Genshin Street Racers AU
Contains the OG Genshin boys (No inazuma/ Sumeru but may do them later idk)
TW- some implications of sex but not actually smut. Illegal driving.
Please don’t break the law kids!
~~~~
Kaeya
Kaeya is infamous on the street racing scene. He's known for being unpredictable in the streets, so people often try to stay out of his way in case he drifts to close. He's agile and fearless, a combination that's both got him onto and out of a huge array of problems.
His car is his baby- an icy blue classic Mustang, modified by the best mechanic in Mondstadt. Thanks to Albedo the car easily does 170mph,   0 to sixty in 3 seconds flat. Kaeya never races a car with a roof up, because he say there's no point without the wind in his face, so each night when he finishes a race, his blue hair is always windswept in that alluring way it had been the night you first met..
That's what he told you the first time he met you, shades pushed up his nose, hair completely messed with. He asks you if you've ever seen a car like his and when you say no he asks if you wanna take a ride. And like that, you ditch your friends outside the bar and hop in the passenger seat.
What you didn't expect was to be going 130 miles an hour down the Galesong highway, 'highway to hell' playing loud enough for the whole city to hear. He laughs at you when you grip the door handle like you're gonna fall out the car when he weaves between average, law-abiding drivers.
And when you get back on the unmoving ground, you surprise yourself by telling him you'd d it again.
~~~~
 Diluc
Diluc is not the sort of street racer people want to go against by choice. He's honourable, but he's completely brutal, with a car that breezes past 60 mph in less that 3 seconds.
He drives a Chevrolet Camaro, all black on the outside, with a sleek vermillion leather interior.  It's honestly a car that completely suits him.
The windows are tinted black- privacy more for your sake than his. He's adamant that you never stay in the car for a race but, every once in a while, you'll end up in there, wrists pinned to the Italian leather of the back seats as he kisses down your neck, making every moment count before a race begins.
Diluc keeps one of your necklaces around the rear view mirror, his good luck charm dangling like a symbolic air freshener.
~~~~~
Venti
Venti started motorbike racing at the age of 15, stopping and then restarting in his mid 20s after overcoming his alcoholism he developed in his teen years.. He's known as one of the youngest racing legends in Mondstadt.
He rides his Yamaha r1 like it's sationary, sometimes ever being so confident as to take his helmet off just so he can wink at you.  He's small but there's no rider more agile than Venti.
It took Venti a while to garner your affection- multiple races to impress you, even taking you out on his bike, going slower than he ever has before just to keep you safe.
There's been times where Venti's risks caught up to him. He's legendary but he sometimes forgets that it doesn't mean he's immortal. It's after the close calls that he makes it up to you, leaning you against his bike while he gets to his knees in front of you. It's in those moments that he apologises for the stupid things he does.
~~~~
Albedo
Albedo doesn't race but he knows a hell of a lot about racing. If anyone in Mondstadt needs a ride modified and chopped, he's their first pick. He's not cheap but that's the price of quality.
It's in his body shop that you meet him, face smeared in oil as he rolls out frum underneath a car. At first he's only interested in the car, before you roll the window down and stare at him. Oh he's down for it.
Albedo builds your car like it's his own, because he takes pride in seeing you win in a car he's chopped. Everyone knows it's a Kriedprinz car when it roars to life at the starting line and they shudder in awe.
Though he doesn't do it often, Albedo can drive- WELL. He hardly ever drives with both hands on the wheel because the other is planted on your thigh. If you weren't the owner of the car, you'd think he was the racer.
~~~~
Xiao
Xiao is always testing his limits. He's hardly ever off his bike- and make no mistake, it's fast. It's a Suzuki GSX-r1000, flat black with blue accents and an engine that roars. Easily it reaches 190 but he's always pushing it to the limit.
Xiao's identity was a relative mystery for a long time because he never took his helmet off, even after the races. In fact you were the first person to see his face.
You had been caught in a dark alley by a group of thugs but before they could do anything, Xiao's bike had sped right between you and them. He rips the helmet off and hands it to you before ordering you to get on. Of course you do, feeling your heart pound in your ears as your arms wrap around his black leather jacket.
His manager, Zhongli often remarks about how you make Xiao more distracted but he always denies this fact, knowing full well that his first thought after and during a race is coming back to you and taking you in the dead of night.
