PKMN Villains Zine Fic: The Aether Foundation
This was written for @pkmnvillainszine !! Digital copies of it may go on sale again if there’s enough interest~ I loved being able to write about Lusamine, she’s one of my favorite characters! Her past is hinted at in the game so I did my best to add to it :D I do feel that this is important to note: no one’s past is an acceptable reason for abusing someone else, and in no way am I saying that!! I just think Lusamine is a really complex character that we didn’t get enough focus on, thus this was born c:
Beautiful Disaster
Word Count: 2,583
Rating: T
Summary: Lusamine is an abusive mother, her heart black and mind rabid with dangerous dreams of destiny. However, she wasn’t always so void of morals; quite the opposite, in fact. It takes quite a traumatic past to corrupt an angel into her sinister counterpart. [A Lusamine-centric overview of her history as well as the Aether Foundation’s]
Lusamine’s heart was, once upon a time, one of overflowing love. Her gentle soul was angelic, admirable, just bursting with kindness as it sought hurt to heal.
She was renowned for her remarkable compassion, it being deemed her most defining and enticing trait. This unparalleled kindness led to swarms of adorers, treasuring her and the calming aura she carried with each soft step against the earth.
She was treated like a saint by strangers; a mere conversation would be enough to fall under her coaxing spell. Of course, Lusamine had also been blessed with a youthful exterior.
Her lithe physique, long locks of golden sunshine, and glowing green eyes may have intrigued passerbys, but it was Lusamine’s pure heart that caused many to revere her. It’s why Mohn married her.
Despite her perceived perfection, too beautiful to be of this world and a compassion rivaled by none, there was yet another factor that made Lusamine beyond mortals’ comprehension.
Lusamine had a brilliant, curious brain. She’d eye a problem, an equation, a mystery, and with ease, the answer would come together like puzzle pieces.
However, her vast Intelligence was often omitted, made irrelevant by her exceptional beauty and caring disposition. Of course, Lusamine’s logic was respected in her work environment, given its scientific purpose.
Even so, as Lusamine contributed to breakthroughs for the good of all Pokemon, compassion was viewed as the main driving force by those around her, all while bearing the form of a gorgeous young lady.
It didn’t matter that her brain functioned like that of a machine. Rather, the attention was, as usual, on the fantastic results of such endeavors: All the time, all the effort, was chalked up to Lusamine’s caring nature instead of her wondrous intellectual mind.
To many, Lusamine wasn’t even human, too above such a dull title and abysmal fate. She was spawned from the sky, an angel among men who’d abandoned the glorious heavens to be marveled at as she aided those in need. A wingless deity with a pure soul, not to mention the IQ surpassing the common genius…
Then her children were born, and everything changed. None of those things that marked Lusamine as heavenly mattered anymore. Only her babies mattered.
Those first moments of existence for Gladion and Lillie, the shallow breaths as their children entered the world and the cries that followed, set the stage for the future. When Lusamine held her perfect children close as Mohn caressed her shoulders, reality froze.
An unforeseen flash captured the family in a still frame. The picture hung in the forefront of Lusamine’s mind, framed and isolated. That day, she sought to claim this bliss for eternity, expanding the feeling of absolute joy across her timeline.
Life was perfect, too perfect to let subside. A certainty cemented itself in Lusamine’s essence: she would enjoy this perfection every day until she dies, still bearing a smile.
After experiencing the utmost level of happiness, Lusamine wasn’t going to let it go so easily.
Perfection was tasted, and she refused to spoil her tongue with anything else. They were a family, so beautiful in their completion. Everything was as it should be. Lusamine didn’t expect it all to be finite.
While studying Ultra Wormholes, Mohn was ripped from his dimension right in front of her. An experiment had erupted into chaos as Lusamine tried with all her strength to pull her husband away, but it was futile. She’d managed to ground herself behind a sturdy column.
Mohn had been less reactive, mesmerized by the wormhole while Lusamine had immediately fled. By the time her husband ran, Lusamine could barely grip his hand before he was sucked into the unknown, forever lost, forever out of reach.
When the wormhole vanished, Lusamine screeched as she fell to her knees, calling for her husband over and over until it sounded like anything but a name. The love of her life was gone in an instant, their children left without a father. They founded the Aether Foundation together, yet the work Mohn had dedicated himself to betrayed him. It wasn’t fair.
