hello! im new to the funamusea fandom... i was wondering how you get started with roleplaying? I really wanna get into it and I'm not sure how to start out!

I've been in this fandom since a week before Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea became popular, close to 5 years I think? Idk I'm pretty old school and all I did was make a character account. I thought about the way I wanted to portray a character and I made their page, giving myself rules and guidelines for others to follow. Sometimes you know these rules off the top of your head, sometimes you just add to them as you encounter people who test your patience in the fandom.Then I made a list of headcanons about the character I rped for people to see. It's handy if you rp a character with little information on them, i.e. characters like Daimonji, Lzet, Mephir, ect. Those who only have a couple of lines in a wikipedia article. After I did that, then I made a promo for myself, something with basic information - how long you've been rping, what kind of blog you want to be: selective, open, private and whatnot, whether you accept ocs and crossovers, whether or not you rp nsfw and gore all that good stuff.Then I would send people pms I wanted to rp with or thought was interesting. People who's characters I thought would either have interesting relationships with mine or I thought who could make a good plot with mine. DSP's characters are pretty flexible for the most part and there are always AUs so never sell yourself short. Rping is supposed to be a fun and diverse experience so never deprive yourself of taking a chance.I hope you actually do come into the rping side of the fandom. I know I'd love to rp with you and I'm sure my friends would as well!Good luck, my friend!