~~~~~
Tartaglia
What a show off Childe is. He'll take any risk as long as it has a pay off of some kind. The adrenaline he gets from maxing out the speed dial is something he craves all the time.
He's a rich bitch who races purely for fun and it irritates people to no end that he's casually a driving prodigy. He drives a Lamborghini Huracan, hardly ever going the speed limit on any road- after all, who would be willing to raise a complaint to the Fatui mafia about one of their Harbingers.
He hardly ever attends a race if you aren’t there to impress. You're the only thing there that interests him. We all know what's on his mind during the races. He's only ever thinking about getting you in the car so you can fool around.
He's had to evade police multiple times for indecent exposure because of his excitable and insatiable nature.
He'll try it on anywhere. Sometimes he's even on the phone with you during a race, telling you about what he plans to do to you. Cocky fucker.
~~~~
Zhongli
Zhongli's a now retired legend in the street racing community of Liyue, though he still drives from time to time, he really only manages his protégé, Xiao.
He's responsible but he does seemingly dangerous stunts because he's confident he can pull them off. In fact, he's one of the only guys that would be ok with you being in the car during a race.
Zhongli teaches you to drive his Nissan patiently, hands holding yours steady with you on his lap as he pushes the accelerator down and changes gear. Having you so close to him is undoubtedly making things happen but he hasn't shown any signs that he's lost composure.
It's when you meet his fellow street racer legends that things finally become clear as to exactly how renowned Zhongli- Morax was. They always called him his old stage name as a mark of respect. It's also in those moments that you're overcome with pride at seeing and being with such a master driver. And you make sure to call him by his rightful title once you get back in the car.
Murder Drones Rider Au + Uzi fanart
Or should i say... Murder Drive AU HEHEHEHE
This lovely amalgamation was made by yours truly when putting murder drones and pretty bikes on a blender hoping for something fancy. And i did it.
The mechanics are simple! (Haha get it? Mechanics)
Uzi is a moody mechanic (i will get real tired of the word mechanic and so will you.) Working in your local Auto shop: Copper's 9 ! Owned by daddy dearest Khan Doorman! She mostly does repairs and common car maintenance, aaand if she decides she likes you well enough you'll get some neat modifications for half the price! (Its a lie but only she knows that)
In her free time she stays around the back of the store repairing and selling old cars as a hobby that also doubles as a side hustle.
Her life in home isn't as sweet as she would hope for but she's learned to cope, something that she specializes in after her Moms disappearance; Nori Doorman, presumed dead.
Shes the only occupant of a nice little apartment, moving from their parents house a few years after Nori's disappearance and Khan's neglect. Rarely visited by anyone she stays little time in her apartment, either watching anime after a tiring day, eating lunch, showering after a messy oil spill or just existing after closing hours. Youll definitely see her more at the shop doing gods knows what this time. The reson why Uzi doesn't spend more time in the little home shes built herself is because of the atmosphere, too cold and gloomy for her liking, the barren space reminding her too much of her loneliness.
Tumblr media
("She looks soo much like Uzi" you all say in unison.)
Nathaniel, or best known as "N" is a Bike racer, youll see him proudly sporting his various motorcycles all earned by his sweat, hard work, and money from illegal races.
N has and incredible set of bad luck, following him like a stubborn rain cloud with every single bike he touches breaking down at some point. No matter how much he dotes over them or how carefull he is; they will break. And thats a promise from the universe, aparently.
He lives in a fairly big house with his other two roommates: Jay, "J" and Veronica, "V". They all participate in their own races, N and V competing frequently while J sits back and collects their winnings. J also participates in rare ocations.
When N is not flying through the streets, or winning the months rent he resides in his little corner of the garage painting, drawing, scrap booking or doing whatever craft he can get his hands onto.
(I will probably add more on N later on)
N and Uzi meet when Ns bike breaks in "the middle of nowhere" according to V, so he just sits quietly besides the road waiting for either backup (V showing up to rescue him after cackling over the phone and then hanging up) or to simply perish. Uzi was heading to the workshop in Railgun (a very beat up, highly modified but very loved minitruck that she herself constructed from other cars parts) When she came across a very puppy kicked to the side of the road sad looking person laying down besides the road by a very nice looking motorcycle. She slows down to take a quick peek to the bike when the person laying down jumps immediately at her side after noticing her slowing down, begging asking for a ride to the closest Auto shop explaining how his bike broke. Uzi (although very begrudgingly) decides to help this weird friendly stranger as her good deed of the year. She parks to the side of the road helping N heave the bike into the trunk and waits until he hops into the passenger seat to begin their way to Copper's 9.