This was all that ran through Lusamine’s broken mind when she screamed and pounded on the floor. Wicke and Faba had burst in to find her beating the tile until her hands were bloody. Neither of them could ever erase their boss’s shattered voice from memory.
They’d tried to lift her from the floor so she’d stop harming herself, but Lusamine refused to be moved. Each time Faba and Wicke pulled her up, Lusamine crumbled back down. Eventually, they dropped to either side of Lusamine, stroking her back and waiting for her to explain what had occurred.
The two employees, though very different, met each other’s gaze with the same look of concern as they comforted their sobbing, shaking superior. They were so caught up in Lusamine’s meltdown that they failed to realize that their other boss was nowhere to be found.
The wings of a grounded angel cascaded one by one, abandoning the once seemingly perfect being. Lusamine was crumbling, cracking and crying until her wings were eventually ripped from her back.
She snapped, stripped of all that made her desirable. While her pretty face remained intact, her interior was corrupted. She was still beautiful to the eye but her soul was made ugly, twisted and distorted to the point of obscurity.
Most abandoned her, just as she abandoned kind motives. Ripping it out, taking a bite then stomping on it, Lusamine discarded her broken heart, blackened and useless and slowing her down.
The few who stood by Lusamine were employees, and most feared her. Those with any power within Lusamine’s ranks respected her for the panic she instilled in others, as if she did so by reaching into one’s chest and applying the pressure directly onto their heart.
Faba was one of those who idolized her. The Branch Director had always hungered for authority, and Lusamine was ripe with it from the start. Before, she ruled through inspiration, which is admirable in its own way, but Lusamine’s shift to an iron fist left Faba with no complaints.
How could he mind it? After all, Faba may be sneaky and influential when need be, but such magnificent brute strength was quite a sight to behold. He respected Lusamine before because he had to, given his position underneath her.
Then, like how most had been before her change, Faba was drawn to Lusamine like a marveled moth knowing flying into an unsympathetic flame. Lusamine didn’t simply fall apart when her husband was snatched from her grasp despite how easy it would’ve been.
No, Lusamine toughened up and got to work, doing whatever she could to get him back while crushing those that dared to slow her down. That’s the type of person Faba can proudly state his allegiance to, unlike the soft-hearted pushover Lusamine had once been.
On the other hand, Wicke was one of the few who was neither terrorized or in awe of Lusamine. Wicke attempted to replicate her boss’ once tranquil presence. Sure, the atmosphere she paraded around each floor of the foundation was warm and healing and gentle.
Wicke may have been a descendant of fae at most, her marvelous qualities stemming from mythical origins, but Lusamine was a goddamn angel. At least, she had been an angel, once.
Regardless, Wicke could never compare to the deity among men Lusamine had been, and in a way still is. Her soul was tainted, yes, painted black by bitterness and despair. While no longer a heart of heaven, a demon is still deserving of awe when compared to the mediocrity that is mankind.
All in all, she didn’t let herself latch onto what anyone else thought of her anymore: she didn’t need their opinions to get her husband back. Mohn needed her objective and alert; anything else was unnecessary. Nevertheless, a low growl always toppled out Lusamine’s lips when she spotted Wicke offering someone a hug, advice, or a shoulder to cry on.
Lusamine may’ve left all that behind, but seeing someone essentially replace you isn’t the greatest feeling. Not to mention when that replacement is less than subpar, though it’s not fair to Wicke to say so. After all, there’s no comparison between a queen and a goddess.
Lusamine thought, at the very least, she’d have Gladion and Lillie. Her sweet, obedient children would comfort her, praise and admire her as she spent every waking minute on saving Mohn.
They were supposed to keep her somewhat sane, grounded enough to focus. Instead, they betrayed her as well, tossing Lusamine aside when her halo shattered, the pieces contorting into horns. Thorns sprouted out of her stem, pricking those who once found peace in her embrace.
Fine, Lusamine didn’t need them. She didn’t need anybody! Her studies of the Ultra Beasts and their wormholes were finally bearing fruit after about a decade. One way or another, Lusamine’s quest to locate Mohn would soon come to an end.
Returning to consciousness, the scientist cracks her eyes open. She immediately regrets it. Not only is the sight of anything but blackness agonizing, but the room is drenched in absolute white.
The overbearing amount of it blinds Lusamine, and she groans through the oncoming pain thundering in her skull. Squeezing her eyes shut for half a minute, she tries again, though with more caution. At least she’s prepared for the searing sensation that’s to come.
