this miss higgins story with her son reminds me of a moment a season or two ago, there’s this young teenage couple who want to keep their baby but the mother/grandmother arranges for an adoption
and there’s this horrible moment where they’re taking the baby away from these screaming crying sixteen year old kids
and miss higgins stops the adoption worker to carefully snip off the baby’s name bracelet to give back to the parents so they can always keep a piece of their baby with the name they chose for him and i just

So I have some asks in my box but I wanted to get this off my mind.
Can you imagine Midwife!Omega!Moon who also helps give advice and physical therapy on how to conceive? ( @gemini-sensei )
Like she's helps couples by talking to them about health and nutrition. The best things to eat and different exercises that could help to get both people ready to try and have pups. Most of the time she helps out couples who just started trying for pups and others who have tried for a while with no results.
But there are some times when she helps single people who are just looking to have pups on their own. With the help of a donation clinic, she is able to help find healthy and willing donors. She helps with both non-contact cases and live donation situations.

My Genetics Are...not great
(Yes, I already knew that, but, additionally) I am...not currently well. Nothing to worry about and I'm going to be fine, but it means that I can't currently do much of anything because it all takes too much energy (if I don't answer you for a while, or fall out of touch for a bit this is why, I'm sorry, I promise I will get back to you). But, being not able to do much meant I could finally follow @marzipanandminutiae 's implicit recommendation and watch Repo! The Genetic Opera. I can thus report that A: It is very good. B: Discovering another generation's cult musical was an interesting experience. C: This was absolutely, hands down, the funniest thing to watch right after discovering that you have an inheritable genetic condition*. But also, I then introduced it to my eldest daughter and... She: "Why the heck hadn't you seen this sooner?" Me: *Taps UK release date. Looks at my end-of-2008** born daughter. Taps date again* She: "Oh" Me: "But on the bright side, I only almost died!" She: "And then I got infected." Me: "Yes, you very much did. "Want to practice this as an audition piece?" She: *Glows in thespian* "Yes!" *Coeliac. It's just coeliac disease. Except that I could have done with finding out about it several decades ago. **I am old, I am old, I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled. Except I'm not actually keen on trousers.
