Oddly, it wasn’t Ikasti who reassured his uncle. “Saganu,” Kali called gently, and he tilted his head back to look at her. “You know how Ikasti is with Shani. It has been clear ever since I first got pregnant that he was meant to be a father - but no matter how amazingly capable Zivan is, that is one gift he will never be able to provide. This is an excellent solution for all involved - a pair of children, each bearing Miurani and Inrokini blood, loved and desired by all four of their parents - by their families.”
