Dolphins K Jason Sanders makes 52-yard field goal as time expired to cement the 20-17 win over the Jags. Dolphins star WR Tyreek Hill, who had been detained by police on his way to the stadium for a traffic violation, ran 54 yards for a touchdown late in the 3rd quarter. Wild Card Weekend
Each game this weekend outside of the Cowboys/Buccaners game went over the spread. You would think because we witnessed a lot of scoring that the point totals would trickle down to wideouts having monstrous days…and that was far from the case. We had 8 players go over 100 yards receiving for the day. Half were tight-ends and for now I haven’t talked about them on this blog even though next season I’m thinking about including them…I mean they do catch the ball too.
In High School one of my favorite quotes was, “Big time players, make big time plays, in big time games.” DK Metcalf is a big time player. As the game was about to get out of hand, DK ran a go-route up the left sideline using a speed release to catch his first touchdown of the day for 50 yards. This cut the lead to 10-7. Despite losing 41-23 Metcalf had a great afternoon. He caught 10 passes for 136 yards and 2 TD’s. His second touchdown was during garbage time but it still counts because he can use this performance to build on during off season. It’s unusual for me to see a 49ers defense cautious when tackling wideouts but Metcalf sure had Lenoir and Ward making business decisions when trying to tackle the beastie wideout.
Deebo last name Samuel looked so damn fast on his only touchdown of the day. Samuel plays a physical brand of football from the wideout position. His first touch was a toss where he plowed his way for a 15-yard gain. Deebo is the perfect proprietary blend of toughness, explosion, quickness and bedazzlement. His touchdown of 72 yards in which 66 of them were YAC (yards after catch). Mr Samuel got a great block from tight-end George Kittle, weaved slightly inside to set up the defender and turned the jets on smoking defenders on his way for 6 points. I like winners and not saying DK isn’t one but his team lost so Deebo Samuel is this weeks wideout of the week.
Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis finished Sunday’s game with damn near identical statistics. The “I’m Him” wideout caught 7 balls for 114 yards with zero touchdowns. Davis caught 6 passes for 113 yards and 1 touchdown. It was crazy to me that Miami got back in the game right before halftime after trailing 17-0. It’s almost safe to say that had Tua or Bridgewater played Miami may have won this game. I love the way these two competed against the up in your face defense by the Miami secondary. I expect another solid performance by the duo this coming weekend against a Cincinnati Bengals team who played in last season’s Super Bowl despite losing to the Rams.
Our last wideout to go over 100 yards on Sunday was Isaiah Hodgins of the New York Giants. This is my first time hearing his name but after watching highlights I liked what I saw on his tape. Hodgins ran a beautiful bang post for a 12 yard touchdown. He caught 8 passes for 105 yards and 1 touchdown. In a perfect world, I hope Hodgins duplicates this performance by going out with the game of his life against the Philadelphia Eagles so the Dallas Cowboys could beat the Giants the following week and return to their first Super Bowl in 28 years.
Wideouts Let’s Go, play fast, have fun and at the end of the day just catch it!

Don Shula
Tumblr media
Physique: Average Build Height: 5'11" (1.80 m)
Donald Francis Shula (January 4, 1930 – May 4, 2020) was an American professional football player and coach who was best known as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, the team he led to two Super Bowl victories, and to the only perfect season in the history of the NFL. He had only two losing seasons in his 33-year career as a head coach in the NFL. He currently holds the NFL record for most career wins as a head coach, with 347. Shula was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1997. Shula is regarded as one of the greatest coaches in NFL history. He died on May 4, 2020 in Indian Creek, Florida, at the age of 90.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back in the day, the Miami Dolphins was my second favorite team and looking back now, Don was the reason why. Handsome, thick with a jutting jaw and and if you look closely you will note that he has a ferociously furry chest. he had a fierce look, whether pacing the practice field, demanding that his players be prepared, or exhorting his teams from the sidelines. I would have love to start on his team as a tight end and finishing up as a wide receiver. You know what I’m talking about. A Shula dick down.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Grand River, OH native was married twice with eight total children, 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He falls into my "loves to fuck theory." He was the kind of man I could spend hours with. Look at him, he just look like he could give you a good ass-pounding. But being a devout Roman Catholic, he would probably disagree. Although you have to admit, it's a crying shame that Shula wasn't a bull butt-fucking regularly at gay orgies.