Lusamine anticipates the unavoidable pain from her brilliant environment, but she’s an intellectual. The throbbing need to know the details of her situation outweighs the desire to fall back into a kinder, oblivious unconsciousness.
Her curiosity burns much as her assaulted irises. She gnaws on her lip through the pain as Lusamine attempts to raise her eyelids further bit by bit.
Fingers claw at the material beneath them. Thin cloth curls under her intense grip, though the odd texture peeks her already raging curiosity. Uncurling her fingers, Lusamine runs her hand over the fabric.
Gritting her teeth, she lowers her gaze away from what’s directly in front of her to the bed. It’s a specific type, one that Lusamine hasn’t experienced since…
Since childbirth. Lusamine manages to open her eyes fully, brow furrowed as she gapes at the hospital bed. She can’t help the immediate disdain that sours her mouth when she spots her hideous paper bag of a gown. Why…is she here? What happened to her?
Lusamine’s unforgiving headache punishes her soon as she tries to recall any recent memories. Using any extra brain power isn’t worth the agony, so she returns to her original quest: analyze her surroundings.
The bed and thin, teal gown give away where she is, but she’s desperate for more information when left with so little outside of that. Peeping from under her eyelashes, Lusamine notes the expected: white sheets, white walls, white furniture.
The room is pure as her angel wings had once been. Although, the white of the room portrays anything but purity. It’s more of a lack of color, devoid of passion, joy, and life itself.
Dull and soul-sucking and somehow so bleak in its blankness. Lusamine’s weakened state has made her even paler, almost ghost like as she blends into the monotonous background.
At the same time it’s bright, scorching Lusamine’s eyes, existing as the opposite of oblivion. It empowers the hammering within her head to stare anywhere and at anything in the room.
The paint gleams as rays of the sun exacerbate its shine, protruding through a window that consists of almost the entire back wall. Lusamine can barely take it any longer, eyes watering as they cry out for her to show them mercy by shutting them, but she doesn’t.
The tears streaming down her face don’t stop her. Her blurred vision manages to pick up the IV embedded in her left arm, and the outlines of contrasting items on the bedside table to her right. The shapes become more clear after Lusamine sets her gaze on the stark objects, willing her mind to settle and focus.
Several more seconds allow her to make out the assortment of flowers, stuffed Pokemon and cards piled atop the small table. Leaning towards them, Lusamine finds that a few have even fallen onto the ivory tiles due to the little space and the sheer amount of trinkets awaiting her upon waking.
Her stare is blank as she reaches for a toy Teddiursa. Lusamine drops it onto her lap, gaze flickering up and down the one of many similar get well gifts.
Get well from what, Lusamine wonders, though a sharp pain in her skull cuts off that thought train. She clutches the soft, eternally smiling bear tighter and tighter like a lifeline. Fingers threaten to strangle it, grip demanding answers that she’s unable to ponder on her own.
Propping it beside her, Lusamine ignores the few other knick knacks on the floor and grabs one of the cards off the countertop. An elementary poem about the strength behind recovery is printed inside, along with the names of several Aether Foundation employees on every inch.
They’re not many in the mess that she recognizes, but there’s enough that she realizes that these are the lowest ranking peoples in the branch. So they couldn’t even bother to buy separate cards…
Lusamine snatches another from the table, finding a similar set of stanzas inside. Although, unlike the previous card, this one is less than twenty signatures. Faba’s cursive and Wicke’s blocky handwriting with a heart instead of a dot on the ‘i’ are found underneath the printed text.
She doesn’t spare it a second glance as she grabs one more card. Her eyes are dull, unsuspecting when Lusamine opens it, doing so just to pass the time and sate her incensed curiosity.
What Lusamine finds wracks her already disheveled mind. A sharp inhale burns her dry throat. Inside is a polaroid picture of Lillie and Gladion smiling shoulder to shoulder, along with sweet messages and their signatures underneath.
It all comes crashing back into her in a single wave. Memories of the Ultra Beasts, being merged with one, Lillie’s distraught expression as she begged her mother to stop. Somehow, what sticks out most of all is her daughter’s defiance, the determination behind her hardened green eyes, her mother’s matching eyes.
Lusamine drags a hand across her face, tears forming again. Despite the rivers flowing down her cheeks, Lusamine can’t pinpoint why she’s suddenly so overwhelmed. Grief over what she’d become and the people she pushed away in the process.