After Fixing N's bike (and getting a tip she will not complain about) She gives the rundown on what the problem of the bike was and how to avoid it. N thanks her (a little too much if you ask Uzi) and parts ways. Uzi not dwelling about it goes on to the rest of her day, not thinking about seeing N again anytime soon.
Not even a week later N shows up again with another bike, this one looking like it went into the devils asscrack and back. Uzi just gives him a glare and gets to work.
That is NOT the last time that happens. (She counts 12 visits in one month, what the hell N?)
So! This is the basic information about my silly little Au, i don't have a name for it yet, I have been calling it Murder Drive for gits and shiggles but i don't know if I should make it the official name of this Au, if you have any suggestions tell me about it!
And I've been thinking about making it a fic buuut I've never written anything lengthy before, and English is not my first language so you can imagine how I feel.
Do tell me how you feel about it, or if you have any asks send 'em my way!
ALSO! THIS IS A HUMAN AU!! YAYAY HUMANS‼️‼️
Kawasaki Z1 production began in 1972 as the most powerful Japanese 4-cylinder 4-stroke ever marketed.
The Kawasaki Z1 is a four-cylinder, air-cooled, double-overhead camshaft, carbureted, chain-drive motorcycle introduced in 1972 by Kawasaki. Following the introduction of Honda's CB750 in 1968, the Z1 helped popularize the in-line, across-the-frame four-cylinder, a format that became known as the Universal Japanese Motorcycle or UJM.
ManufacturerKawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.Also calledKawasaki 900 Super Four Production1972–1975; 85,000 units. Marketed variously as the Z1-900, 900 Z1 or 900 S4 ("Super Four"), the Z1 was the first of Kawasaki's Z models.
The Z1 was noted for being the first large-capacity Japanese four-cylinder motorcycle to use the double-overhead-camshaft system on a production motorcycle. When it was introduced, only the MV Agusta 750 S used this system; it was a very expensive limited-production machine, as opposed to the Kawasaki which was less than half the price.
The Kawasaki Z1 was developed under the project name "New York Steak".In the late 1960s Kawasaki, already an established manufacturer of two-stroke motorcycles, had begun prototyping a 750 cc four-cylinder four-stroke sports motorcycle working with McFarlane Design in 1969 to develop the bike's overall appearance. When Honda introduced the CB750 to the market first, Kawasaki postponed the Z1's release until its displacement could be increased to 903 cc and the motorcycle could be marketed in the 1000cc-class.
In 1972, the Z1 set the world FIM and AMA record for 24-hour endurance on the banked Daytona racetrack, recording 2,631 miles at an average speed of 109.64 mph. Writing in 1976, LJK Setright commented that this record was only 0.36% faster than the previous figure set in 1961 at Montlhéry, France, by a team using a modified BMW R69S, particularly the engine. Also at this time at Daytona a one-off Z1 ridden by Yvon Duhamel that was tuned by Yoshimura set a one-lap record of 160.288 mph.
The Z1 was awarded the MCN 'Machine of the Year' accolade each year from 1973 to 1976 (an award resulting from a readers' opinion-poll run by UK weekly publication Motorcycle News) The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (in Japanese) includes the 1972 Z1 as one of their 240 Landmarks of Japanese Automotive Technology.
The basic design of the Z1 remained relatively unchanged until 1975, when the 903 cc "Z1-B" was introduced, with changes including increased power output, improved suspension, and a stiffer frame. The automatic chain oiler was deleted, the styling was revised – essentially paint scheme and side-panel nomenclature – and the braking was improved.
In 1976 the Z1 was replaced by the Kawasaki KZ900 in the U.S. and Z900 in other markets. This was succeeded by the 1977 Kawasaki Kz1000 ("Z1000") and Kawasaki Z1000 Z1-R, and in 1984 by the Kawasaki Z1100R.
