concept from my AU (you know the one):
After that horrific scene on Bracca and Rex manages to save Omega, and after the boys slowly come to, Crosshair, who'd been elbowed hard by a chip-influenced Wrecker, finds himself slowly but surely slipping under the chip's influence. He manages to get this out to his brothers, through gritted teeth and hissed syllables.
Rex stuns him out cold, absolutely zero hesitation - in fact, he's more than a little smug about it (after all he said about Echo and Rex back on Anaxes, it's more than a little deserved.
Understandably, the Batchers all take offense at that because the Captain could've given them at least a warning before he went and did that.
But Hunter's mostly upset because he really really wanted to be the one to stun Crosshair.
#Omega's passed out next to a recovering Wrecker so she's got no idea of what's going on#Tech is severely affronted on Crosshair's behalf#Hunter is too - that's HIS vod'ika - but he's also a little jealous because he's wanted to do that to Cross since FOREVER#Echo's rolling his eyes because all his vode are being very stupid right now and he is unfortunately once more the Keeper of the Braincell#Rex is just. so buzzed about it. he's literally DREAMT of doing this. he's still got his blaster trained on the di'kut IN CASE he woke up#AND NEEDS ANOTHER ROUND#meanwhile Crosshair's dreaming of following orders and obeying the emperor and a shriek-hawk streaked in blue cackling at him#ANYWAYS#this is what I like to call Ori'vod Privileges: as the eldest vod present Rex gets to stun Cross :)#I really ought to write something but my brain just isn't braining right now#I MIGHT write something but later#for now this is all you get#far away galaxy#defective and effective#fight another day