Shame from letting herself be blinded by her search for Mohn that she disregarded the legacy they shared as husband and wife, their precious children. Longing to embrace her babies, knowing how much they’ve suffered.
Lusamine lost her husband, but because of her distorted desperation to be reunited with him, Lillie and Gladion lost both their parents.
They seem to have forgiven her last Lusamine can remember. However, being able to forgive herself is a whole other venture.
What wonderful children they’ve become without her. They’re kind enough to give a monster like Lusamine a second chance even when she believes herself beyond redemption.
“When did you both become so beautiful?”
Maybe if Lillie and Gladion see something worth saving in Lusamine, it just might be plausible. With a small smile, she raises the picture to her lips, kissing both of her babies’ static foreheads.
“Maybe I can be beautiful again…”

Analysis of the Bosses' Eyes
@icykalisartblog wrote these after we discussed how to describe the pokemon villains through a single trait in their design. I thought they were really good and they have given me permission to post it on their behalf!
Giovanni's eyes are similar in shape to a Persian's, but are darker and more sunken due to his age. Persian's Dex entries mention that it is somewhat feminine (it is compared to a "proud queen"), that it is lithe yet powerful, fickle and mean, and attacks anyone who looks it in the eye. All of these details apply to Giovanni as well. Giovanni's hiding his eyes with his hat is a sign of how far he has fallen and of his shame.
Archie's irises are sharp and his eyes are usually not fully open. This makes him resemble a predator. Then he has the slashes on his face that make him similar to his signature pokemon, Sharpedo. Concept art that shows Archie looking up shows that only the whits of his eyes become visible, which looks freaky and even more fishlike.
Maxie's eyes are similar to Archie's because they are different characters who fufill the same role in-game. However, his lids are visible, so he looks more like his signature pokemon, Camerupt. The half-lidded eyes also make him appear to be snooty and stoic. His glasses further increase the distance between him and the people around him, and the things extending from his glasses are like little shields that block out everything. When Maxie loses, his glasses almost fall off because he's just recieved a wake-up call, essentially.
Cyrus's eyes are icy cold and usually give off a thousand-yard stare. They are also very large, indicating Cyrus's penchant for observing and crafting his surroundings carefully. They are also sunken, suggesting he has aged prematurely. Cyrus's eye color is more washed-out then Team Galactic's usual color schemes, highlighting how Cyrus doesn't fit with everyone else and his cold personality. Once again, they look similar to Weavile's eyes. Also, one of Weavile's Dex entries states, "They live in cold regions, forming groups of four or five that hunt prey with impressive coordination." Who else formed a group of four (in DP) or five (in Platinum) and tried to hunt a target by carefully manipulating and coordinating a group?
In a twist on the other bosses' eyes, Ghetsis's eye is never half-lidded. He always wants to observe everyone around him, which makes sense. Plus, his eye is usually open a little bit too wide while his eyebrow is tense at the same time, showing how crazed and stressed he is. In addition, Ghetsis's eyes look like semicircles, but it's because the area under his eye is tense all the time. In BW2, Ghetsis gains an eye bag under it, one sign of his degradation. His eye is bright red, which suggests blood, passion, rage, and Satan, and the color stands out from his desaturated green hair. Ghetsis's single eyebrow is also an odd shape, with a spike on the side opposite his tear duct. This indicates that something is dangerous and off about him. His eyepatches have spikes that counterbalance his eyebrow.
Colress's eyes are pointy and look hexagonal, echoing the other hexagons present in his outfits--the symbolism of this shape and how it relates to Colress, I still don't know. Colress never opens his eyes completely in any of his appearences, which makes him look cold, amused, and unaffected by anything going on around him. Also, because his eyelids are down, his irises look rectangular, making him look robotic. His eye color is a slightly greenish yellow, a color that looks very artificical. Colress's eyebrows never change position, suggesting that he either isn't feeling anything at all or is pleased all the time. Colress has glasses that obscure his eyes (in BW2) or are hexagonal and whose lenses are barely visible (USUM). Colress has a tendency to look down with just his eyes without moving the rest of his body, which shows how he's in control of his subjects.