Top 5 NFL Teams Most Likely to Regress in 2024
As the 2024 NFL season approaches, fans and analysts alike are buzzing with predictions and expectations. While some teams are poised to build on last year's successes, others might find it challenging to replicate their performances. Today, we're diving into the top five teams most likely to take a step back this season. Are your favorite teams on the list? Let's break it down.
1. Dallas Cowboys
Key Concerns:
- Lost Too Many Key Players: The Cowboys lost several crucial players and haven't adequately replaced them. Key departures include Tony Pollard, Tyron Smith, Tyler Biadasz, and Stephon Gilmore.
- Big Contracts Looming: The Cowboys have three significant contracts coming up. CeeDee Lamb is reportedly unhappy and has not shown up to camp while, Dak Prescott is on the final year of his contract, and Micah Parsons' contract extension is on the horizon.
- Decision Time: Decisions need to be made on veterans like Demarcus Lawrence and Zack Martin.
- Lame Duck Contracts: Both Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott are on lame-duck contracts, adding pressure and uncertainty to the team’s future.
- Playoff Performances: The past four years have been marked by playoff flameouts, questioning the team's ability to perform under pressure.
2. Miami Dolphins
Key Concerns:
- Defensive Issues: The Dolphins' defense has been lacking. They've let some key pieces walk and need a stronger edge. Granted they have Jalen Ramsey and Xavien Howard, but they let Christian Wilkins walk.
- Offensive Line Problems: The offensive line has issues, which could hinder their offensive performance. The last thing a team with an injury-prone QB needs.
- Fitness and Power Balance: There is a concern that the team has too much finesse and not enough power, which could become a problem as the season progresses.
- Depth and Health: Depth and health have been problematic, and adjustments in these areas are essential for success. It's almost time to start looking at Mike McDaniel funny because there are times when he makes himself look a little silly by trying to be the biggest brain in football.
3. Buffalo Bills
Key Concerns:
- Roster Turnover: The Bills experienced significant roster turnover due to cap reasons and other factors. Key players like Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Jordan Poyer, Tre'Davious White, Micah Hyde, and Leonard Floyd are all critical to their success.
- Wide Receiver Room: The wide receiver room is young and unproven, which could lead to inconsistency in the passing game.
- Offensive Line: The offensive line remains a question mark, needing improvement to protect Josh Allen and establish a running game.
4. Minnesota Vikings
Key Concerns:
- Quarterback Situation: The Vikings face uncertainty with Kirk Cousins and Danielle Hunter both leaving. Trusting Sam Darnold and A Rookie JJ McCarthy isn't the best idea.
- Defense Overhaul: They are overhauling a defense that still gave up significant yardage, and the new lineup might not gel immediately.
- Running Game: The running game is questionable, and the offensive line needs help to establish a balanced attack.
- One-Score Games: The Vikings won a lot of one-score games last season, a trend that's hard to sustain. With questions at quarterback.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
Key Concerns:
- Protecting Trevor Lawrence: Protecting their star quarterback has not been a strong suit, risking his health and effectiveness.
- Wide Receiver Consistency: Keeping a solid wide receiver group together has been inconsistent, impacting the passing game.
- Secondary and Pass Rush: The secondary still needs help, and the pass rush could use improvement.
- Roster Turnover: Key players such as Calvin Ridley, DJ Chark, Jamal Agnew, Zay Jones, K'Lavon Chaisson, Tre Herndon, and Rayshawn Jenkins are all factors in the team's changing dynamics.
As we gear up for the new NFL season, it's essential to recognize the challenges and changes each team faces. While these five teams showed promise last year, various factors could lead to a regression in their performance. Whether it's due to roster changes, contract uncertainties, or defensive and offensive challenges, these teams will need to address their weaknesses to maintain their competitive edge. Tumblr media
Our bestie Jason draws out what we are all wondering about...
"Sounds like a labyrinth of issues" says Jason.
Oh Travis, she is falling in love with you, and Jason saw the Argentina Night 1 acoustic performance of Labyrinth too.
Referencing the lyric change in Karma;
"How does it feel to officially be 'The guy on the Chiefs'?" Jason teased Travis on the podcast. With a laugh, Travis said that he had "no clue" Taylor planned to mention him during her show. "Well, I might have had a little bit of a clue," he then admitted. "But definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, [it] still shocked me."  "Yeah, you could tell in the video," Jason responded.  "I was like, 'Oh shh! She really said that,'" Travis marveled.
