A question. Do you still rec fics? It's totally okay if you don't, please don't feel pressured!

But if you do, can I please ask for "early thorki" relationship? Like, perhaps set in thor 1 era and maybe dark world. No avengers characters please, i really get weird vibes when they're in thorki fics and i prefer asgardian vibes more🥲😅 i really like their relationship in the first movies bc i feel like in thor 1 and pre-canon, it was thor who started the relationship but always acted like nothing particular was going on between them, making loki feel miserable and then when loki finally snapped, thor realized he truly loved his brother. I just like this silly headcanon of mine🤭

Kid sends his top two weapon-meister pairs to Hawaii to deal with a band of pre-kishins and impress the local goddess. this is infantblue’s fault that I ended up crying over this fic and I curse her forever bc this fic is. just. that. good. characterizations, dialogues, build-ups, descriptions, banters, sass, all gold.

Chocolat Blanc by Luer de L’aube (M). Hooking up with a stranger at her childhood friend's wedding hadn't been Maka's plan, nor had she planned on being so hung up on him after that night. It had been just sex after all, even if he had been endearingly awkward and cute and had flirted with her via pastries. Maybe she should have at least asked for his last name as well. The pacing is good, and both of them are adorable. And Soul as a pattisier? yes, please.

For Better or For Worse by ilarual (G). What’s two best friends do when one of them is hard on cash and the other getting nagged to settle down by his rich family? Making a marriage contract, of course.

The Art of Losing by redphlox (T). Anastasia AU. Simply beautiful. This is also one of the resbangs I caught myself thinking every other time.

Caught Dead by redphlox (T). Holes AU. When Maka Albarn takes the fall for a friend’s crime, she is sentenced to Shibusen Juvenile Detention Center in Death City, Nevada. It’s almost bearable thanks to a frustrating - and cute - camper who helps her dig holes under the hot sun.