All these articles are making me worried that Liberty are going to ruin Moto GP. There are already talks of moving to circuits that are SO unsafe for bikes I don't know what to think
i understand the panic but articles are just articles, most people writing them have no idea what they’re talking about. realistically the biggest worries/changes with this acquisition will be tv rights, streaming prices and youtube content lol. liberty is a media company. they can absolutely push for certain markets (like they’ve done with the usa in f1) and in all probability there will be some changes in the calendar, but as far as circuits and safety are concerned FIM/FIA will always have the last say, so i highly doubt they’ll be able to plop riders in monaco on a whim.
my guess is that they’ll do some F1 x MotoGP promo events to unite the markets in the immediate future but in order for them to be able to have a joint race (which is not a new idea as it has been floating about for quite some time now) they’d have to build or heavily modify a venue according to both sports’ safety and sporting regulations, which are still in the hands of FIA/FIM.
also, we also still have to see what the european antitrust has to say about this 🤨
Sometimes, for no reason, I think of that angry blonde guy I ran into. Mostly I think of his stupid bike.
The more I think about it, the more it astounds me that he probably spent double it's dealership price to modify a street racing wheel-bike for all terrain.
That couldn't have been worth it.
2023 Yamaha R15 v4, MT 15, FZX Launch Highlights Prices, Features, Specifications & Images
Three of Yamaha Motor India’s most well-known motorcycles in India now have updated OBD-2-compliant engines. The 2023 Yamaha MT-15 V2, 2023 Yamaha R15 V4, and 2023 Yamaha FZ-X are those models. The redesigned Yamaha motorcycles come with a tonne of useful improvements. It’s interesting to note that the OBD-2-compliant Yamaha MT-15 V2 has already received homologation from the Japanese motorbike maker. In addition to the hardware, these motorcycles have a number of extra features such as a TFT dashboard and LED indicators.
The revised R15’s new price range has a base price of just Rs 1,80,900. The upgraded model now has standard traction control, LED turn indicators, a colour TFT display, and a standard fast shifter. Moreover, there are three colour choices available: Metallic Red, Racing Blue, and Dark Knight (new). A new paint colour choice called “Dark Knight” offers a matte black exterior and golden alloy wheels.
Its mechanical parameters have not changed in the interim. The 155cc single-cylinder engine is hence unaltered. As a result, the performance of the most recent model is just as thrilling as that of the previous model. The R15 M model has also received the same changes in addition to this. The cost is Rs 1,93,900.
New features and colours have also been added to the roadster FZS V4 motorcycle. It now has traction control, LED turn indicators, and LED flashers. The new model is now available for Rs 1,27,400 ex-showroom in Delhi. It comes in three new colours: Majesty Red, Metallic Black, and Metallic Grey. It also receives a brand-new LED headlight with LED DRLs. Moreover, the taillight is now LED and the alloy wheels have colours. Also, the new bike comes standard with golden alloy wheels.
The touring-focused FZ-X bike now comes in new colours and with additional features. A moveable holder stand has been added to the modified bike’s handlebars. A traction control system has also been added for added safety. Meanwhile, the new colour possibilities for it are Matte Copper, Matte Black, and Dark Matte Blue. Dark Matte Blue is available for Rs 1,36,900. The other two colour choices, however, are reasonably priced at Rs 1,35,900.
Speaking of the R15’s naked cousin, a small upgrade has also been made to the 2023 Yamaha MT-15. The dual-channel ABS and the arrangement of the pillion grip rails have been changed for the new MT-15 model. It also has LED turn indicators and flashers, just like the upgraded R15. Yamaha has also introduced a new gloss black and red colour hue. With red-coloured alloy wheels and golden USD forks, this colour looks great. The revised MT-15 is available for Rs 1,68,400.
Yamaha India hopes to maintain its sales pitch strong with the latest upgrade. Yamaha, however, has said nothing regarding its preparations despite the RDE requirements being just around the horizon. Yamaha has, however, stated that by the end of 2023, it will have upgraded its whole range in India to comply with E-20 fuel regulations.
This is a huge day and a huge vent is building up to on Friday but they are getting their stuff together and starting to get ready to do it. They're also increasing the attacks and the rings and in town and they're building up forces to flow in over and over and they are going to do it consistently it is a matter of time before they try a full blown invasion and it will occur several times after they are pushed out in October and yeah it's taken forever for anybody to do anything but that's OK.