Lysandre's eyes look well-manicured, with little details that look like "wings" made with eyeliner. From what I understand, this look is called cat eyes, which would make sense because he owns a Pyroar and is interested in fashion. However, his eyes are sky blue, which is a big change from his orange, red, and black color scheme. Blue eyes are often considered attractive and rare, which is how many people in-game view Lysandre. It also highlights his soulful, emotional nature. When he is angry, his irises look like they shrink (!) which might show that his caring side is not his true self. His eyes generally have a lot of shine in them, which makes sense because he is the only boss to cry in-game. Blue eyes are also associated with heaven, which works with Lysandre's goals. Also, I can't help but mention the connection between blue eyes, genocide, and eugenics. Lysandre also wears sunglasses that do match his color scheme. Those sunglasses sport a popular design (with the horizontal bars) and show that Lysandre is too far gone by the time he puts them on.
Guzma's eye color is a pale grey that looks very similar to the whites of his eyes, making him look more like a bug. His eyebrows are thick and dark, which indicates that he is young, dangerous, and full of life. The sunglasses he wears before disbanding his team are literally bent out of shape, which is why replacing them shows a change in his character and a distancing from his thuggish bullying of others. There is a break in his new sunglasses, though, which might suggest that he altered his old ones instead of getting a new pair. He has purple eyeshadow on, which both makes him look like a stereotypical thief and causes him to appear older than he actually is. Because he has lines around his eyes in addition to the eyeshadow, it may also be that he uses the make-up to disguise wrinkles due to stress or some health issue, mental or physical. The purple eyeshadow is also reminiscent of a black eye, which hints to his past experiences.
Lusamine's right eye is always hidden by her hair, meaning she is hiding part of herself. Her eyes are two distinct colors--bright green and gold. The green may indicate jealousy or greed, and might also show the part of her that is attached to her children, or perhaps her desire to protect the habitats of pokemon and preserve life. The yellow could be her connection to Aether. Also, the lines between the two colors show that something about Lusamine isn't integrated properly. The fact that Lusamine's eyelashes are usually hidden helps make her eyes look similar to Lillie's, Gladion's, and Mohn's all at once. Lusamine's eyes are more almond-shaped, both conventionally beautiful and sharp. Her eyes are often hidden by shadows that are cast by her hair, showing that she is dark and menacing.

#10 Lusamine
(10- Physical appearance headcanon)
(I’m not quite sure what exactly to do with this one because she has a canon physical appearance, but I’ll try my best!)
Before the events of Sun/Moon and before the Mohn incident, Lusamine dressed very colorfully, with a slight favor towards purple (the opposite of yellow). Her hair was very short, and she kept up with its length as much as possible, making sure it didn’t surpass her shoulders, and this was just simply how she wanted to look.
After the Mohn incident, Lusamine began to be much more lax on her hair length, allowing it to reach lengths she wouldn’t have even played with as an idea in her image of herself. Naturally, she at first stopped wearing colorful clothing for mourning purposes, but after her mourning period, she began to despise her old clothes and opted for only white as the deviation to the mourning black.
Later on, she decided her wardrobe’s color scheme was too bland in its style, too odd in its entirety, and much too suspicious to outside eyes. She settled that she needed a bit of color. She chose yellow, in spite of her favorite color, purple.
She styled her long hair in the shape that is seen in Sun/Moon in a way that made her feel the most comfortable. Almost enclosing around her, somewhat like a shield or cocoon. Protected from all that could threaten to take more from her, but of course that didn’t stop Gladion and Lillie from running away. Tried as she might’ve, she couldn’t enclose them, too.
When she fused with Nihilego and became Mother Beast, her splash of color turned from yellow to purple because of her old favorite color. Her enclosure was broken, and the aspects of her old self began to flood out. On Mother beast, there are hints of a sort of rainbow theme, tying back to her love for colors and her colorful clothing she had in the past.
To give this a sort of happy ending, after Sun/Moon, Lusamine fully recovered from Nihilego’s toxins. Since her fusing with Nihilego allowed some of her old self to slip out, she was able to achieve closure with her past, with the help of Lillie (she was able to talk about what she did to Lillie and Gladion to her, too). Although she did apply some of her older self to her new appearance (Purple, colorful clothes), she kept her long hair, only that it was styled so that it flowed and didn’t close around her anymore. In a way, Lusamine, much like Lillie, didn’t choose her own clothes for a long time, either.

K Project AU Headcanons [PT1]
G doesn’t have the time to write a fully fleshed out fic because she has an Accounting exam, an online long exam at 8PM for Science, a play script to write for English, a video about her autobiography, a service project, and a philosophical journal to write for Philosophy, 15 working hours at my church as well as an interview about it’s history/church statement as well as an Oral Exam to prep for in Theology, two articles due for the School Paper, and a Tag Sale to prepare for which is a requirement for all Marketing students all due within the next two weeks on top of my regular homework.