When Jason notes that Scott Swift is wearing a Chiefs lanyard at the Eras Tour Night 3 he asks...
"What are we doing, Scott? You're gonna let this man's devilish good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott? Ridiculous."  Travis further explained, "I might have persuaded him at dinner the night before. When I met him."
Travis commenting on the first Eras Tour he has attended as Taylor's boyfriend..
"The show was even more electric knowing that I had a little bit more to enjoy," he said of watching her perform in Argentina. "Taylor absolutely ripped it. She killed it and it looked like she was having some fun up there."
We love to see the support Travis is showing to our little Indie artist.
We are to expect to see Taylor and Travis spending time together during the Eras tour break according to ET sources (x)
"Taylor has a two-month break in her tour, taking December and January off, and the couple is planning to spend more time together" during that time.
ET reports (x)
Donna and Ed Kelce, and Andrea and Scott Swift are expected to meet for the first time on Monday as the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs face off for Monday Night Football.
We can expect to see Taylor at the November 20 game too.

Marlin Oliver “The Magician” Briscoe (September 10, 1945 - June 27, 2022) was a football quarterback for the AFL and NFL. When the Denver Broncos drafted him in 1968, he became the first African American Quarterback in professional football to start on a football team.
He was born in Oakland. His family relocated to Omaha and he attended Omaha South High School, where he played on the football team that won the state championship as a running back. He attended the University of Nebraska, Omaha, and played for the football team, the Mavericks, as a quarterback. The team had a 27-11 record and three conference titles. He graduated in 1967 and entered the 1968 NFL Draft. The Denver Broncos took him in the 14th round.
The Broncos wanted him to play the cornerback position, but he negotiated with the team to compete for the quarterback position. On September 29, 1968, he had his first opportunity as a quarterback during the fourth quarter against the Boston Patriots after starting quarterback Steve Tensi suffered a broken collarbone. His first play was a 22-yard completion leading to an 80-yard touchdown drive. A week later, on October 6, 1968, Briscoe became the first African American starting quarterback in the American Football Conference. He threw 14 touchdowns in 5 starts during the rest of the season.
During the 1969 season, controversy occurred when coach Lou Saban chose Pete Liske over him as the starting quarterback. In protest, He asked to be released from the Broncos and went to the Buffalo Bills, where he played as a wide receiver. He led the team in touchdown catches and made the Pro Bowl in 1970. In 1971, he was traded to the Miami Dolphins, where he led the team to two Super Bowl wins in 1972 and 1973 while still playing wide receiver. He played with the San Diego Chargers, the Detroit Lions, and the New England Patriots, retiring after the 1976 NFL season.
He moved to Los Angeles. He became a municipal bond broker and worked with the Boys and Girls Club in Long Beach. The University of Nebraska Omaha honored him with a statue. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence #kappaalphapsi

NFL Week 17
Tumblr media
We are down to the last week of the NFL regular season. I won’t lie I was disappointed in the performance of Justin Jefferson. Jefferson was held to 1 catch for 15 yards by the shit talking corner Jaire Alexander who backed it up. The Minnesota Vikings play the Chicago Bears and although they have a losing record…the team is historically known for being good on the defensive side of the ball. Jefferson would need 194 yards to break Calvin Johnson’s record. And as optimistic as I tend to be I just don’t see him having a game of that caliber when the game itself doesn’t effect playoff seeding.
Its crazy how, I think just 4 short weeks ago, Tyreek Hill was sitting pretty with 1500 yards and well above pace to break 2,000 yards in a season. The Miami Dolphins face the New York Jets who have the #2 allowed yards per game (192.5) defense. Cheetah Hill would need 278 yards to surpass Calvin Johnson and like I mentioned above I don’t see that happening. I guess we wideout fans will have to wait another season to see a wideout surpass 2,000.
The Wideout of the Week award goes to Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Evans had a monstrous day with 10 catches for 207 yards and 3 touchdowns. Whoever the corner on that right side was, I’m sure cried after the game. Evans scored on plays of 63, 51, and 30 yards respectively. He even dropped another 50 yard pass that would’ve been a touchdown on the goal line in the 3rd quarter.