-There's a lot of talk About our son and mode of Transportation they are talking about this masimo E spider and they think it's a decent vehicle for him we think it's ridiculous and it's too much money but when they sell it used it's like an E bike because it's a cheapo depot any of these used electric stone sell for much and you don't wanna buy them and they would ask probably still a couple $1000 but ensuring a motorcycle is a lot cheaper an annual motorcycle insurance is around $350 and this cost less for replacement it might even be as low as $250 which is not much and it wouldn't cost to drive it around and you can put a cover on it people think it's a good idea. The $2000 is pretty steep And yeah it only goes 45 miles an hour it's not really that great it's too slow if it's modified it's different but then it loses value and people do have them and they do go around 90 and they are faster and it's not that bad you're kinda dangerous though and we're thinking about it use the arrow can am enclosed there's quite a bit of money at least that's what they're saying when a son says he thinks it's a dog and they're like 5 grand or 2 grand we think he's right and Tommy F is saying it it's Chinese and it's not and his stuff's not and so he knows that the real price is for the arrow and his people probably start buying them and they should buy them all and the motorcycle unless you change it and it's not really true it's still considered to be a motorcycle car even with 4 wheels no but our son would change it and not tell anyone a little bit and he he plans to do it that way so he can actually get it to work
this is a polaris and the kits are onlline are for the aero too.
Tumblr media
This isn't bad but the can am cost actual money even the used ones are like 7 grand and he's saying he wonders if you found AT Rex modified with four tires be less because of the modification and yeah it loses a lot of value it starts out at like 7 grand and then it's like used it's like 44 grand and then it's because of two rear wheels it'll be like two grand it's enclosed and it's much nicer and it's a lot safer. It has a roll cage no but it has a roll bar and it's actually somewhat safe it's safer than what you're doing now and it looks pretty radical. The T Rex comes with doors and enclosure and windows and everything and it looks like a car in the front and you put the rear kit on and you can have someone make a fiberglass kit you might even be able to find one for the rear end and it would look very very hot and it would be fairly fast and they would probably say you can't have a limiter but if you modified it and had the two wheels in the back it'd be like $1800 and it goes about a 180 miles an hour and if you put a kit on it and it has to have proper cooling and they're liquid cool it would attach pretty good and it would fit in it'll look really like it looks like an indie car it goes about 200 miles an hour now we know you wouldn't do it and we would have to move you into a different vehicle which is what we want to do. And it would look radical around here people would stop and look at it all the time. And it would point out Tommy F when he kind of wants it he says. More shortly and yeah this fits the bill by the way is the Arrow T Rex or this vehicle with the enclosure which is a lot of money they call upwards a little bit.
Thor Freya
The T Rex Massimo is Chinese the T Rex itself is not but it's from a company that's like Chinese no they get their parts from China it's considered to be a Chinese device and they do go down when you're changing and I have one with 4 tires and it actually rocks nothing goes fast and it handles like crazy and the gas mileage is extremely high it's like 50 miles to the gallon he doesn't want to drive around and stuff it burn up money he doesn't have which is true we'd have to get him some money cause he probably just will look at it and say you can't afford the gas or the insurance so he needs $50 extra a month or more and then he would just sit around with a thing if he got 50 bucks total maybe 100 bucks you might do some driving
it i reality he is middle aged personand not stupid
The car business may change practically daily, but tyres will never need to be replaced. As a result, it is reasonable to believe that tyres will always be in demand, and Buy Car & Bike Tyre Franchise India is among the most lucrative business ventures. You shouldn't be concerned about your tyre business failing because the need for tyres will rise along with the demand for cars.
What are the essential considerations while setting up a tyre franchise?
Don't worry if you've never set up a tyre franchise before; this article will provide you with all the assistance you require. Despite the fact that making a selection may seem daunting, it will get simpler as you take in all of this information. Thus, the following are some of the actions you should do to maximize your sales and launch a tyre business:
1. Perform market analysis
You must ascertain whether there is a market for tyres in the location of your choice before investing the money required to launch a tyre company. Despite the fact that tyres are always in high demand wherever they are, it is always important to research the competition. Along with the amount of tyre dealerships in the neighborhood, you will also need to investigate the base income and preferences of the populace. For example, you may notice that the tyre dealerships that are positioned strategically along highways are in high demand. Make sure to get as much information as you can using focus groups, questionnaires, interviews, and other methods.
