yes yes the final corner overtake is great and all but I'm always very endeared by valentino getting so close to jorge while out-braking him down the main straight into turn one that he has to retract his knee for a moment

#happy catalunya week <3 I'd like to say this is the first race I think of every year we get to catalunya but it's actually still 2019. alas #anyway jorge had gotten ahead of him down the straight so it was a quick exchange of overtakes #still braking that much later while being given that little room when you're travelling with that much speed on the outside line...#not too bad not too bad #mind you jorge's got that dog in him too because on the final lap he makes sure vale can't do that again by almost running him off track #//#brr brr #I also always love whenever he dangles the leg in a way that seems less about balance and more about physically blocking the other rider #crucial lore that in his rookie 125cc season he'd sometimes elbow and knee the other riders... feral little thing