*breathes in* I need a break.
So like, the Slates choose people with great influence in Alola and give them supernatural powers as per usual.
It’s not like Kahunas, nononono these are different.
For one, the Slates were created by scientists in Aether as a way of boosting human genetics and abilities.
Basically, they found a magic rock and accidentally turned it on now there are like 6 people running around in the world wielding these superpowers who can also give them to people who become their clansmen.
START HERE IF YOU ALREADY KNOW THE BASICS OF WHAT K PROJ IS!!
Enter You!
*Opening Song Plays* woooorriesssss slowllyyy come and kissssss tell meee what’s youurrrr nAAAAAME
ok shutting up now sorry i’m such a nerd for this anime
After the Slates started giving people these crazy powers someone had to prevent it from going out of control.
Luckily!!! Lusamine was granted with the amazing Blue Aura!!! Queen Lusamine managed to tame the Slates which she created anyway so that’s fair but still 6 people were left in the world wielding different coloured auras.
Meanwhile!!! This evil Silver King!! From a different region happens to visit Alola and gets these powers!!!
And in a bid to destroy Lusamine and grant even more power to the people of the world by stopping her from putting a cap on the magic rock, he tries to assassinate Lusamine!!
EXCEPT!! HER HUSBAND MOHN TAKES THE BLOW AND DIES!!
Lusamine completely desTROYS THIS SILVER KING AND HER SWORD OF DAMOCLES - a floating sword that appears above the heads of Kings when they use their Aura that is also a symbol of their power - BECOMES REALLY WORN OUT LOOKING.
This is bad news bc if the sword falls then it will destroy… everyone in the Alola region, oh noes.
LUCKILY!!! Green King Kukui steps up to help her handle the Slate in the mean time!! He’s not too strong though since his power mainly works with nature and Lusamine was one of the stronger Kings having derived her power from ice and wind.
Lusamine slowly becomes insane as time passes still not over the murder of her husband~~
Following Canon, Gladion realises that if he stays with the Blue Clan then he will be expected to become his mother’s right hand since his dad was fulfilling that role beforehand.
Instead of staying to witness Lusamine’s reign of terror he leaves to find a power that can rival Lusamine’s.
AND ALONG CAME THE RED KING GUZMA.
Team Skull is basically Homra. They’re both full of thugs that mean well and are actually cinnamon rolls.
Plumeria is like… their Kusanagi lbh they both mom all the members of their clan.
Anyway, by becoming part of the Red Clan Gladion earns the Red Aura which derives power from fire isn’t that the edgiest thing omg.
All the members have the skull tattoo too instead of the Homra Tattoo that they have in canon.
So Gladion stays with King Guzma and basically becomes his 3rd in Command who digs out all the secrets and goes on stealth missions.
Meanwhile!!! Lillie is confused af about why her brother left the Blue Clan and she asks her crazy mom for permission to go after him but Lusamine becomes even crazier and Lillie is starting to think that staying is a bad fucking idea so she runs away the first chance she gets staying with King Kukui in his little hut.
On her way to it!!! Lillie meets you!!!
You just arrived at the island and are lost so Lillie takes you to see Hala.
Hala is, of course, the Gold King. He keeps people in check, he mostly has the managing jobs taking care of the governance of Alola with his Gold Aura of light.
His grandson Hau takes to you immediately!!!
AND SUDDENLY!!!
YOU START GLOWING!!!
And Lillie is like ( 0.0)
And Hala is like ( 0 o 0)
And Hau is like ( OwO)
BIG SURPRISE!!! A SILVER SWORD APPEARS ABOVE YOUR HEAD CONGRATS YOU’RE THE NEW SILVER KING.
And then Lillie Realises.
Oh Shit, you’re the new Silver King.
Lusamine and Guzma are on the scene and start clashing like rip Kukui’s hut and Hala’s house these two are fighting and destroying things.
And all the while poor you are confused and floating in the air not used to your Silver Aura and the powers that come with it.
Luckily! Gladion is on the scene!
And Gladion takes one look at you floating lit up with Silver Aura and thinks Oh Shit.
Cupid better mcfreaking put that arrow away right now-
Cupid, no!
Cupid, YES!