Davante Adams was up to his usual domination of whooping db’s ass all over the field. And I appreciate his performance especially after hearing he had to take time away from the facility because the team chose to sit Derek Carr. Adams is playing at an extremely high level right now. Body language is everything and in this moment Adams body language exudes positivity and vivaciousness. In what was once called “The Battle of The Bay” the Raiders played one of their best games of the season against a San Francisco 49er team that I feel will be in the NFC Championship game. Adams caught 7 passes for 153 yards and scored two touchdowns. Adams leads the league with 14 receiving touchdowns and is 3rd in yards with 1,443. I like how he’s bounced back from a slow start. And with the way he’s played I know have to consider him for the Wideout of the Year award.
Chris Godwin has quietly put himself in position to reach 1,000 yards on the season. He needs 32 yards and will have done so for the 3rd time in his 6 year career. And this is nothing short of amazing considering he tore his ACL a little over a year ago and only missed two games because of it. While Evans dominated the day, Godwin found his way underneath coverage to finish the afternoon with 9 catches for 120 yards. The Buccaneers are hot and whoever gets this team in the first round will definitely have to be ready.
D.J. Moore has found a way to make plays this season. I think this is my 3rd or 4th time writing about the young wideout. One thing that makes me laugh when watching tape is knowing Moore is going to drop an easy one. But to his defense a lot of those really fast dudes usually have catching difficulties. Moore caught 6 passes for 117 yards and scored on an all-go switch up the left sideline. With one week remaining Moore would need 122 yards to have 1,000 yards on the season.
I’m a lover/connoisseur of the West Coast offense. I learned it my last two years of college playing for the 3rd winningest coach in NCAA history Dick Tomey. And I won a championship at Mater Dei while coaching under the same offensive philosophy. Brandon Aiyuk caught 66% of his passes with a west coast staple…2 jet lion…also known as slant. You have to have fearless wideouts in your system to run slants effectively. The wideouts can’t be no punk bitch. Aiyuk had 9 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown on a nice release for the three-yard slant.
Last on the list is Dallas Cowboys #1 wideout Ceedee Lamb. Despite early struggles with dropping the ball, Lamb has roared his way to #7 in yards with 1,307. He has played big time ball and I like how is game has progressed over the season. Now he won’t win or be in the discussion for Wideout of the Year but if I had to choose a Most Improved wideout than Lamb would probably be in the contention for that. Against the Titans Lamb caught 11 balls for 100 yards with zero tubs.
Wideouts the 2022-2023 regular season is a wrap after this week. Let’s Go Finish Strong, Make the Most of Every Play, Have Fun, and BaLLLL to the Wheels fallll!

NFL star in handcuffs:
It remains to be seen what the consequences of the incident will be for the players involved.
Shortly before the start of the NFL season, superstar Tyreek Hill was temporarily taken into custody as part of a traffic stop. As a result, the pass receiver and his team were asked to take a critical stance towards the player. The police justify their actions.
The police had previously released video footage from bodycams documenting the stop. The published video footage shows Hill sitting in a black sports car. A police officer approaches his vehicle and Hill hands the officer something through the lowered window. The window is then rolled up again.
Tumblr media
The police officer then asks him to lower the window again, but Hill does not do so. Another police officer then forcefully opened the driver's door, whereupon Hill was pulled out of the vehicle and pinned to the ground. An officer pressed his knee into Hill's back, whereupon he was handcuffed.
‘I still don't know what happened,’ Hill said after the NFL opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars (20-17) and criticised: ’What if I wasn't Tyreek Hill? God knows what those officials would have done.’
The Dolphins wrote in their statement that this was ‘a reminder’ that ‘not every situation like this ends peacefully, and we are grateful that it did in this one.’
There are ‘some officers who confuse their responsibility and dedication with misguided power’, it continued: ‘We commend the MDPD (Miami Dade Police Department, ed.) for taking the proper and necessary action and releasing this footage so quickly, but also urge them to take equally swift and decisive action against the officers who behaved so abhorrently.’
youtube
Hill uncooperative according to police
No, Power abuse in its purist form.
It's interesting how many cops turned up on the tray for a normal traffic stop!
Any non-POC citizen would have had no problem getting into his car and the traffic stop would not have happened, this is structural racism!
The black man with the big fat car fits the image of police officers abusing their power.
Tumblr media
Throw them out, they have no place in the police force, at most as security guards in a shopping centre car park.
