I love writing in the benchtrio royalty au actually. c!tommy in it is a delight. he's outwardly childish bc he's forced to be so, bc c!dream, his “adoptive father” (aka c!dream's holding him hostage bc he’s the youngest prince of the sbi's country and immediately decided to adopt him bc he didn’t give a shit about his biological son c!ranboo) basically has removed everything in his life that can help him learn to grow up to keep him dependent and punishes him for trying to grow up. but internally he’s perceptive and is the only one who knows about c!dream's secret experiments, and while his feelings on his family are… complicated, he's a lot more mature than he shows.