2. Being aware of the dynamics of the market
Since tyres can break down at any time and you will always have potential leads, the tyre business is a relatively safer venture. It will be difficult for you to break into such a crowded industry if selling and fixing tyres is the main source of income in your hometown. You would surely succeed in business if the town has a sizable demographic base and is expanding gradually. After that, you'll need to study the pricing and marketing tactics of your rivals and adjust the cost of your services appropriately. You must take into account your profit margin in order to compute the projected income when determining the selling prices of all of your goods and services. This will help you to develop your tyre business plan.
3. Select the products you want to sell
Sure, you want to sell tyres, but since there are numerous kinds of tyres to fit different kinds of cars, you will need to decide what inventory items to sell. You must inspect the cars that operate in your tiny town in order to choose the tyres, and then you must stock those. You can stock up on tyres for two-wheelers, light passenger cars, and large commercial vehicles to make sure you can supply tyres for all kinds of vehicles. The quality of the cars on the roads in your little town will now determine how many tyres are needed. In your store, you can even fix damaged tyres in addition to selling tubes and seams.
Why Go with Point S for an Indian Multi-Brand Tyre Franchise?
In general, a multi brand tyre franchise in India makes more money than a single brand franchise.
Product Diversity: A store with multiple brands can provide a greater range of tyre types and brands to suit different budgets and tastes. Comparing this to a single-brand franchise, the potential client base is increased.
Negotiating Power: A multi-brand retailer has greater negotiating leverage with tyre producers since it represents a variety of brands. By using their purchasing power, they can negotiate better wholesale costs and boost their profit margins.
Inventory Flexibility: Possessing a variety of brands enables a multi-brand retailer to modify its assortment in response to shifting consumer needs.
Overhead: A multi-brand store can frequently take advantage of economies of scale and distribute fixed expenditures like rent, utilities, and manpower across a bigger organization, even though a single-brand franchise may have cheaper operating costs.
Brand Loyalty: Rather than choosing a particular tyre brand, customers in multi-brand stores may be less brand loyal and base their purchases instead on factors like price, availability, and compatibility. Higher sales volumes may result from this. This is why you should choose Point S, Best Tyre Dealership Franchises in India.
Kawasaki Z1 production began in 1972 as the most powerful Japanese 4-cylinder 4-stroke ever marketed.
The Kawasaki Z1 is a four-cylinder, air-cooled, double-overhead camshaft, carbureted, chain-drive motorcycle introduced in 1972 by Kawasaki. Following the introduction of Honda's CB750 in 1968, the Z1 helped popularize the in-line, across-the-frame four-cylinder, a format that became known as the Universal Japanese Motorcycle or UJM.
ManufacturerKawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.Also calledKawasaki 900 Super Four Production1972–1975; 85,000 units. Marketed variously as the Z1-900, 900 Z1 or 900 S4 ("Super Four"), the Z1 was the first of Kawasaki's Z models.
The Z1 was noted for being the first large-capacity Japanese four-cylinder motorcycle to use the double-overhead-camshaft system on a production motorcycle. When it was introduced, only the MV Agusta 750 S used this system; it was a very expensive limited-production machine, as opposed to the Kawasaki which was less than half the price.
The Kawasaki Z1 was developed under the project name "New York Steak".In the late 1960s Kawasaki, already an established manufacturer of two-stroke motorcycles, had begun prototyping a 750 cc four-cylinder four-stroke sports motorcycle working with McFarlane Design in 1969 to develop the bike's overall appearance. When Honda introduced the CB750 to the market first, Kawasaki postponed the Z1's release until its displacement could be increased to 903 cc and the motorcycle could be marketed in the 1000cc-class.
In 1972, the Z1 set the world FIM and AMA record for 24-hour endurance on the banked Daytona racetrack, recording 2,631 miles at an average speed of 109.64 mph. Writing in 1976, LJK Setright commented that this record was only 0.36% faster than the previous figure set in 1961 at Montlhéry, France, by a team using a modified BMW R69S, particularly the engine. Also at this time at Daytona a one-off Z1 ridden by Yvon Duhamel that was tuned by Yoshimura set a one-lap record of 160.288 mph.
The Z1 was awarded the MCN 'Machine of the Year' accolade each year from 1973 to 1976 (an award resulting from a readers' opinion-poll run by UK weekly publication Motorcycle News) The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (in Japanese) includes the 1972 Z1 as one of their 240 Landmarks of Japanese Automotive Technology.
