I absolutely adored the latest chapter of The Marked One. I did miss seeing James and Hermione interact. Is James going to be wildly overprotective of Hermione now? I imagine it could lead to some hilarious situations.

Hermione: " I'm a damsel. I'm in distress. I can handle this. Have a nice day. "

James was definitely protective before this, I think he'll just use it as evidence for why his concern is valid -- which it totally is in some respects.

LOL as much as I love a good Hercules reference, Megara is way too chill for Hermione to embody. Hermione would probably just make a cutting response and then find a way to do what she wanted anyway. She a "either you work with me or you're working against me" type of person and I love that about her.

THIS  IS  THE  KIND  OF  QUESTION   that’s  met  with  a  dramatic  roll  of  her  eyes,   a  quiet  scoff,   and  the  sort  of  bracing  one  would  need  to  prepare  for  what  comes  next.   it’s  the  kind  of  thing  that  often  spoken  with  a  self-importance  unbecoming  of  anyone,   and  she’s  not  super  thrilled  to  have  to  answer.   but   ------he’s   awaiting  an  answer  anyway,   so  meg  leans  back,  sighs  dramatically,   and  lets  her  shoulders  rise  and  fall  in  an  exaggerated  shrug.
