hmm. certainly says something when i can recognize every single word my dad uses to tell 阿嬤 abt jesus.
#mother's been using 台語 with people on this particular trip which is a First to my memory#i heard her telling people she's been getting back in practice with it at church recently which makes sense#might also be that i didn't know enough abt how 台語 sounds last time we were here but i can Definitely recognize it now#which i think has been a development of the last year bc when my sister's gf spoke to my mom in 台語 all i knew is i couldn't understand it#i remember it was like 'this sounds like mandarin except i can't understand a word' but now it registers as a diff dialect#the worm speaks#to be fair tho my mom also would never speak 台語 when i asked her abt it previously. like for whatever reason.