The basic design of the Z1 remained relatively unchanged until 1975, when the 903 cc "Z1-B" was introduced, with changes including increased power output, improved suspension, and a stiffer frame. The automatic chain oiler was deleted, the styling was revised – essentially paint scheme and side-panel nomenclature – and the braking was improved.
In 1976 the Z1 was replaced by the Kawasaki KZ900 in the U.S. and Z900 in other markets. This was succeeded by the 1977 Kawasaki Kz1000 ("Z1000") and Kawasaki Z1000 Z1-R, and in 1984 by the Kawasaki Z1100R.
Comparing the Harley-Davidson Sportster to Other Cruiser Motorcycles
Motorcycle enthusiasts often find themselves debating the merits of different cruiser motorcycles, and a recurring focal point in such discussions is the Harley-Davidson Sportster. Known for its rich heritage, classic design, and robust performance, the Sportster has earned a venerable position among cruisers since its inception in the 1950s. However, when comparing it to other notable cruisers in the market, it becomes clear that each bike has its own unique strengths and caters to different riding preferences.
Firstly, the Harley-Davidson Sportster stands out with its unmistakable design and iconic V-twin engine. The Sportster line-up includes models like the Iron 883 and the Forty-Eight, both beloved for their minimalist, stripped-down aesthetics and raw power. The Evolution engine, often referred to as the "Evo," provides reliable performance and a distinctive sound that many riders find irresistible. Additionally, the Sportster offers a lower seat height, making it accessible for shorter riders and those new to cruiser motorcycles. Its agility and compact frame also lend themselves to urban riding, where maneuverability and ease of handling are crucial.
In contrast, let's consider the Indian Scout, another prominent name in the cruiser segment. The Scout features a liquid-cooled V-twin engine, which offers a smoother and more refined riding experience compared to the air-cooled Sportster. The Scout's modern engineering translates to a higher power output and impressive acceleration, making it a favorite among riders looking for both performance and comfort. The Scout's design pays homage to Indian Motorcycle's storied past, while integrating contemporary touches that appeal to modern-day motorcyclists. Furthermore, with its slightly higher price point, the Scout provides additional premium features and a different overall build quality.
Another notable contender in the cruiser motorcycle category is the Yamaha Bolt. This Japanese cruiser positions itself as a direct competitor to the Sportster with its similarly styled bobber design and vibrant performance metrics. The Bolt is equipped with a fuel-injected, air-cooled V-twin engine that delivers a consistent and punchy ride. One of the key advantages of the Bolt is its affordability, as it offers comparable features to the Sportster at a more accessible price point. Additionally, the Bolt is known for its reliability and ease of maintenance, making it a practical choice for everyday riders.
Alternatively, let's examine the Honda Rebel 500, which appeals to a slightly different audience with its modern styling and lightweight chassis. The Rebel 500 is powered by a liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, providing a balance of power and efficiency. This motorcycle is particularly popular among beginner riders due to its approachable power delivery and forgiving nature. The Rebel 500 also offers a customizable platform, allowing riders to modify their bikes to reflect their personal tastes and styles. Its smooth ride and user-friendly ergonomics make it an excellent choice for those who prioritize comfort and ease of use.
While each of these cruisers – the Harley-Davidson Sportster, Indian Scout, Yamaha Bolt, and Honda Rebel 500 – brings something unique to the table, the choice ultimately comes down to individual preference and riding style. The Sportster excels in delivering a raw and authentic riding experience steeped in tradition, while its competitors offer various advantages in terms of performance, modern features, and price points. Enthusiasts who appreciate the connection to motorcycle heritage and the timeless appeal of Harley-Davidson will find the Sportster hard to beat, whereas those seeking cutting-edge performance or specific features may find a better fit with other brands.
In conclusion, comparing the Harley-Davidson Sportster to other cruiser motorcycles reveals a diverse and competitive market. Each bike offers distinctive benefits that cater to different rider needs and preferences. Whether one values the rich history and classic design of the Sportster or the performance and modern advancements of other cruisers, the perfect motorcycle is a blend of personal preference and intended use. Ultimately, the joy of riding is what truly matters and riders will find their own connection with whichever cruiser motorcycle they choose.  So go forth and enjoy the open road on your chosen ride!
