i did try to make a "further readings" ss post, so to speak; compilation of related media, and material that strongly influenced how i interpret the story. my personal list of ss secondary texts. but it turned out bad and difficult and ballooned out of control, it is hard to cohere ss into a brief and concise shape. especially with my tendency to see pieces of it everywhere + enough time has passed since i first came to love this story so i've just accumulated way too many interconnected works.

though it is worth mentioning: one of the most important things, and also most formative, was the research and/or resources for the sexual abuse of men i delved into. a lot of notable, meaningful books there.
