fine, but they apologize anyways. he takes his grilled cheese, and slowly takes a bite. you can see their eyes light up, and kyan blinks a few times, but they dont keep chewing. Blaziken looks at their trainer, a bit confused. they enjoy it, so why isn't he eating...?

You... you do remember to chew, right?

beryllium doesnt say anything, but just angles his head downwards and chews. their first bite was hesitant, but kyan eventually scarfs down the rest of the grilled cheese. their head is still tilted downwards, but they look back up to you.

"thank you. it was... it was the best thing i've had in years, actually." there are tears coming out of kyan's eye, and normally he would wipe them away, but not now. Blaziken just snuggles up to their side, a happy growl in an "i told you so!" tone coming out from its throat. Beryllium just giggles a bit, and then turns to you to thank you again.