You may have seen electric bikes in your neighborhood. They look so fun! I want one! But electric bikes come in a variety of specifications and price ranges. If I were in your position, I would consider the following points:Can I assemble my own bike?Many affordable bikes are now sold direct to consumer, meaning they come pre-tuned or partially assembled in the box. Peter Flax Recently in the spotlight in cycling According to the magazine, these bikes don't appear to have been tested or inspected as much as bikes from the big manufacturers. Unless you ride a lot, don't ride long distances, or have experience modifying your own bikes, we recommend dealing with an established manufacturer with a dealer network. We also don't recommend smart e-bikes. VanMoof’s Recent CollapseHowever, if the company goes bankrupt, it may be difficult to repair your smart e-bike.Why are some bikes so expensive?They use premium components: premium brands like Bosch and Shimano have more powerful batteries and motors that provide longer ranges, with 90 or 120 miles compared to the 15 to 20 miles of a budget bike, though this may not be an issue if your commute is short.What terrain do you live in?If you live on the flatlands, a 250-watt motor, the European speed standard, will probably suffice, but if you live near hills or carry a lot of cargo, you might want to consider a 500-watt or 750-watt motor and some extra features, like hydraulics. Disc brakeThis helps prevent slipping when changing lanes.We also recommend looking for a mid-drive motor rather than a hub-drive motor. Mid-drive motors are located in the center of the bike and provide a more natural feel. Hub-drive motors are located on the rear axle, which moves your center of gravity rearward, which takes some getting used to and can throw you off balance when going up steep hills.Follow some basic safety tips.Not sure where to start? PeopleForBikes, a cycling advocacy group, recently launched a safety education program. Electric Bike Smartwas created in collaboration with the League of American Bicyclists and the Colorado Bicyclists Association. Never leave a bicycle battery charging overnight, and always supervise children when they are riding a bicycle. An 80-pound child should not ride a 65-pound bicycle, even if the motor makes it possible.
In the dynamic environment of motocross racing where sometimes you have to withstand the rigors of off-road terrain and occasional spills, you must first qualify the durability and strength of the brake levers you have selected. Choose brake levers that are constructed with premium materials and designed to endure pressure and impact. Even under the most difficult riding circumstances, durability and dependability are guaranteed by bolstered layouts and sturdy construction.
Brake Lever Guards
While riding choosing the right brake lever guards is of the same importance as choosing the right MX brake levers. Brake lever guards protect your brake levers from damage in collision or contact with other riders ensuring the safety of the levers. Think about spending money on a lever guard that provides strong defense without sacrificing the flexibility or functionality of the lever.
Material
Now comes the most important part of the brake levers which is ‘material’. Normally brake levers are made up of aluminum and carbon. Aluminum brake levers offer more durability and resilience becoming a popular choice among the riders. On the other hand, carbon levers are lightweight and offer a responsive feel but at a higher price than aluminum. Choose the brake levers according to your budget and functionality.
Adjustability
When selecting a brake lever choose a brake lever that is adjustable to your will and riding. Seek for levers with customizable components so you may modify the lever's location to fit your riding style and hand size. The ability to adjust the brake lever’s reach and grip can greatly enhance your riding experience, improving your performance and action on trill terrains.
Grip and Feel
Your ability to maneuver on the track can be significantly impacted by the grip and feel of your brake lever. Seek for layouts with ergonomics or textured surfaces on levers that offer a firm grip and sensory feedback. A tight and firm grip on your brake lever can overall enhance the riding experience for you making you inevitable in the toughest terrain and unstoppable in the most challenging spills.
Brand Reputation
Lastly, be sure to research some top brands offering MX Brake Levers and components to enhance your riding experience. Collect reviews from fellow riders to understand which brand offers the best mx brake levers with high resilience and durability. Reputable manufacturers with a reputation for creating top-notch MX parts are more inclined to give riders better riding and long--
term enjoyment.
In conclusion, compatibility, material, adjustability, durability, grip, and brand reputation must all be meticulously taken into account while selecting the ideal MX brake lever. You may choose a brake lever that improves your efficiency, trust, and satisfaction on the track by spending the time to consider these variables and rank your riding needs. Keep in mind that your brake lever is more than just an ordinary part; it serves as your main means of regulating speed and navigating the turns and curves of motocross racing.