Anyway, he knows he should get you the frick away from Lusamine before she blows you up and her sword falls down because she almost didn’t survive killing the previous Silver King she’ll destroy Alola if she kills you her sword will blow you all up to kingdom come.
Lusamine’s sword falls anyway during her battle with Guzma and the Red King scrambles to shoot Lusamine before her Sword hits the ground so that nobody will get killed.
Everyone stands there, staring at Lusamine lying on the ground, her sword disappearing.
The Blue Clan are devastated.
Lillie starts following you everywhere, at a loss for what to do.
You decide not to take any more clan members, remembering how her mom’s death was caused basically by her need to kill you.
As a way to repay her, you take Lillie with you on a Pokémon journey.
You don’t use your Silver Aura in front of her.
It might remind her of the person who killed both her parents.
Hau tags along some time after and sometimes he uses his Gold Aura to make butterflies and make Lillie smile.
In which Hau is a Totsuka that doesn’t die.
You’re all surprised to find Gladion walking up to you one day, challenging you to a battle.
“Do you mean-”
“I mean a Pokémon battle, of course.”
He’s surprisingly alright after his mother’s death.
He’s a bit desensitised to it after his dad’s death. He’s still hurting from it, from the absence of the Blue his mother gave him. Which is why he decided maybe training Pokémon would give him something else to think about.
Gr8 minds think alike hm? *eyebrow wiggle*
YOU CRUSH HIM IN POKEMON BATTLE AND HE’S NOT ABOUT TO TAKE THAT LYING DOWN.
He tags along too.
His excuse? He wants to be close and see how you train so he can beat you.
Lillie is v amused because this is her brother she knows what he really means. He just wants an excuse to be near you.
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe some of the old Blue Clan are still angry at the Red Clan and Silver Clan and Gold Clan for not preventing the death of their King so one day they see you four!!!
The Silver King!!! The grandson of the Gold King!!! And the traitor 3rd in Command of the Red King!!!
AND THEY AMBUSH YOU!!
You try of course to activate your Silver Aura and manage to do it but so far all you know is some floating and a bit of memory manipulation you don’t know any offensive uses of your Aura yet!!!
Gladion steps in front of you, his Aura engulfing him in flames and protecting you.
And he is lit af omfg.
Hau is struggling a bit with his Gold Aura but he knows how to apply it enough to protect Lillie.
Lillie is v distressed that her friends and her are in danger and everything was going fine for the first time since her dad died and she sNAPS
AND. THEN. THERE. WAS. LIGHT.
A big majestic Blue Sword appears above Lillie’s head. Surprise! She’s the new Blue King.
And all these Blue Clan that attacked you? Yeah, they all bow tf down to their Queen.
NO ONE MESSES WITH HER CLIQUE.
You four are like… the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. No one messes with any of you. You have 2 Kings and 2 strong clansmen among you from all 4 coloured clans in Alola.
Green King Kukui is v proud of all his kiddos and so is Hala.
You guys finish up your Island Trial and you become Pokémon League Champ but also your headquarters is now in the Pokémon League with Gladion, Lillie, and Hau as part of your Elite Four.
Your last member is this guy named Sun who Kukui also trained. He doesn’t say much but he’s part of the Green Clan and is fairly strong so it ties all the colours together nicely.
Grey King Red watches all of you from the Battle Tree all chill and everything. His only clan member is Blue.
#K Project AU#been waiting to do this for ages#I imagine the issue with Colourless happening after this#Lusamine is like Kagatsu but from the Blue Clan#I guess that makes Guzma the Mikoto?#If I continue this does that mean he dies?#And then Gladion becomes Red King?#OH NOES#that means one of the grunts must be like... a Totsuka#someone impersonates you and kills a Team Skull member the only one who doesn't believe it is Gladion#Mikoto!Guzma wants to kill you for it but in his rage his Sword of Damocles gets destroyed and he almost kills everyone#Gladion has to kill him in exchange for like... his hearing or his sight idk#only Kings can kill another King#maybe you can kill him#and everyone becomes very worried that your Sword will deteriorate bc you killed a king#you end up being fine though#because the Silver Aura grants immortality#but then everyone wonders about the old Silver King the one Lusamine killed#turns out that one was Colourless too impersonating a king#this got way too long#this would be like 4x the length of TSL tbh#type: my text#type: queue#type: to do#type: headcanons#Gladion x Reader#kind of#its in there it's just slow burn#THIS IS ONLY PART ONE HOLY SHIT
