once again in that mode of reminding myself that i do need to not feel schadenfreude if nonvoters/democrat bashers suffer as a result of the consequences of their actions now that republicans are in charge like they asked for

#personal #gotta not cheer when the price of eggs goes up again #it's hard tho #because a) i voted for kamala and am a democrat and am so happilly and full throatedly #so i simply am not at fault for this #and b) the combination of being in a very reliably blue state and in a very good economic position #means that there's not a whole lot that republicans are gonna do that'll affect me personally #so i have to make sure i don't turn off the empathy switch in my brain #for gina the leftist who whines about how it's a war crime that biden didn't pardon ENOUGH of her community college student loans #and that her private burrito taxi should be free in the name of communism
